I really didnt like the people here at Auto Nation Acura because of the following experiences I had with them.1. I visited them last year when decided to go for an RDX and the sales guy was so rude at the end of deal and so I ended up going to Acura Fremont to purchase the vehicle.2. I visited them for windshield Crack and service agent didnt even look at the car to see if it can be repaired or replaced but instead he just gave me a flat rate to replace the windshield. So I went ahead with insurance companys suggestion and they charged less than 50% of what this Acura center quoted me3. I went for a scheduled service and some issues with media system. He said it will take 5 hours for just the oil change service and they dont do any shuttle or offer any lyft service. For other issues he said I have to drop my car for three or more days and they dont offer a loaner car during that period. He just said No to everything. I cancelled my appointment after having a conversation with such a rude agent, I drove 20 miles to Fremont for service and they got it done in 1 hr 30min.I called the service manager to leave a feedback and lady over the phone said she left a note for him to call back and I left a voice mail too but guess what no call to take the customer feedback. If they are not giving a damn about the customer satisfaction, I dont know why they are still trying to run a business. Its really disappointing and irritating to do business with them. Im not visiting this dealership ever again and Ill not recommend them.

Bought a car from this dealership in 2009 and have been servicing it there exclusively ever since.Its hard to prove, but they seem to be offering unnecessary services occasionally. When the car had a developing oil leak, they did different kinds of diagnostics and repairs, repeatedly, but never found the cause. In the end it ended up being a recall issue. With the Covid pandemic, the number of recommendations has gone up. Today they even presented a list of services (to the tune of hundreds of dollars) that apparently are optional and not recommended based on the cars condition, but just have to be presented according to corporate playbook. And finally, when you do agree to some of the actual recommendations, such as fluid flushes, they will call back again later and discover new fluids to flush, again at hundreds of dollars, because supposedly the technician forgot to list it, but magically remembered it later.

You call them multiple times and they never call you back on the day off about scheduling an appointment. I never heard from them for over 3 weeks. They always say they are busy and give you a call. This not a good way to keep customer loyalty.

Price gaugers!I took my 1016 Acura TLX for A/C service. They charged me $225 for the A/C diagnosis and then said I had to pay 1017 to replace a leaking condensor. It seemed expensive, so I ask how much was the part and the labor. He said part and coolant was $300. I asked several times but Sergio would not tell tell me how many hours of labor were involved, just that they charge by the job. $700 in labor seemed very expensive, especially when they dont tell you how long it takes.Opaque business practices designed to gauge customers, so I took it somewhere else.Dont take your care there for A/C service

Came for 100k mile service for $2k and as I drive out all of the warning lights in the car start going off. An half hour later and I am still sitting here waiting for them to figure out what they did.

Poor customer service. I took my car to them in Sept of 2019 for some recall work. While there I asked them to look at some possible corrosion on my car that was only 2 years old, paint is bubbling under read door handle. They completed the recall work and said they gathered the needed info and pictures to submit to Acura HQ. I am now 5 months out from that appointment and it has been nothing but a run around. I cant even get them to take my calls or return an e-mail.

I took my car here because check engine light was on, before I went to this place I already know that my car need pc replacement. It took them couple of days to look at my car and couldnt figure out what was wrong until CEO took over and told them pc need replacement. They want me to come back to replace power steering and power steering pump due to power steering leak that would cost me $3500 to replaced they said. Finding out from a local mechanic that the only problem on my car leaking was power steering pump hose. I would not recommend this place for any repair.

I’ve heard AutoNation buys cars even if we don’t buy their cars, I went online to check if they would buy my VW eGolf. I already got a quote from CarMax. The website gave me a better quote so I went to see the used car manager at AutoNation Acura Stevencreek. I called to make an appointment at 1PM. The place looked deserted and empty. I went in the show room at 1PM to see either Henry or Chak per conversation over the phone. The person on the front desk took my information and walk into the manager office to let them know I was there, he said they’re in an emergency meeting. So I sat down in the showroom to wait. I looked in the manager office while they’re having the emergency meeting, wow, someone seems to be a big manager holding a baseball bat walking back and forth talking... couldn’t help thinking of these mafia movies.1:30hr went through, a salesperson felt sorry for me and asked me to come back, he took my name and phone number, it was on Friday. Never a call. To me, I was a general manager of a service company before, nothing is more important than customers, this place doesn’t seem to care about customers. I do take appointment seriously, this place doesn’t seem to care about appointments. AutoNation owns many dealers, I did go to AutoNation Honda of Fremont the next day, the people were customers oriented, very pleasant and efficient even in a busy day... Acura of Stevencreek and Honda of Fremont, the same company management, the same line of cars, one is empty dead and one is busy and exciting, I bet the manager at Honda of Fremont doesn’t carry a baseball bat... because the people under him like him and their customers.

After checking in to service, had to wait outside in the sun without anyone giving me anybinfo for 15 full minutes. Saw other customers who checked innafter me getting taken care of first. Ride service reduced from 10 miles to 5 miles, had to find and pay for my own ride to work which previousky wasnt an issue. Service rep will always try to upsell you.

CAUTION: DONT GET RIPPED OFF LIKE I DID!!!CHECK YELP REVIEWS!!!Brought my 2003 Acura cl 3.2 to have transmission serviced, and for them to investigate why my engine light has come on, because I already checked it, and it came up with the code P0740, transmission problem.I also added to change the engine oil.Kelsey called me to confirm what I had written, and asked if I wanted all the fluids changed. I told her no, but if any are low, to just top off. I just want to make sure I get the full transmission service.Kelsey called me 4 hrs later and started reading a list of things that they recommended being done to my car, radiator hoses $899, engine oil pump $1700, front brakes and rotors $776, spark plugs and valve adjustment $899 etc..... totaling $5700I asked how much is it right now with just the oil change and the transmission service, and what about the engine light. Kelsey told me I was at over $1200, + it would be an extra $190 to diagnose the engine light + $190perhr to fix.I told her I cant afford any more, and I will be in to pick it up.I came in to pick up, paid the $1241. Drove away in my car, and the engine light was off, until later when I left my work. I checked my transmission oil and it was just as brown and dirty as it ever was, then I checked my oil, and it was 3/4 overfilled. So then I took a closer look at my receipt, and realized that they changed my wipers$22, changed my steering fluid w/protection plan $46, same with brake oil w/ protection plan $22. An intake service kit w/ethanol corrosion inhibitor $80.There was an item called frigi-fresh $13, I had to Google that one, turns out that they sprayed something in my vents to get musky odors out.When I filled out the paper that morning, I also opted to receive an email, but none was ever sent.Now I know why, because there is no way in this world that my priorities would be so distorted as to have all these things done before my transmission was resolved.I told Carlos, the service manager, and Ray the General manager at different times, Carlos first, that I dont pay $190hr to have my wipers changed, or the multi-point inspection that they claim I requested, or fluid changes.They both told me ya you did, you already did, and that was what you requested.This is a fact, I did not request a multi-point inspection, or any of the useless items listed above!!!This is my opinion, Chances are that Kelsey makes some kind of commission, and the fact that I am a do it yourself type of person and they didnt see any future business from me, they could care less how they treated me. Because they know I could see right through their bullshit, and they just legally stole $1241 from me, and let me drive away with a car that is in no better condition than when I brought it in.It doesnt even take a real mechanic to do all the useless things they did to my car!!!From start to finish was 4hrs 7mins and the labor charge was $823.66 and they said I requested the complimentary car wash and vacuum. That is a LIE!!!I can just imagine how many innocent people get ripped off by this service department, and dont even have a clue.Ive worked on my own cars as long as Ive lived, torn motors down to nothing, but the transmission is very much more complex in the way it functions.I thought that they must get a lot of these problem transmissions all the time, and they might have a clue.I was only right about the first thought, because they did everything they could to avoid dealing with the problem at hand.THE TRANSMISSION.

Very bad user experience. The time to promise to complete the repair could not be done, and the simple question that was asked to be checked was actually negligent, and then asked to call again to make an appointment. Service Advisor and Manager are extremely arrogant and do not accept complaints. It may be that they have too many guests, and it is strongly recommended not to go to this place.
