This Champs Sports location at University Town Center in Sarasota is a well managed Champs location that has a good selection of shoes and athletic clothing available. The staff here is very helpful and makes sure that you find everything that you need. I was happy with my purchases from here.

Not very many good shoes like low top air force ones or airmaxes! They did have them but not now for some reason!

Helpful staff, nice collection. On a down note lost my baby grandaughters Nikes in the parking lot near the east door at Dillards. No one turned them in along with diaper bag with name and phone # on bag ID. Who ever found them must need more then us.

Good Evening,Id like to report my experience during a purchase and return of a product at the Champs located at University Town Center Mall, Sarasota Fl. Over the past few days, I made a purchase of shoes that were gifted to my brother and during that time was ridiculed and harassed. Unfortunately, the size of the shoes were too small and I had to return them.Once I arrived at the store, the store clerks and manager refused to accept the return and claimed the reason was due to them being worn. When asked to have the shoes inspected for signs of wear, the store clerks and managers refused to even look at the shoes. I feel personally discriminated against.At that time, I contacted another store within the area, and the representatives informed me Champs corporate policy was to accept the shoes if there are no obvious signs of wear, and if they were in perfect condition for resale, therefore should be accepted for return.The sales representatives refused me service and then called the other stores within the area and told them to refuse service to us as well.I find this treatment to be harassment and spiteful. The managers were completely unprofessional and as a result of them refusing to provide customer service, I had to drive 45 min out of the way to return them to a different store where they accepted the shoes.The store representatives at the UTC Location not only mistreated myself and my brother but also wrongfully went out of their way to contact other locations to have them refuse us service.Be prepared for rude and racist employees.

Overall a great store, great displays and very unique setup. Employees were great, although the guy who seemed to be the manager was rude and invasive.

The Champs are Scams !!!!Justin supposedly validated a $75.00 gift certificate for me which my daughter paid cash for. When I went to use the gift card it had $0.00 on it. He remembers the transaction yet is unwilling to stand by his mess up. I can not use the gift card, my daugher is out $75.00 and their lousy customer service wont answer the phone. Shame on this store!!!!!!

Went there to buy a new pair of shoes, card reader went down and when i asked them to work with me because i would have to go use the mall atm they said they could not do it. I work retail, these employees straight up lied to me to try to get an extra 80 cents on their commission. Took my business to ellenton and got the same pair of shoes for 40 dollars cheaper. Will never shop there again
