We did not have a great experience with the product we purchased, but overall I can say I would surely recommend this store to everyone. They are very friendly and does not rush or push you to buy. I found Mr. James Mason to be a great salesperson. He is very respectful, patient and friendly. I loved the thank you card he sent us in the mail. I felt it was very kind of him to take time to do that. If it was for him I would surely go back to that store. They have a great in store financing program. We was a little bothered by how other employees are not empowered to resolve when we try to call to get an answer or a solution. It took a few days. But I understand that it does not only depends on management it also depends on individual customer service skills and the ability to provide first time resolution.I am grateful to Mr Todd Hurley, Manager; who resolved the issue to satisfied our needs and expectations as a we recently moved to this city.I know that one bad experience does not determine the overall performance of a company. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share this.

I do not recommend this company at all. I ordered a dining room table and paid extra for delivery. They quoted a month out and we set up a delivery date. I agreed to everything and took leave from work for the day only for them to call me around noon saying it will be another week before they can deliver. Fast forward to the following week I had to take another day of leave and they still don’t know if they’re able to deliver the table today. No delivery fee refund, no communication and no customer service skills.

Thank you for your professionalism. my husband liked how Mr, Mason spoke to him like a person and not over his head as other sales representatives do in other places. Everyone here is very helpful and also patient. Tiara was very nice and also explained the paper work that she did for me. We are grateful that everyone wore a mask for our protection and theirs. It is too bad that not all customers appreciate this as seen in some of your reviews. We do !!!!! We will continue to come to you for future purchases.

Dont waste your time! After being referred to this store, my husband and I drove over 60 miles to be treated as if our money or our skin color was not welcomed. We were never greeted until we were leaving the store. If you want bad service please visit them.

Id give them a zero if I could. My wife and I went sofa shopping there yesterday and found a couple that we liked. We left the store with good intentions of coming back and went looking elsewhere for a good deal. Found the exact sofa elsewhere and got a price and then went back to Farmers to see if they could beat it. They came pretty close to the price so we decided to deal with Farmers only because the sales person was helpful and they offered a protection plan for 3 years. Well I filled out the account slip to finance the piece and save 15% and the sales person did some calculating and gave us a final otd price. The time came to go back to the finance person and she drops some number around $100 more than the sales person told us. My blood started boiling and I said I cant do that so we started to walk out. The sales person asked what was wrong and we told him the deal and he said he would have his manager look it over and give us a call, he was with other customers at that point. We never heard from Farmers after we walked out. Im no expert but I have the belief that you shouldnt let a customer walk out of the store in a situation like that. Final thought is dont deal with Farmers furniture. From the reviews here I can see Im not the only one who feels this way.

Been shopping with this company for over 6 years everything was good until my last purchase which was a deep freezer followed the instructions in the manual didnt put any Meats in there till the next day I left for the weekend came home and my meats were spoiled upon my return spoke to the store manager Todd and he said the only reason Im mad is because my meat went bad if I can give this place a 0 star I would what kind of customer service is this I will not recommend

This is the worst company I have ever been through I bought 2 twin adjustable bed frames one of them broke with the bed in the upright position one week after it was delivered took them two months to fix and I had to pay the repair man when my final payment was due they took out $75 to much out of my account and claim they cant put it back they said they sent me a check but I still havent received itDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL RIP. YOU OFF!!!!!

I went in for a kitchen table set, met with Candace, she was very helpful and professional. Ive been a customer here for years the furniture is not real good quality but what do you do when you have nowhere else to go. I did buy my kitchen table from them like a year ago and the legs are uneven and the chairs are uneven to the point where I had to take a piece of paper and put it up under the table leg to make it stable which is ridiculous I do remember when the guy brought it he tried to say that my floor was uneven when actually it was just the poor quality of the table. Unfortunately I didnt complain and still have the table but from now on I will be buying furniture elsewhere because you dont treat a customer like that who has been buying furniture from you for years you dont just give them anything

Oh boy! Where do I start?My wife and I purchased a particular sofa for my modular home. It was delivered by the Farmers delivery guys; real friendly and patient. After a day, I decided I didn’t like it because my feet couldn’t touch the floor. 😩 I called Pam, my sales person, and asked if I could switch out my sofa. She asked the store manager; he said it was fine. I went in and selected another sofa and matching recliner. The staff was very kind about the whole situation. The new furniture was delivered, but unfortunately it would not fit through the door. The store manager personally came to my house to assess the situation. He confirmed that there no way that it would fit through the door frame without ripping it. I then proceeded to reselect a different sofa. They say that 3’s a charm. This time we made certain that the back’s disconnected from the sofa. We hit a home run with the 3rd/final selection. Thankful the staff of Farmers Home Furniture was very patient with me. I’ll be back!!

Wow!!I have been shopping at the Sanford location for many years. Upon my most frequent visit, the atmosphere has changed so much since my last. I was overwhelmed with excitement from the sales staff upon entering the store. “Welcome to Farmers!!” They just seemed very happy. The customer service desk greeted me again as I walked up. Then the new Store Manager greeted me..lol. A lot of new items; and the store looked great!! Keep doing whatever you are doing!! Great job!!

Good sales reps.They were friendly and let us know of like items on clearance for better deals. However it wasnt without incidents. All came from one person at the service desk. My wife was extremely angered by the offensive behavior displayed by that one customer service rep who was processing our payment.Adding to the situation created by the uncouth service rep was a charge of $211 for a two year service plan we didnt ask for nor was told about. Once charged I went over the receipt asked my sales rep about the charges. We were quickly refunded by a different customer service rep with the assistance of our sales rep. Those two were very polite and willing to help. Because of that I didnt ask for a complete refund.We are looking forward to receiving the couch, loveseat, and recliner set to be delivered in six days.

I’ve been a Farmers customer since 2014. My situation was time sensitive so I asked to speak to the store manager. I am from Georgia; my daughter And grand daughter discreetly left an abusive situation and needed to start over from nothing. I explained that I am en route to your store needed immediate help to relocate my daughter and grand daughter. I needed to purchase a bedroom suit, living room suit and dining set to get my daughter relocated in a new home to start over. At first I didn’t share the details of the urgent situation. He explained that he would order the needed items and be able to deliver them as early as next Thursday. I told Him this is an urgent situation and my daughter needed everything by Monday. I explained the urgency of the situation. He was so apologetic to my daughters/grand daughters painful dilemma. He told me what ever I needed he would see that it was delivered on Monday. The sales person took the time with my daughter to pick out everything she needed to setup a new home. The new living arrangements are 60 miles from the store; he didn’t charge extra for the delivery. Once the merchandise arrived everything fit except for the long sofa. I called the store manager to let him know the sofa would not fit. He allowed me to exchange the sofa for the loveseat; they went back 60 miles picked up the loveseat then brought the loveseat right back. I’ll never forget how they made this happen. Thank you!!!

I bought a chest of drawers on March 13th 2020. It came on the truck damaged. The next Wednesday was supposed to have the chest and I was told that it was there and it would be delivered on the 28th and then I call because it didnt come and they said it didnt come in and dont know why. Thats not the first my weedeater messed up a few years ago and it took a year to replace. My recliner messed up and they finally came out to look at it February 14th and the 28th they brought the part. Now I have wait until the can come put the part on. I am getting my money back from the chest and going somewhere else. I am done with them. One one the delivery drivers had a really bad attitude and his pants was down around his butt and his shirt was pulled up and you could see his underwear. Thats really bad representation of the company and he was really rude.

Farmers home furniture is an excellent store! I have nothing but praise for the entire staff. They are very helpful and always greet you with a smile. We moved here three years ago, and in need of a new bed went to a local competitor first, the people at their store were rude, unorganized and not at all helpful. I got upset at being treated so badly and left their store and came to Farmers Home Furniture, I can actually say that I’m glad the other store made me mad because it led me to find Farmers. Not only the employees are better, but the quality of furniture it far superior to the other place. Every time I come in I find something I would like to buy. Give them a try, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

The prices are decent.. the customer service however is ABSOLUTELY horrible. the girls that work at the desk in there, maria to be exact, are so rude. no manners, their not friendly. we waited a week to have our table delivered. I had somewhere to go and I missed them by an hour, and they told me now I have to wait until next saturday. literally just like that. the delivery people left a rude voicemail on my husbands phone. once I get my table i will not be returning to this location.

The furniture we received is excellent quality. However, the customer service is the absolute worst of any furniture store. The staff refuses to negotiate on prices or even cut you a deal if youre purchasing an in-store display. We spent over $3,300 cash in full for a new couch, king bed and mattress and they refused to give us any kind of deal even though we paid for everything in full at the time of purchase. The manager also refused to honor their current sales flyer at our time of purchase. Will NOT be doing business with them again.

This store is TERRIBLE. First off the chick that answers the phone is dumb as a rock. I told her my last name and she pulled something out her butt that was no where near my name. she has done this probably five times. Second the manager lies. Told me herself I was gonna get my bed Wednesday. So I made no plans. Wednesday comes to an end. I called and she says they dont deliver Wednesday. Why in gods name would you tell me that? So basically dont order from them.

This is by far the worst experience I have EVER had. The people at the front were rude, and did not do their jobs well. I placed an order on Saturday, they told me that it would be ready on Wednesday by noon. My husband and I went to pick it up that Wednesday both leaving work early to pick up the couch. We got there and apparently, they forgot to order it. So then they told us to come back next wednesday. We went next Wednesday and they said that they thought we already got our couch. After we explained to them that we didnt, the manager said they would deliver it In an hour, 3 hours later still nothing so I called the boss, and she was rude, condescending and said that they were already at my house. So finally, the couch got here and the couch was the one from the display, it wasnt even a new one like they said. Anyway, just thought I would share my experience hoping that it wont happen to anyone.

In regards to Matthew Lambert’s review, our sales person did not give the OTD price, he gave the 15% off price before taxes. Any service plans, fabric protection and insurances, which are optional, can only be calculated at the time of checkout. I tried calling and his wife said he wasnt available. The furniture I would say is good quality, I should have shopped more cuz after purchase I found better deals for the same price I paid. The lady I worked with at the store was very nice! They delivered when they said they would but forgot the hardware, so bed set was just in pieces for a full week. They also forgot to bring the 90 dollar mattress protector and the complimentary pillows. They said oh yes I see your stuff here we can bring it out to you in two weeks when our hardware comes in. So after haggling with them to get the hardware sooner so I can put my room back together. they said they could do a week and that is today. They put the bed together but still forgot the other two items, I call they said they are out of them gotta wait till their next shipment. So was I lied to or was my stuff given away? Then they just say well sorry nothing to do about it they could at least try to do something for the huge inconvenience. They left a huge mess also on the initial deliveryDefinitely wont be buying from them anymore, I wish I could return my items and buy from someone else. I will also try to talk anybody out of buying from farmers, two stars cuz the seller lady was nice and the furniture is nice

In April I purchased a mattress and a living room suit. They didnt have the mattress in stock and it took about two weeks before I got it. It is easy to get the credit I need whenever I need furniture and in comparison to Badcock and Dossenbachs the prices are cheaper.

Terrible customer service. As another review mentioned workers do walk and sit around on their phones, they can take quite awhile to get to you. I financed a mattress set through them. About middle of April the box spring broke. I spoke to the manager and she was more than happy to replace it. Okay great! Days go by and no phone call, so I call her. I was then told paperwork needed to be done and she sent someone out. He came and said indeed it needed to be replaced. Ultimately there was this whole ordeal about having delivery dates, but no delivery, product in the store and then it not being there, said phone calls but no voicemails or missed calls on my end regarding these deliveries. In between all of this I came in and spoke to the manager about options for a bedroom set, I called a few days later and said more payments isnt a route I wanted to take and would check back at another date. Somehow a contract without my consent or signature was drawn up and they tried to delivery the set! Quick to sale, but so slow to replace merchandise. I was pleasant up until I was told it was being delivered and well theres a contract.. No the hell there isnt without my signature!! I asked for corporates number, she apologized and tried to make it right. The contract they took upon themselves to make was cancelled and she was going to get me a boxspring. I googled corporates number myself, both people I spoke to were wonderful. I had a temporary box spring that day, and the matching one was delivered about a week or so later! Furniture quality is the about the same as Aarons which is nice, if you need to finance you have to make a decision of whether you want decent customer service and double interest (Aarons) or sucky customer service and reasonable interest. A plus for farmers is lower payments as well. I saved corporates number for Farmers and will continue to do business there as long as corporate continues to stay awesome! Hopefully some staff will eventually be replaced and they make the store better.

Worst customer service ever! I walked in looking for a bed and for 20 mins nobody even said hello or attempt to help. I walked to the sales desk and still nobody greeted me some employees were siting on the couch playing with their cells others just doing nothing . I asked id somebody could come help me and reluctantly a young lady did. When it was time for my delivery they stated they couldnt give me a call to let me know when the delivery drivers were coming...................then when they called me back the stated the bed was damaged and they couldnt make the delivery.........I called several times during the week and nobody called me back. I called saturday at 2 ad the store manager said she called me twice this morning on my cell i checked my cell logs and not one missed call and when i asked her what number they had on file for me she stated she doesnt know my number. This is the worst customer service Ive experienced Period!
