The purpose of my visit was for routine service, oil change. The service was prompt and our stay in the waiting room was pleasant. While waiting, we looked at the Equinox in the show room. Were hoping to replace our 2013 Grand Cherokee with an Equinox. Although there are two Chevrolet dealerships closer to us than Wilkinson, I plan to give Wilkinson the opportunity to help us with when we are ready to buy.

Everyone that I spoke to, that smiled at me, and completed the job were extra nice--even the gentleman that brought my keys to my home--out of town, after I forgot to get them when having to wait until the next day to pick it up. I dont normally make these kinds of posts but when you have an experience so great at the hands of a business that is so focused on customer satisfaction, you have to acknowledge it. If you are in the market for a nrw vehicle, or even just thinking about it, do yourself a favor and reach out to Chad Triplett or Dan Fitzpatrick at Wilkinson Chevrolet in Sanford. Its more than worth the trip.These guys worked 6 hours today on me... Going over every detail on vehicle to make sure I got exactly what I wanted, explored every avenue to get the price where I needed, and talked whole lot of baseball while working. I spoke with a sales person on Saturday July 3rd right before closing. The sales person took all my information down and said that the vehicle would be placed on hold for me until I could get there at 1pm on their following business day. Needless to say 30 minutes before my visit I get a call from that same salesperson stating the vehicle was sold. I am so upset with the lack of professionalism displayed. I already got my financing approval for that vehicle and the best they could say was Im sorry. Like sorry can fix anything. However, so happy I dodged the bullet early of dealing with people who wont honor their word.

The sales and service department are good. You have your typical sales people but are not too pushy. Service department, I have only had to bring it in for oil changes and they always do a good job.Now the body shop is a whole different story.We brought my daughters car in to fix the back bumper and they were amazing.!A few months later, after an accident with a deer, I bring in my vehicle, which was bought brand new from this dealership. Well after the 1st visit, there many discrepancies. Some were cosmetic but very easily distinguished, and some more serious were mechanical. After telling them, including the supervisor Mrs. Townsend, over and over again that some things were wrong, she kept saying it wasnt. We left but came back the very next day, talked to a different person from the service department and he was able to see all the the things that were wrong.They fixed it and after a few days, we got the vehicle back. Something still felt wrong, the check engine light came on. We took it to a different mechanic and he was able to fix it without the $96 diagnostic charge Wilkinson was going to charge. He notice that a pipe was not installed right and was rubbing against other parts of the engine. When we went back to Wilkinson to tell them about it, they didnt seem too thrilled, and could have been more professional.The mechanic looks at it, takes it back and I go to talk to Mra. Townsend to let her know I am not comfortable and confident in their work as this shouldve been fixed since day one. The only reason I keep bringing it back is because THEY messed it up and arent getting it right. I am not going to pay someone else to fix their work.Marci then proceeded to tell me that as it stands its functionalI said, maybe, but it will rub on other parts, potentially damaging them and it will cost us even more. I told her I did not trust their work ethic as it seems like they have been cutting corners. This is a family car and Im not feeling safe driving it.She says they were mistakes.I tell her they are not trustworthy and she gets an attitude, starts laughing, and walks away saying shell have them finish it and I can take my car elsewhere. Just because she doesnt like to hear and admit that this particular job is sub-par, she gets that hostile.I always recommended this dealership to anyone looking to buy or needed repairs but after this experience, Im sad to say I will no longer recommended or support this business. Its unfortunate that some of the front desk/managers lack the customer service skills. More than that, my biggest complaint really is that it seems all they care about is money and not the SAFETY of their customers.I still dont feel safe and will be taking it to a different more honest mechanic.

I highly recommend this place for any repairs or body work needed. The team at their collision center is AMAZING to say the least. My car needed a full quarter panel, back light, bumper, dents, paint job, etc and it looks like nothing ever happened. Their profesional skills and attention to detail is exceptional. Marcy Townsend went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of the whole time they had our car; she was very kind and answered all of my questions and concerns. When I first moved to North Carolina, I absolutely loved Wilkinson before they moved locations. Even though the collision center is a different entity my fiance had his truck nearly there for over a month with the wrong rim ordered and was told to park his truck a certain way so no one would notice. I recently took my car there for a check engine light. I was not in any rush to get my car back and asked for a detail even if it would take extra time. We were out of town Thursday-Sunday and was willing to pick it up later on in the week. We have extra cars at home to use.I paid my bill after the service department called my mother twice instead of mine. I dropped my car off on Thursday and by Friday afternoon it was ready for pickup. I told her I wasnt in any rush, but she told me they were short staffed and couldnt get to a detail and would have the courtesy wash instead. There was no option given to me to request a detail even to wait a couple days longer.Well, I am short staffed at my job too, but I never let that hinder the experience of the customer. At the end of the day, it is not my fault a business is short staffed.After reviewing my bill, I noticed I was charged for the diagnostic fee. From my experiences with dealerships in different cities/states, if the services were rendered at the dealership the diagnostic fee was waived.However, this was not the case. Ill switch my business to the GMC in Southern Pines with no problem. The professionalism has been lacking significantly. Unfortunately, I wish Wilkinson GMC was like the other GMC dealerships I have worked with. However, they are/will not be.

Over two weeks only to replace a bumper, intercooler, a few covers, and an aftermarket splitter. Wrong part ordered. After the vehicle was returned with missing parts and others wrong installed even when it came with instructions and hardware threw away. I am pretty sure they are going to fix the issue, but that’s my experience.

Came in on a Friday unsure if we were getting a truck or not, then met Nick A. He was friendly and his non pushy manner made the whole experience very pleasant. We negotiated a price that was good for us and decided to take the weekend to think on it. By Saturday morning the wife and I both agreed that the pleasant atmosphere made us want to stop shopping around and purchase from him. Wed both had pushy, even rude salesmen before. Not the case here. Nick did an outstanding job and his enthusiasm for the brand made the experience enjoyable. Great job Nick!The day after purchasing the truck (2020 Sierra SLT) I discovered an issue with the storage compartment. One email to Nick and they quickly called back to have me return so they could fix the issue. Great company to work with!

What an amazing dealership. I had an oil leak on my Pontiac G8 that I needed fixed. They quoted the best price for labor and parts around. Chris took care of everything and was in constant communication with me. They were able to provide a loner car so that I did not have to take a day off of work. If you’re wanting to ask about a salesman that actually cares about you 100% ask for Robert. Mr. Glenn will bend over backwards to make sure his customers are taken care of. Before I rate your performance, first I want to tell you about my experience on my service date. I traveled over an hour and a half to your dealership to find that you had relocated to a new location. I had spoke to two employees at Wilkinson the day before and the preceding week, neither employee passed on to me that they had recently moved to a new location. I actually had to google their new address and get directions. I however arrived just before my established appointment time. After we checked at the service desk we were shown where the customer lounge was and told they would come to get us when my vehicle was ready to go. We sat for approximately two hours, at this point I became concerned that something was wrong. I went back to the service desk to check, I was told that my vehicles service order still remained on the service desk. The service manager came up to advise that someone had failed to send this to the service area to have it assigned to a technician. I stated that we had waited for almost two hours we still had a hour and a half drive home. It was late at that time after 3:30 pm. I asked who was in charge the service manager got me in touch with a representative of the dealership, and I told him of my dilema. He soon returned and advised that someone had been careless and overlooked my vehicles service order, and immediately apologized. He further advised that I would be provided with a loaner vehicle. My wife and I drove home in the loaner, which I appreciated that they provided that. The following day I received a phone call from the service manager that my vehicle was ready to go, he advised that someone from the dealership would come to pick up my vehicle. I was glad for that. I am glad that I did get my vehicle repaired. I am not sure what is going on with their failure to get my vehicle in for repair after such a long time of being overlooked.

After shopping at 2 other dealerships, I accidentally drove by Wilkinson and decided to stop. The selection of trucks was excellent. The vehicles were open so that I could answer many of my own questions. Dan Fitzpatrick patiently help me find the vehicle I was looking for and gave me a reasonable out-the-door price in minutes. I did not waste time in the dealership and did not have to speak to sales managers. Dan was available by text and, on my second visit, the truck was clean and ready for a test drive. The dealership quickly gave me good value for my older trade in and the finance representative got me out the door quickly. I wasn’t really looking when I pulled up. I just wanted to see what you had on the lot. We were pre-approved with our bank we just need to find a vehicle. Lillington could never give me a date and didn’t keep me updated. The sale manager was outside and I asked a quick question. He said he would be happy to see what he could find. They had a LT Tahoe grey on the lot. My wife wanted a white one. This one was more equipped with what we did care of it had it or not. I explained what the Ford and other Chevy dealership did. They looked at their offers on my trade in. He explained that if he can put together a not knee jerk around proposal form us to look at the Tahoe on the lot . My wife came to look at the vehicle, we test drove they worked the number and we left with what we believe was the best choice and best dealership

This dealership is literally 20 minutes from me and let me tell you guys..they are phenomenal. Way above and beyond. Took my yukon in there for a oil change because hiester didnt apparently do one when they fixed my yukon. I love the shuttle service they have. When I went in there the atmospherenwas so warm and friendly. The service manager Justin took very good care of me and so did Abbey. The appt was worth the wait. It didnt take long for the oil change compared to come of these dealerships. I normally go to hendrick but didnt feel like driving an hour plus I am having surgery tomorrow. Will wilkinson has the greatest service department ever!! They gained another service customer.
