I had not been in their store in awhile so I noticed that they had changed things around fot the better. Found what I was looking for at a good price. I will be back.

Huge store, very well organized. Better selection than most other BL stores. The staff team is really on top of their game. In some ways more than others, but they really go out of their way to make a win for the customer experience. The loss prevention tactics are a little much, because I walked out the door with a full throttle energy drink and I also walked in the door with it. The guy working the counter Brandon came out after me and said Sir, did you want me to ring up that beverage for you? 🤣 I told him that they dont even sell that type of drink. To make up for the mistake he gave us a discount. I was pleased and impressed for his CS skills for relating and understanding. Way to go. Great location

My wife and I came to this location to buy our new bedroom furniture. Christina was such an amazing help, she was attentive, knowledgeable, outstanding customer service. Seriously if you need furniture ask for Christina!! Amazing employee.

Holy huge location! This place was giant and had a ton of different options. They are very clean and have all the standard things youd expect to see at this chain. Summer items are on clearance right now, and youll find some fun beach things, so take a peek if you go soon.I love this chain for seasonal decor on the cheap, bathroom items, and misc. decor and toys for the little. They were clean and had everything in its place so it was easy to shop. They are mandating masks on entry and have plexi-glass up at registers to minimize contact.Overall: AGreat location with tons of merch. Clean and easy to shop.

Wanted to purchase 2 pots got off shelves signs said buy one get other 1/2 off. But cashier said no its not. Didnt get them then. Came home looked in paper said buy 2 get 1 but she didnt even tell me that. Not happy

The staff here is way above average... here now and they all said hello. Shelves are organized nice. Feels like I’m at A higher end store. Great for decorating a new apartment!

Its a usual big lots with cheap prices etc. A lot of furniture at this store. I guess thats a focus for them now. The big problem was a check out. Only one cashier on a weekend day in the middle of the afternoon. He had to enroll people in their loyalty program and deal with credit applications for furniture sales. Each transaction took over 20 minutes. We gave up and left without buying anything.

Hello, I recent purchased numerous furniture items from the Sanford location. I have to say I’m extremely disappointed in several experiences I’ve had with this specific location. I’m finally writing today because of the NEW sofa we recently bought and waited weeks for, it sliced my girlfriends arm open 4 days ago. After a trip to the ER I immediately called big lots to only be told our manager is on vacation and the furniture lead Louis would be in contact with us shortly. 4 days later I still hadn’t heard anything so I called them again. Nick their store manager answered and offered nothing except for another “I’ll get back to you”. After spending 7-10k in their location throughout the past month I’m about ready to get a uhaul and return every single piece of furniture I bought and take my business where it’s appreciated and valued.

Most of the staff is usually very nice, we could tell that the cashier was a little upset about my mothers accent when she was about to pay. I offered my mom a discount I had and the cashier refused to apply to her almost $200 bill, it was almost time to close the store, so we left without trying to go any further with the inconvenient, (I told my mom the cashier was probably tired). Please make sure you dont have discriminator people on your staff. The discount was perfect to be applied, she pretended she didnt understand, but we were speaking clear English, a kid would have understood.We love buying in BIG LOTS every week, we stopped going to this store even when we live in Sanford. Now we go to big lots Casselberry.

They need to hire people if they want to run a business. Every time I go in there its an egregious wait. Never any help on the floor and lines always backed up. Hire appropriately for your store traffic. After this last long wait, where I finally just left, I wont return.

Big Lots has changed over the years. Mostly furniture now. I did find unique and unusual dvds and bought some for gifts. Staff was friendly and helpful. Store was clean and organized.

They have revamped the whole store. Everything is fresh and new. Employees have it all neat and nice.new items etc.looks great!

The employees were nice and helpful. Plenty of register open so lines werent long. Definitely had there stuff together for the week leading up to Christmas. Only issue was alot of stuff didnt have prices on them but plenty of employees on the floor to help you find them out.

This place is great. I personally went to deliver some furniture. The young man in the receiving department was a great person with great customer service. He should go and train all the other stores to treat truck drivers as human beings.

I personally use BigLots to purchase random things like storage bins and containers. I also have found their deals on snacks and outdoor items to be excellent. Sign up for the rewards program and you get random 5 to $10 off coupons that are excellent also.

Big lots is good place for shopping.. I like the Sanford big lots which is clean looks new.. never go the Longwood Big lots.. the return policy is 30 days but I went couple of months later to return a defective product and there was no questions.. great customer service..

Very disappointed, I came to look for patio set and nightstand. I needed help in the furniture department. Their were so many employees stocking so I went to ask one for help they told me that they dont work in that department. They said they would call someone. I stood there for a while and no one came. So I asked someone else for help then someone finally came. I asked her about the night stand she said they dont have one. But I can put one on hold, and they would call me when it came in. But the following week I got no call.So I called and asked if it was in the person who answered the phone I asked her about my night stand she put me on hold. As I was on hold I got hung up on. Then I called back, they told me it was in, but no one called me to tell me. Very disappointed

Purchased a sectional sofa to be delivered this past Sunday and have nothing but great things to say. When the time slot for our delivery was past with no couch I called and spoke with Nick the manager, explained the situation and my frustration, he was empathetic and eager to help. He went out of his way got another delivery company to get our couch to us within an hour and paid the difference on the delivery for inconvenience. The incorrect ottoman was delivered and brought back. Yasenia called us and said Celique was on the way with the correct one. He came in his personal vehicle talk about service! He was apologetic over the situation, and we showed him one of the pieces was defective. He took pictures to show Nick, who wanted to provide us with excellent service was willing to do anything to keep us happy. We just wanted the couch. Celique personally delivered that sofa today. Our experience with Nick and Celique has been nothing less than top notch service, and we appreciate them! I would purchase future furniture without hesitation!!! Thank you so much!
