I love everything about stater bros but the smell...especially as you move towards the butchers area. No joke since childhood the smell of rotting meat has never been removed from stater bros. Im not sure why or how it stays...but the smell is wretched. All other areas of the shopping experience is great though. Just stay away from the meat counter if you want to keep the inside of your stomach inside.

I love Stater Bros. Fresh produce and merchandise at the lowest price around. Service at the cashier is always very professional. What stroke me is, the lack of training at the bagging part. This young lady bags my produce almost every time I visit the store and every time I have to remind her what the cooler bag is for and for the most part she leaves produce out the bags rolling around the shopping cart. Its so frustrating! Can the good people of Stater Bros., do something about it?

Cheap and good quality. Dont doubt on taking their own Stater Brothers brand, itll make you aave lots of money and take the best of the products back home for you and your love ones.You can find a Stater Brothers in the city that ypu live in or any city that you go visit, theyre all over, sometimes more than one in the same city.And shout out to the bakery, which I think its one of the best pastries there is!!!

Best meat counters of any of the major chains.

The good news is for being a mainstream OC market or grocery store, (depending on where youre from), theyre open late. Well later than most that is, only to be trumped by the Ralphs on Chapman open until midnight. But Stater Brothers stays open till 11pm every night if the week!!!The bad news is that they recently got rid of the buy 4 or more bottles of wine 🍷 and you used to get 30% off the already well priced vino. So now theres no incentive to stock up.. boo!!!Anyhow the selection is not great and is frankly somewhat overpriced. However it is consistent and there are quite a few locations do you can generally find one less than 15 min away from wherever you might be.Overall Id give them about a 6&1/2 out of 10.... For food, prices and selection and a 9 out of 10 for wine selection, wine prices and staying open late....

Clearance rack in back always have great items...pharmacy stuff as well as canned goods at a great discounted price. Lines move very quickly. Courtesy and service.

This grocery shop is amazing! Everything you need was very easy to find. Affordable prices for all items, groceries, meats, and fresh produce. And also, this place is very conveniently located and the parking area is very spacious. All of the staff as well are always happy and willing to assist you.

Dont bother shopping here if youre a human being that needs access to restrooms. They have theirs locked down like Fort Knox and apparently only one employee can give you access, but that employee is in no hurry fulfill that role. God help you if you have any kind of urgency like IBS, elderly, pregnant, etc.

Okay so I bought a iTunes gift card and when I try to redeem it, It said that it hasn’t been activated properly.We went back to the store because normally when I get iTunes gift card I can redeem them fast.We went back after 24 hours and still no activation.The manger told me it’s best to call apple and I did.One of the supervisor told me that the gift card hasn’t even been registered and that this gift card could have been a scam or a fraud gift card.I really hate that because I normally buy my gift cards at this stater bros and it’s the first time this has happen to me.I just wanna know where they got the iTunes gift card and I would like a refund for all the trouble I have.I bought 2 gifts 10$ each and both don’t work.I would like a refund if anyone that works in this stater bros are reading this.

All the staff there are friendly and helpful. The cashier, Jesse was so incredibly fast ringing up my groceries, I couldnt put my items on the conveyor belt fast enough to keep up. Jesse and the gentleman bagging, finished within 3 minutes and I bought $350 worth of groceries! They were amazing!

Every employee is always willing to help out when needed, store is always clean, great selections through out, produce is good and the meat selection and department is unbeatable!

For an older store, this Staters is just fine for a grocery run. The employees are helpful. Typically the parking isnt an issue. They dont have a bakery like the big Staters on E. Chapman. They do have some baked goods, just not the selection at other stores. Still, its a fine grocery store.

Stater Bros has the BEST meat. No exception. Everything on the meat department is fresh, high quality and delicious. For Christmas, we always get a full prime rib, 7 bones or more. It cooks up great and we are always happy. Prices overall beat others stores as well. We used to shop elsewhere, but no more!

A lot of stores choose to leave cleaning items for the carts (most no longer even provide any) however, your store consistently has employees cleaning. They’re doing a great job at it too! I waited in my car and watched them cleaning in detail, taking carts from customers as they approached and even walked over to the handicap spot and took the customers cart so that person did not have to walk back to the front. Kudos to your 2 employees working this morning outside 9/20/20!

Decent grocery store. The prices are decent, and the hot food is always well stocked. My only issue with this store are the lack of self check out stations, but this grocery store is by far the closest and easiest for me to visit, so this issue is something I tend to overlook.

Well they rearrange the store again been shopping here for the majority of 45 years and I cant find squat. The parking lot is absolutely horrible.

Great everything. Finally can find everything. Parking better today. Went about 11:30 on a Saturday. Needed help with a product. Several people appeared. They were out, but a substitute was suggested. Just wish the store itself was a little larger

This store not as big, but same complete grocery needs as other big Stater Bros. - staffs here are very helpful, courteous & attentive to every customer. Big parking & clean, including the restrooms. Some items are moderately pricey, sale items are cheaper of course.

I like this place because the employees seem to care about the customers. And this Market has an Old Fashioned Hometown Market feeling. They still cut their own meat here. It is not like the supermarkets that are so large that you feel like nobody cares about you. They even have flowers and produce out on the front of the store and their sale prices are posted there. It is just a good place to shop for your groceries. I even ran into my neighbor in the grocery store! How often does that happen?

I shop there all the time... but I always feel like the checkup people look at me like Im going to steal stuff. Not there false I dont look like a normal shoper I think...

There is always a line no matter what time you go and they are a little pricey. They need to have more registers open when they see customers waiting. I must say the staff are really nice though.

Im vegan and I was able to find everything I needed to meal plan. Very satisfied and fully recommend if youre going for an organic lifestyle.

I had a wonderful experience here and do every time. It happens to be one of the closest grocery stores to my home. On this particular day they were extremely busy with only two cashiers. When called to duty store manager John nutting came to the rescue working cashier himself. I cant express how much I appreciate his assistance. I would recommend to anyone to come and have a wonderful shopping experience at the Stater Brothers.

The prices are food. Decent selection. Somewhat clean stocked store. Usually have an issue with cashiers there . They dont greet well . This last visit I had water under my cart. I looked straight at the cashier and said I have water under the cart. He didnt acknowledge or even look at me. I noticed they were putting my groceries in a bag. I asked if bags were free, the response was no and she told the cashier to deduct bag cost. Talk about not interacting or paying attention to the customer. I gave it a 3 star due to the store facility itself.

The butchers and staff are very courteous. All the employees here work very hard. The store is well kept as well. Sometimes the lines get really long but I usually shop for a little longer and they die down. Humans have a weird instinct where they ALL check out at once.

The only supermarket left without a club card which is awesome in my book. it has the best prices around with a good selection. The people that work here are friendly and courtious.

I love Stater Bros but my only complaint is they dont carry fresh herbs in their produce department. Why oh why??

Horrible the manager accused my girlfriend of stealing a bottle of vodka that wouldnt even fit in her purse because she set it down and because they didnt see that part they assumed she stole it they were staring at us before asking her what she did with it and just making us feel uncomfortable and thats the manager so I rate the store one star and a bad review the Managements doing that so I bet the whole team is horrible if hes leading by example
