I had a great experience shopping for glasses here! Kyla was amazing at narrowing down the selection to frames that were a good fit for my face and my style. I never knew a pair of glasses could make me feel so good! And the glasses are excellent quality and fit perfectly. Excellent customer service all around. :)

Kyla was absolutely five star each time I went in from the first visit to the last. She was so professional and friendly, and very experienced when making sure my glasses fit properly and the Rx was correct. She is awesome. Dr. David made sure my Rx was right and took time to make sure all the bases were covered for distance and reading. He said during my exam that he knew exactly what I needed, and he sure did. I highly recommend Urban Optics if you want professional and caring people to take care of your vision needs. I couldnt be happier.

I like high quality eye wear and Doctors who are more interested in being meticulous than banging out patients. You get both here. I like to wear contacts but have had other eye doctors play the blame the patient game...youre getting older, contacts wont work so well for you now. Well Dr. Dave gave me perfect vision and comfort with contacts on the very first try in spite of me being 52 years old. I also purchased a pair of glasses from him and his office had a nice selection of made in Italy and made in Japan frames. (Other offices offer made in China)

I had been having vision issues for several months and it was starting to cause bad migraines so I finally decided to make an appointment to get my eyes checked. Most places I called couldnt get me in until late January, but Urban Optics got me in right away. Their kind staff was amazing and made me feel so comfortable upon arrival, especially with all of the Covid precaution they are taking. I felt safe and everything was done with great care. They took great measures to sanitize throughout the exam process as well as trying on frames and lens measurements. I have gone from new patient to client for life.

This office has consistently been there for me in times of need (even when Ive been late to schedule my annual exams). Im incredibly grateful for them and will continue to recommend them to my family and friends for their prompt, kind service. . . and lets be honest - the best selection of frames in town.

Dr. Schultz is really awesome! Super down to earth and easy going. Appointments were on time and the rest of the staff is just as cool. The vibe there is great. Always great music playing and a comfortable waiting area with snacks and drinks. They have a good selection of glasses with a lot of local options which is always great.10 out of 10 would recommend, bro.

Due to COVID-19, I rescheduled my eye apt quite a few times. Urban Optics reached out to confirm the apt each time and were always patient with me if I needed to reschedule (again). When I made it to my apt, I could not have felt more comfortable. You can tell that they hold the health of their patients and staff as their highest priority. Dr Schultz did a great job of answering all my questions and informing me throughout the apt. I would recommend Urban Optics to anyone.

I came to Urban optics looking for somebody who could fill a prescription with some hep frames that Costco could not fill. Not only were they able to fill the prescription for those frames, but also they were able to give me a special tint for my lenses. Im very happy with their services.

It was a great experience, it was my first time going. The doctor takes his time explain any questions you ask him. I also liked how I got to see pictures of the inside of my eyes. The exams are quick and fun. For the glasses there was a great variety of styles and very modern styles. I love the style I choose. Another thing the girls in the front are friendly and patient with clients while choosing your pair of new glasses.

Since moving to San Luis Obispo, California, two years age, I had not had a proper eye exam. My wife recommended Urban Optics, as she loves the glasses she acquired there a while back. My eye exam with Dr. David Schultz on 8/27/15 was very thorough. He works with very modern computerized diagnostic instruments. He is friendly, engaging and explains every portion of the exam. He is very patient and knowledgeable in answering questions. His office staff is welcoming, and his waiting area provides great coffee and ample reading. There was absolutely no pressure to buy new frames/glasses irrespective of the outcome of my visual assessment. My wife had an eye exam on the same date and required new lenses for her existing comfortable frames. I, on the other hand, can continue wearing my current prescription glasses, even though I am tempted by some of the hand-made Austrian frames on offer. Urban Optics is reasonably priced, and I can recommend Dr. Schultz and his team without any reservations whatsoever.

I needed a new eye doctor and upon reading the reviews I thought I would give Dr. Schultz a try. I wasnt disappointed. He thoroughly explained the exam and I left feeling like I got the best care possible. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a great overall experience.

Such a hip place and the knowledge to go right along with it. Dr. Schultz has had to treat several eye issues for me and all have healed up beautifully. I have a lot of confidence in his medical ability because of this I will not go to any other eye Dr. in this area.The staff is so accomodating and environment of the lobby is so comfortable, it is a pleasure to come to this business!
