The design and sales team at Coronado Paint and Decorating is phenomenal! I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted, and with their expertise and knowledge my project turned out much better than expected. The large selection of flooring products provided many options, and I enjoyed browsing their showroom looking at tile, hardwood and window coverings. Their on-site design team is creative and they really listen to their customers. They helped guide me through to the perfect choices.

We greatly regret not trusting our “gut” feeling when we entered Coronado Paint & Decorating. We received minimal assistance and felt rushed to pick out flooring samples because the store wanted to close. We were assigned a primary point of contact (POC) who never showed up at our home during the 1900 square foot project. Before the project was completed, the POC demanded full payment. The installation (subcontracted out) was so bad that we had to hire another flooring company to provide consultation. Despite providing numerous photos to the owner of Coronado, he concluded that the installation was acceptable, and collecting payment before the job was completed to pay subcontractors was their standard business practice. He accused us of wanting to pull up the floors after only 4 months to install radiant heat – as though we liked the idea of tearing up our entire home remodel and spending a fortune. What an insult! Stay away—there are other companies who have experienced installers, provide consultation, and don’t require payment in order to pay their subs before the job is completed.

I am a very happy and satisfied customer of Coronado Paint and Decorating. Both of my salesmen were knowledgeable, professional, personable and fun. Not only have I made the right purchasing decisions but I feel I have made two new friends in the process.

We have given lots of business to Coranado over the years. When my son and I stopped in for a small piece of carpet the three employees at the front of the store were unfriendly, dismissive and aggressive. Home Depot is just around the corner and lots cheaper. Can’t support local if local is nasty!

Coronado does a lot of work for our business. We go back to them over, and over, and over. Chris S. is our guy, and Buddy always looks out for us. Fair prices (not the least expensive, but not the most expensive - just fair). Their installers always show up on time to our site, are always professional and courteous, and the job is always done right the first time. Weve stopped shopping paint, tile, flooring, and carpet. We just call them, and it always works out. The only thing that would change my review to a 5 would be if they were the least expensive in town, but Im more interested in quality than bottom dollar.

Levi and Roy are fantastic shade repairmen. They were incredibly friendly and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

I am sometimes overwhelmed in the big chain stores when I just have a smaller project that I want to accomplish and Im always happy with the customer service people @ Coronado. They have helped me get focused on finishing the project and Ive gotten just what I needed from them when choosing both paint colors and carpeting and Im more than satisfied with the way that the room turned out.I also want to compliment them about their installation staff where carpeting is concerned: I was babysitting a kiddo at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Santa Fe a few years back and we had to stay at the hotel and couldnt really go out in town because of the childs disability. All week long, the team from Coronado was replacing the carpeting throughout the hotel and we ran into the workers quite a bit. I was so impressed with the guys from Coronado because they were so very kind to us as we came and went from the room each day. These guys were so very courteous and considerate towards us! I have always remembered that kindness and the way that they treated us. I do believe that good work and good people should always be remembered and mentioned and applauded!

Coronado Paint and Decorating has been doing work for me at Los Alamos Schools for over twelve years. Their work is top notch and the customer service is great. I seldomly have a problem and if I do they come and fix it to my satisfaction, no questions asked.

When you rush across town to get to the place to find the doors are closed at 5.23 (yes, I have a phone and the time is precise) its one thing. When the manager tells you he closed the doors at 5.27 (like thats OK anyway?) then calls you a liar when you tell him how early you got there, thats another thing.I suggest when you see someone at your already closed doors and you know perfectly well its not yet time to close them, you actually make some effort for the customer.I wasted half an hour dashing to your store to get something, because you told me you were open until 5.30Instead, you just lost a customer who will never come back, and landed yourself a bad review.Tip: wasting peoples time and calling them liars is not good business.
