I love shopping here. The produce, seafood and meat counters are fresh. I buy most of my fish here and prepare it same day. Always fresh!

I mean, it has everything youre looking for in a Chinese supermarket besides a deli area. Youll have to scout for the hot deals. But overall, an enjoyable, reasonably priced, and easy experience. Some times, the cheaper things are coming to expiry so youll needa look out for that.

I enjoy preparing the bamboo shoots that are sold @ this market.

This market had the foods I came for but it can use a good cleaning.

I was able to find a coffee that Ive been looking for and at a great price.

Ive been to a lot of markets in the Bay Area and this one is really cluttered but prices are nice and have a lot of yummy snacks and special ingredients

The store was relatively empty, clean and well stocked. They offer a variety of fruit, vegetables on sale as well as selected merchandise. You can buy meat, poultry, fresh fruit and vegetables. A good variety of swimming fish, clams. They also offer to fry your fish you purchased there free of charge. Cashiers were polite and friendly, a pleasant experience.

Love getting fresh live crab from here.

We heard about this place from some of my friend, and they said this place have more veggies and fruit fresh and cheaper than other supermarket so we want to go, but not cheaper and fresh compared to other supermarket around, usually on weekends items should be fresh cause most customers go for food, but this place was not

An incredible variety of vegetables, seafood, and meat. They stock live seafood as well.

Some pricing can be worth it but then some May not so you gotta choose carefully. I do like the seafood here and the veggies. Mushrooms are always good here and they have bettle-nut as well. If your from the islands and want to chew it’s here. They also have lime in the isles.

We used to go here after church and Delia would buy her Asian food there to cook.

I was pleasantly surprised. Very hardworking staff. Many tropical food varieties. I was disappointed that many people in the store could not speak English. They need to make sure theres always someone who speaks English to assist customers without much ceremony.

Dirty. When were the floors swept last?

You want to feel the burn in the morning they got all the spicy noodles 😅

Pros are that its close to me & the produce is very reasonably priced. Better bring cash if you want only a few items though, as they have a minimum for card purchases (dont think its okay to do that).

Rude customer service. I asked for help to get a package of tea on top of an aisle beyond my arm reach when having my products processed to pay. The cashier proceeded to pressure me to pay for my items right away because the additional employee had yet to arrive even after I insisted upon waiting. I paid for my items & then received help to get the tea package. When it came time to pay for the tea package, the cashier made me get an additional item in order to pay with card. Impatient customer service from that cashier. My experience with this store would not have been as poor as it was if the cashier had waited literally 30 more seconds. Highly recommend going to another Asian grocery store to avoid frustrating interactions with staff.

Not too big, but not too small. Prices are cheaper than other Asian supermarket

If you want anything for Asian cooking, this is the place. BUT, they dont have anything for any other types of food. Needed cheese for tacos. Had 1 package of American slices. Needed hot dog buns, nothing. Have to drive 2 miles to Pac & Save to get everything I need when I have 2 Asian grocery stores within a few blocks from my house.

I visited this market many times. In the beginning they were clean and organized. However, now the aisles are full of clutter and the shelves are in disarray. Hardly able to get some help around the store.

Good shopping experience! I felt like I was in a market while I was visiting Chinatown. Prices are good and selection was great! They have a great variety of meats, seafood, groceries, dry goods, and produce. There was no need to head to Chinatown Oakland. Parking was good. It was a good trip because we could also stop for lunch at the great Chinese restaurant at the same plaza!

First time at this market. Found what I needed... fresh rice noodles, Maggi sauce from Switzerland, & 3 crabs fish sauce. Lines were long for a Sunday morning, however the cashier was super friendly & efficient! Parking lot was a bit hectic. Will return.

This Chinese, South Eastern Asian market was around for a long time with usual characteristics like cheaper prices and carrying many varieties of goods. But posting shop lifters photos by the entrance was the first for me. And I understand why.

Bought 4 hot pot mixes and 1 bag of chips. Noticed at home everything was expired. Went back to return everything. They were checking the expiration dates so closely..like i was trying to cheat them.. . Not gonna come back here.

Some good deals, I came for those Chinese veggies and some coconut milk and pandan extract. Seems like it has the usual Asian supermarket stock, large produce containers outside, a butcher in the back, and lots of rice brands.

The selection of food products do not vary. They do not need more customers. They need to take more time to replace their produce. Make sure all prices are listed and clear. The cashiers need to make more effort to earn customer trusts.

Excellent selection of products that can be hard or impossible to find at many traditional American markets, from plaintains and Chinese teas to live catfish and lobster.

The lady cashier was rude. No hello and no good byes. This is definitely not that kind of store. I had to spend $5.00 in order to use my atm card while feeling rushed the whole time. The price on persimmons was so reasonable than I thought that I thought I had at least 6 or $7.00 worth. I just happen to be in the neighborhood but I definitely wont be back again until they work on their CUSTOMER SERVICE and prejudices. My money was just ad green as the next customers.

I spent the whole day going from store to store, trying to find all the ingredients for a particular Japanese meal. This was the only place that had everything in one place. If I went here first, I would have been done early! 😭

Everything is reasonably cheap in comparison to Chinatown mibus the drive if you live in San Leandro area. Ppl are pleasant. Parking reasonable. Smells like people smoking outside is the only things bother me. Bring your own bag.

I like this market for the variety of fresh fruit, products, n fresh fish n meat they have.. my only one dislike is their prices goes up with in the same day in the same pallet of fruit like mango n coconut.. feel like I got cheated..

I really like shopping in the 88 market, its close to home and prices are decent.Great variety on asian goods.Only problem I have encounter is that if you need help finding something you might be out of luck, a few times I asked workers to help me find an item and the language barrier hit me on the face each and everytime 😩

The shopping spot for fresh meats, vegetables, fruits, boxed pastries, and oriental/islanders cuisine are plentiful and fresh!!! Easy location but the parking is limited...there are resturants, salons, and shops of intetest! There are couple of banks across the street and pizza parlor, regular grocery store, and a Post Office surrounds this wonderful shopping place! You can get four (4) different sweet potatoes, fresh appkes, oranges, mangoes, watermelons, seasonal fruits and vegetables. They have Asian vegetables, fruits, meats, and vegetables...sweets, cookies, and snacks are availabe down isles with ample space and shelfs that are constantly being replentish but no twin dagon cookies are available!!! Cashiers are polite, fast, and inquires any help or assistence for your needs..Yes, and they speak English very well!!! They store is clean, no unpleasant smell, or unsightly things to look at and wonder!!! Very pleasant experience there and you might catch glimpse of my presence there...Nice place to shop!!!

I Went their with my family today, one thing I noticed was they are over priced, over priced, over priced! Oh man, I ve never had issues with grocery store In general, but this I just simply bought some Asian snacks as same as I usually have in other places(99 Ranch, Food Net, and Marina plaza....).Items I bought:•Three bags of waffer: Costs me $4/each, other stores only $2!•A bag of roasted peanut: $5/each, and other stores only cost ~$3!Definitely not recommend this to anyone.
