More than 2 months waiting, 4 trips to the store and for what? To get this kind of work and yes a big invoice $450.They screwed up big time, but they want their money.THEY FORGOT THE TUNE UP PARTS.I complained to the manager and i was told it takes special, especialized technicians to do this jobs..do you think this is a professional job???

Couldnt fix my lawnmower. Held it for 6 months. It was running when I took it there, now it wont start. They even got 50 bucks out of me. Bad service all around. DO NOT TAKE YOUR EQUIPMENT HERE!

Called and spoke with Kevin about buying a tractor with mower and chem sprayer, told him I was on my way. Got there and he was busy with someone else so I told the lady at the front desk I would be outside looking at the tractors and waiting. Half an hour later I had to leave. Left my name, number and email address for pricing and still havent gotten a call or email. Guess they dont need sales, I will find another John Deere dealer that wants my money.

Excellent and professional service and employees. The shop is a 45 minute drive and there are other places closer to home, but its worth my time to take my equipment to someone i know will do it right and not overcharge. Besides, support local small business is better!!!

Quote/Sales department must be short staffed I believe. I have called twice a day for the past 4 days, AM & PM. Receptionist Is extremely friendly. I always ask for the department responsible for providing quotes on attachments. She does ask for what type of attachment, which I always kindly respond to her and tell her I am shopping around for a Hydraulic Auger. She then advises that I will be transferred. Then thats it! No one ever answers. My patience varies, from a minimum of 6 minutes to a maximum of 30 minutes and no one ever answers!!!By the time the 4 days passed, I had already received 4 separate quotes from Kubota in Uvalde, Tellus in Pearsall, Uvalde & SA. I want to make sure I get the most suitable Auger for my use. I am disappointed that I couldnt get my 5th quote from Mustang.

If it were possible to give this place 0 stars I wouldnt hesitate. I wish we couldve received the same amazing service some of these other reviewers received, but sadly they fell VERY short in the customer service department with me and the equipment I sent in months ago. Hopefully the owner is aware of how some customers are treated by the people placed in a position of high authority at Mustang Eqpt.

DO NOT take your equipment to Mustang Equipment SAT 78233Repairs took 2 1/2 weeks AND almost cost 2x the estimate.I purchased my JD from Mustang Equip. I needed service. I read the bad reviews but tried them anyway. The Service Writer repeatedly said it would not be more than $200. The final price was $435 before I complained. $372 after adjustments.They didn’t look at the tractor until I called on the original due date 1 1/2 weeks after I took it in. It sat in their “bone yard” outside for 19 days total. The repairs only took 2.3 hrs according to the invoice. They replaced a carburetor, spark plug & adjusted the tracking.An automated voice message said it was “ready” so went to pick it up. The battery was dead and the tractor was filthy. I refused to buy a battery from Mustang. They jump started the mower so I could load it.In the end I paid almost double the estimate. Waited 19 days. I got a tractor more dirty than I took in. They scratched up the rear paint when they carried it into service area with a fork lift because they drained the battery. Plus the work was sloppy.They will smile, take your money and waste your time. Put them out of business! Buy the parts on Amazon, watch a YouTube video and save time and money. Take your equipment ANYWHERE BUT Mustang.

I was told I had to wait three weeks for repairs on my riding lawn mower. After three weeks I started raising hell and got quick results. The manager in charge was very helpful and made sure my lawn mower was running fine. Service and parts are not cheap, but I have not had any problems with my John Deere.

PURCHASED A NEW JOHN DEERE D155 LAWN TRACTOR DESPITE A $180.00 SERVICE COST THE BELTS COME OFF THIS MOWER EVERYTIME I USE IT. This is the place for professional grade lawn equipment. They have the real deal, not the flimsy big box versions. Highly knowledgeable sales and service staff. Thanks to William, Kevin and all the techs at Mustang Equipment. Went in to have some mower blades replaced and a chainsaw blade sharpened. So nice to be greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable guy behind the counter. Thanks William. Also met the service manager, Kevin Call, while there. Long story short, they took care of me even though they were extremely busy and preparing to move the shop to a new location. They have earned my future business.

Mixed experience... went in on Good Friday was the only person in the store, was passed off by the cashier, then treated poorly by the salesman, acted as if I was an inconvience for wanting a quote. Waited a month and shopped around to try and avoid this place. I broke and went back dreading the transaction because of the previous experience. This time they were swamped when the same salesman was helping others he asked me what I needed, I said to order a chipper, he passed on me again. Was about to leave and order it online, when Jerry came over to help. Told him exactly what I was needing to order, asked about the promotional sales event, and price matching my online quote. He did all that and was very helpful and informative. He followed up twice when the item arrived and when it was assembled for pickup. If you go by Mustang, I highly suggest you work directly with Jerry, by pass the cashier (she can be rude), and look for him. He is by far the best that mustang equipment has, keep up the good work Jerry.

Kudos to staff at Bulverde store. I took my trimmer in for service and when I got ready to leave I had a flat on my truck. Trey and Miguel first tried to air it up to no avail. Because I have COPD, I was going to call for road service. Both of them took on the dirty job of changing the.tire on my 1 ton dually, not an easy task. This is service above and beyond. I dropped off my Scag for service on Saturday Morning and was greeted by an excellent service writer by the name of William Haynes. I gave him my issues and he told me he would get it taken care of promptly. I was skeptical but said ok. Well, i was called by the next Tuesday letting me know my scag was ready!!! I picked up on friday and was greeted by a gentleman that was going on vacation but, was in no hurry to rush me out.William loaded my scag and said if i need any service do not hesitate to come back. This team is Awesome. I was just worried that the companies dropping their mowers would get 1st preference but, i never felt that way.i will be buying my next scag here again.. I highly recommend them.

While headed home to Port Aransas to asses the damage caused by Hurrican Harvey, I stopped by Mustang Equipment to pick up a chain saw and other tool essentials that I would need in order to get passed my upcoming obstacles. While I went in with an idea of which saw I wanted, the first gentleman I talked was very helpful in picking out the best saw suited for my needs. He was also accommodating to my circumstances and gave me a better deal on a better saw than the one I had originally picked. The ladies at the desk were awesome and warm-knew exactly the size chain that I needed as a backup. And Kevin was also great. Gave me his card in case we needed anything else when we got back to the coast. Great customer service and great people. Highly recommended👍

Went to buy a Honda trimmer, which were sold out. Honda sells itself.Mechanic coming through the retail area stopped and asked if I had any questions, spent 30 minutes talking to me about Stihl and Echo trimmers. Ending up buying an Echo trimmer which I love.Great service!

Stay away.I dont know if theyve changed owners since they moved from the 1604 location or if they just have a new business model. Theyll charge through the nose for repairs and end up telling you you had bad gasoline. After they charge you theyll say user error. Seems like they just want to sell.

DONT DO IT! This place rates less than one star. They had my mower for 71 days. I finally just went and picked it up. They had some song and dance about back-ordered parts. They never bothered to call with updates...I had to contact them each time. Meanwhile, my mower sat outside in the cold and rain. Its in worse shape than when I dropped it off...seat pad separated from its frame, and rusted in several places. The experience was a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!

I was a customer for years and had purchased several pieces of expensive lawn equipment from them at both locations, however, their service department appears to be non-existent since they do not stand behind their service department to timely repair their sold equipment. They appear to focus on selling expensive equipment without any service behind their equipment, and if you complain about their long delays about repairs, they rudely ask you to leave their store and go elsewhere!

I purchased a Echo weedeater August 2016, the throttle trigger broke. I took it here because they were the authorized repair center. Echo states they have a 5 year consumer warranty. The lady in the service department looked at my weedeater for 2 minutes and said it was not a manufacturer defect and if you want it repaired it will be over a 100.00. They are more concerned about their bottom line than earning new customers. Buyer Beware!!! Bad Customer Service!!!

Sadly that to get a Honda, we had to go through them. They lied to us about the Honda lawnmower that you cant order it and need to wait for them to get some in, they also said we couldnt get on the deal for the cover or warranty special. They said if we dont have them, we cant get you on the deal. Per Honda, as long as we ORDER it before the deadline, you are fine. They would not allow us to order. So we contacted Honda, which allowed us to order from them, but it had to be sent to Mustang Equipment. Per Honda, Mustang equipment received it, but they didnt call us. Every time we called, they are always busy and no one is available. No one ever calls you back either. We finally had to get Honda to call them as they showed they had it and finally a GM called us and told us they had it. They would call us when it was ready. No call. We called 2 days later, and couldnt get in touch with anyone. Called Honda back, and they got them to contact us again. We picked up our mower. Next we tried to order some Guards for the mower, they said 3 days. We called on the 3rd day. No return calls when leaving messages. Or parts dept people are always busy and they ask us to call back. Every time we call back, we cant talk to anyone. Finally we talk to someone and its not in after a week later. Now 2 weeks later, they are busy and I cant get in touch with anyone. I am sure they still dont have the product we ordered. Do not deal with these crooks. We got our cover and warranty extended thanks to Honda themselves as Mustang Equipment doesnt seem to care. Honda said they are dropping them as a retailer due to too many complaints.

I live in the Converse area and after looking for a JD dealer to service my riding mower I found Mustang Equipment. But after reading the dreadful reviews I wanted to go elsewhere until I saw that most dealers are too far. Well, I stuck to it and went to ME to see if they could help me. To my surprise the staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. My problem turned out to be a fuel problem that they took care of right on the spot in less than five minutes and charged me a whopping $0. They certainly impressed me and earned a dedicated customer. Thats also another reason I wrote this review.Mustang Equipment: Thanks for everything!

This place is a joke walked in and was not greeted by the lady sitting at door told to walk to the next building so we did ..told the guys here what we were trying to do (which was buy a tire btw) and they didnt even know what kind of tire we could get and was told to ship elsewhere as they didnt know how to help or we could go to repair shop...went to repair shop and the guy would not even acknowledge us when he finally did he said he didnt know if they could repair a tire and noone was working that could help r give information... explain to me why you bother opening if noone can help customers

I dont recommend them for warranty repair work. Dropped off my broken, 7 month old Honda lawnmower and they blamed me for it being broken. I used it 6 times. Not sure if they treat everyone this way, but for me it went like this: 1. blame the customer, 2. say its not covered by warranty, 3. charge extra for non-warranty repairs. I threw the mower away and bought another one, not worth the hassle.
