Looked for a pre-owned mattress or other options to fit our budget (alas, none that met our needs, so we went with original recommendation). Very clear about warranty, return policy, etc. Delivery was great. Was given a two hour window the day before, then got a phone call 15 min before they arrived. Bought a great mattress that is very Lux and comfortable.

Samantha (Sam) was fantastic. Completely attentive and personable. Not pushy, but just the opposite - works with you to get a great deal, for your budget. I had every intention of purchasing a good quality mattress. very disappointed with the purchasing policy. I had to fully pay for the mattress ($ 4000) to be on a waiting list and receive in 6 weeks. A reasonable deposit would have been more appropriate. They lost a clientele who had a good budget for a mattress. I must point out that we had good service in the description of the different mattresses.

We told Colby what we were looking for and our price range, and he showed us some very good options within that price range. He didnt try to oversell, and he was clear about delivery expectations, which I appreciated. The whole experience was very smooth.

Melissa Fisher, Stevens Creek in San Jose, CA was outstanding, knowledgeable and helped me a great deal. My 20 year old mattress was an extra firm. I wanted that but learned from Melissa about how mattresses are different now and after her recommendations, I tried several mattresses insisting that I want firm. Turns out that due to new mattresses being constructed differently, I was surprised to discover I needed a soft bed which was far more supportive for my bad back yet soft enough for my shoulder and hips when laying on my side. If I had just ordered a mattress online without Melissas expertise, I woul have made a bad mistake. I was in the store and had a beautiful, high quality mattress with a headboard, frame, base, everything for my entire bed. She worked in my precise price range that I could afford and not once did she try to sell me stuff I just couldnt afford. I was home from start to finish in under 45 minutes!!! This was my first time in a mattress store and I did not expect trying out mattresses, especially during covid, was going to be so easy. They have precautions set up such and sanitizer at the door, pillow covers that you keep on hand while trying the beds, and shoe covers for the bottom of the bed to make sure they stay as clean and sanitized as possible. I walked in yesterday hoping to browse around but didn’t expect to walk out buying a mattress. We were made very comfortable with the selection of beds they had to offer and they accommodated to our price range and luckily we found a bed we liked and are getting it delivered this Wednesday.

He made the experience for my mother comfortable funny and informational, the store looked and smelled cleaned. I recently got my warranty claim approved for a defective bed that I bought about 5 years ago (under Sleep Train). During the warranty process (given SIP and shift in their operations), I almost gave up and was going to go to another company because my experience with their Customer Service wasnt great (multiple emails with conflicting information, confusing terms, expiration date changes).Anyways, I decided to go just to see my options and was kindly greeted by one of the managers (Nika). The store was empty and each bed was labeled with a sanitation sign. I explained my situation, my budget, and what I was looking for given my sleep position and back issues. She was very knowledgeable and presented options that fit what I wanted.To my surprise, I ended up finding a mattress that I loved (that so happened to be on clearance). She explained how clearance impacted my warranty and why the bed was discounted.During the ordering process, she asked questions about my bed setup and support, presented options for mattress protectors given my budget. I never felt pressured to buy something beyond what I wanted and felt like she really listened to me (something must sales people dont do).I ended up with a great deal and really excited about my purchase. Cant wait for my new bed to arrive and to finally get a good nights sleep.Mattress Firm avoided receiving a really negative review. Thank goodness they hire some great quality, knowledgeable sales people in their store.

Initially I had the poor experience of my mattress being backordered by a week and not being notified until I reached doubt to the company via online chat, however the respresentatives were vere helpful and apologetic. When I did receive my mattress, the deliver personnel was friendly and masked, which I greatly appreciated. In my unfortunate decision making I had ordered a mattress too small for my new bed frame. I spoke directly with employees at the Santa Clara location. They not only matched my sale price which was close to $200 cheaper than the current price, but they were professional and friendly. We got off on the wrong foot, but thank you so much for making up for it with the the great customer service afterwards. All the more reason to purchase in person than online 😊

Decent selection of Temprapedic and Purple mattresses. They are firm with their pricing, so theres no room for negotiation, so for mattresses like Purple, theres no difference in price from websites. One of the agents assisting is quite rude the moment I mentioned that we are going to shop around and come back later.

I needed a new bed, and decided to try Sleep Train since they do a lot for foster youth in California which is a passion of mine helping foster youth so since their values were similar to mine I wanted to check them out. I did not know what to expect when coming in. All I knew was I needed a new bed, and I wanted a queen size bed. When I entered the store I was immediately met by Pablo. He asked questions to determine what I wanted, and to find the right bed for me. I never knew that beds were similar to pillows, and that certain beds were better for side sleepers or back sleepers. Once he determined what type of bed what be best for my sleeping style he had me try different mattresses that fit my sleeping style to find one that was the most comfortable for me. After finding the right mattress for me we discussed the accessories that I would need for the mattress. Although, I have a second job where I can buy mattresses, and get an employee discount to reduce the cost of the mattress I decided to buy the mattress from Sleep Train. The service from Pablo was that good. They delivered the mattress on the day it was scheduled to be delivered a little earlier than expected. They removed my old mattress for me, and set the new one up. They ensured that I knew everything about my mattress before leaving. The whole experience from buying to delivering to set up was excellant. Even though I was informed that it may take up to a month for the mattress to feel comfortable out of the box I have loved my new mattress that I have had for a few weeks now from day 1 in fact I am currently writing this review from my bed. You cant go wrong buying a mattress from Sleep Train. Sleep Train is truly a ticket to a better nights sleep.
