Helpful and friendly staff, will be using them for all the lumber needs while remodeling my brothers place. One gentleman was kind enough to allow us to come back after normal operating hours to pickup the other half of our subfloor order. Great bunch of guys!

We call our orders in and they are always ready when they say they will be ready. Prices are very good, the quality of their lumber is REAL GOOD. Local Sonoma County business, these guys understand customer service. The Yard guys are always there to help you load your orders, try getting that kind of service at a big box store hardware stores. Burgess lumber is my go to lumber store, FOR LIFE.

Horrible help in the yard. Finally after half an hour went to find my order myself and found nothing but twisted lumber. When I was walking back to the office to cancel my order out of a group of 3 guys talking a guy finally helped me but they said they had nothing left in stock. Office didn’t seem too concerned. Almost as bad as their yard in Newark. There’s a reason why my company rarely uses them

Called to confirm lumber was in stock asking specifically for 2x8x10 doug fir, dry or KD which they said they had over 50 in stock. drove 20 min to pick up. then they say they dont have it in stock.... went to Mead Clark instead.
