This was the best moving decision we made. The nesting crates are sturdy and the specially designed dolly make things very easy if you are going to make interim trips back-and-forth to your new place and old place. When we decided to sell our home and move across the country, we learned that we would need to not only pack a large house with a lot of stuff, but we needed to pack most of it well before our move so that the house would be attractive to potential buyers. Great green solution for storing our household contents during a remodel. We used these for delicate framed photos, clothing, shoes and bulky bedding. They were awesome! Delivered on two wheeled carts and once full they stacked nicely and were water tight. Highly recommend this solution for storing or moving your contents. I have used these for an office move, and using them for residential needs makes so much sense!

I wanted to find a more environmentally-friendly way to move that was also financially reasonable and that is exactly what I found with A Smart Move. My husband and I rented the 2-bedroom package, along with two additional smaller gray boxes, 2 wardrobe boxes, and we added the dry-cleaning bag to hold our sheets & pillows. I was so happy with everything - from the drop off service, to how easy it was to pack the boxes, how convenient it was to stack them. Even our movers LOVED that we had these boxes because it made their job easier - they could stack boxes on top of one another regardless of the contents. It also sped up our move which saved us money on the movers since they charge hourly. At the end of the move, we didnt have to deal with a bunch of cardboard boxes and tape. We just stacked the empty boxes on the dollies and waited for the team from A Smart Move to come and pick them back up. Would definitely use again in a heartbeat - I just dont plan on moving again anytime soon :)

Ive used A SMART MOVE for my last two moves and Ill never go back to traditional boxes again. In the past, Ive spent a lot of money on packing supplies (boxes, tape, etc.) only to turn around and recycle everything immediately after the move. It was wasteful. THIS is the better solution! A SMART MOVE delivers reusable plastic bins to your door, up to one week prior to your move. You have a total of 7 days to pack // unpack before the bins are picked up. They even come with dollies making it easy to stack and transport your belongings. The timeline helped me to unpack quickly (I dont know about you, but Ive been known to wait up to a year to unpack the last few boxes in the corner of a room... just sayin ;-). The bins come with cable ties and dry erase markers to label the outside. My movers knew exactly where to unload. Nice touch!Final note - Lindsay Curtis from A SMART MOVE in San Diego is the best! No buying stacks of cardboard boxes, folding, taping, loading, taping, moving, untaping. breaking down and disposing of however many boxes. I was referred to A-Smart-Move by a friend who swears that I’ll never move again in any other way after trying it, and she was so right! The idea is brilliant and made the move countless miles easier than it would have been. Instead of dealing with the timely and frustrating task of taping up collapsed boxes, and the not so reliable stability of cardboard boxes that sometimes tear or get punctured, these are incredibly strong and resilient. This was our second time using A Smart Move green boxes in the last few years! They are 💯 worth it! It makes packing SO much easier and they are so sturdy there’s nothing to worry about moving and stacking them! I’d definitely recommend an additional dolly they are so helpful. We’ve had a large studio/1 bed units and would recommend the 25 box package (or maybe 35 if you have any storage units/closets), at least 2 dollies, at least 2 wardrobe boxes, and found the grey smaller boxes really nice for delicate or heavy smaller items. Delivery and pickup was so easy and convenient!

I own a local moving company in San Diego, we offer traditional packing services for our clients. There are times when our clients prefer to self pack their own belongings and in these situations we refer our clients to A Smart Move packing bins company. Lindsay is a wonderful person and has out of this world customer service. A Smart Move provides sanitized packing bins with roller carts at a very reasonable cost with delivery and pick-up options. For self packing jobs. They are Great!

Everything about Smart Move was great (except they forgot about our boxes day of). Customer service made up for it (they work really late) and brought them to us immediately after we called. Then gave us an extra pickup day. Boxes were especially suited for our china cabinet, books, and dishes. We got 50 boxes for a 3.5 bedroom and our moving company, Packing Bees (also awesome), ended up supplementing wardrobe boxes and ~15 additional cardboard boxes.

The bins from smart move were extremely helpful. Wonder why we did not know about this before - a big improvement. Packing, unpacking, loading, unloading, all much easier, quicker, and better contents protection. It is much more organized and neater with no trash to throw at at the end. A Smart Move made my moving experience so much less stressful starting with the online ordering and payment to the delivery and pickup of the boxes. I ordered additional trolleys which made the packing and movement of my belongings so much easier. I could pack one box and then stack on another and so on at the same time once the boxes were packed I could easily move them out of the way until we were ready to move. Once the truck arrived all we had to do was wheel out the boxes and it was so easy!

This is a great business concept. My second time using this company. The totes are very easy to store, load and return. Much faster to pack than boxes. No taping boxes, box building or trash. They offer many other helpful items, like large laundry bags for bedding, plastic wardrobe boxes, mattress bags, and more. I worked with German for delivery and pickup. Very easy process via text and pictures, he was very responsive. I was finished with the items before the 7 day rental period and wanted them picked up early. I let him know a day before and he came the next morning. I will definitely use this company for my future moves.

This is my second time using A Smart Move packing boxes for a move. They are awesome at communicating and it is via text (which I love). They pick up and drop off boxes in a short window so you aren’t stuck waiting for hours. I moved just myself the first time and had 25 boxes. The second move was two adults and one kiddo and I got 35 boxes. I wish I had gotten a few more but probably 40 boxes would have been perfect. I ended up unpacking a few at the new place and bringing them back over to pack the last of my move. Highly recommend this company. No wasted paper products, no dealing with getting rid of a ton of boxes and wrap and Tape after the move!

I HATE moving BUT having the crates from A Smart Move made a HUGE difference! We just moved our offices and having these crates made my job so much easier. I didnt have to build boxes, break down boxes or figure out what to do with them after. Everything was uniform in size and the dollies made moving them so easy. When I ran out of boxes (always more junk than you think!) I was able to call and get more delivered right away and I didnt have to slow down.The color made them really easy to spot so I knew what needed to still be unpacked. Having the removable labels come with the crates saved me from having to get one more thing. Both the owner and her delivery person were super nice and provided great customer service.I still dont like to move but if (and when) I have to move the next time Im definitely using A Smart Move for crates!

Super hassle-free, and the boxes were sturdy and easy to use. Sebastian and German were very friendly and helpful, and Lindsay helped me make changes quickly over the phone as well.

I would highly recommend A Smart Move for your next move. We moved from Orange County California to Vista. The boxes were delivered and picked up right on schedule. And packing was so easy without having to assemble cardboard boxes and then tear them down and find a place to store them. I think the costs is very reasonable for the convenience and service provided. Its definitely the Smart thing to do!

I used Smart Move for a small 1-bedroom move. Bin drop off and pick up was easy. Because bins are all the same size and rigid they were easy to stack and keep organized during the move itself.I will definitely be using Smart Move in the future, and highly recommend them to friends. Although the upfront cost may seem like more than using cardboard boxes, these bins are reusable and I didnt have to deal with breaking down and disposing of boxes after my move. Plus, I unpacked everything within a week of moving so I could return the bins. That was priceless!

I never used a reusable box service like this before and I loved it! The drop off and pick up is great. The boxes are sturdy, easy to use. I love that it’s environmentally friendly. They had great customer service. They had a great price that was better that the other places when i shopped around! I would definitely recommend.

A great way to make moving a little easier. Box delivery and pick up is really convenient. Since the boxes self close, you save time on taping as well. I was very happy with the company communication and the boxes were in great shape.

The smart move folks were absolutely fantastic they delivered on time super professional and followed up. I love the fact they send you text reminders which is incredibly helpful especially when you’re trying to conquer a move. I would highly recommend this business to anyone!!

Out family moved last minute and I was able to schedule a pick up and drop off of the boxes that was convenient for my schedule. They let me know by text message when they were on their way and even provided pictures upon drop off. The boxes were very sturdy and were easy to move around the house by the rolling dollies they provide to you. I appreciated the complimentary sticker labels and zip ties provided to us as well. It helped with organizing the boxes ahead of time. On the day of the move even our moving guys complimented me on the choice to use these eco friendly boxes over cardboard ones.
