Absolutely love this place! Customer service is second to none, with an excellent environment and ambiance. Very relaxed most weeknights and full of energy with live music on 1st Fridays. The inviting patio has a fantastic view of the Tower of Americas. Fans and heaters make it comfortable for different conditions. One of the best spots in Southtown to enjoy wine, beer, & cigars and visit with friends or make new ones!

This is a true hidden gem in South town a most stop by place, for a drink or some food. At the bar they have an experience and amazing bartender. The quality of the drinks and the food is outstanding. You should definitely try this beautiful place

Super dope lil spot.. actually discovered it by accident while I was looking for another bar. perfect music playlist, the crowd is mature and laid back, bartender is awesome. even attempted to leave after a while to try the bar i was originally looking for, turned around & came right back.good vibes all around!

The Pipe and Back Room is a cool little hang out. Open air area up front for chilling and smoking cigars and a bar in the back. The coctails are good and prices very reasonable. The bar stools are a little uncomfortable but this is easily forgotten after a nicely made cocktail.

We were offered seating on the sidewalk only despite the place being fairly empty. They would not seat us inside or on the patio because there were only two of us. the hotel said it was a good place to have a cigar but clearly two old men were not their desired clientele. I wouldnt go there again. Will find a friendlier place.

Good service...not a huge selection of cigars but a good selection. Prices very reasonable for a bar. Low in my opinion. Only about a 15-20% increase.Drinks are very solid. Service great.Smoking is outdoors in a garden courtyard area but very comfortable.

Place is great! Chill vibe..... indoor or outdoor area and drinks are so good! Reason why I am giving a 3 star is because the Bartenders are NOT Friendly at all. They give you attitude and they all look stressed out.

Long time prowler of the South Alamo scene, first time encountering this particular venue. Brandon, the bartender, is friendly and accommodating. He seems to provide quite excellent service despite being the only staff behind the bar as it were. The atmosphere is mixed, somewhere between a club and a lounge. House music plays at a reasonable volume as tequila cocktails are handed across the dimly lighted bar. Im not quite sure this place has figured out exactly what its trying to be, but Im certain whatever it becomes will come with a great atmosphere and wonderful service.

This place is definitely a one stop place! It consists of a cigar shop, super cool cocktail bar underneath the shop, patio, & a restaurant! Service and staff are incredibly nice! Live music certain nights this could be my favorite stop in town. Have to check it out if you havent!

Cool place to hang out on the patio and have a cigar and a drink. They sell cigars upstairs, but the shopkeepers always keep the door looked to hang out downstairs. Ive seen so many people leave because they thought it was closed. Just stick around for a bit if you want to buy one, or bring your own.

Really cool spot with a really cool cigar selection. I saw in there really hard to find selection including liga privada, padrones, my Father cigars, Arturo Fuentes, etc.The Coller part is that you can smoke the cigar at the patio and also get really good drinks and cocktails. You can also get served with the really good food of QPV outside. It’s like everything in one spot.

The Pipe Corner is easily one of my favorite spots to visit and step away from the hectic nature of the rest of the city. Whether youre in for the live music on the first or last Friday of the month, or just stopping in for the great wine and cigar selection, youre sure to find a warm, welcome spot to spend some down time.

Came to this place for the first time and from the minute I walked into the patio I was greeted by the most friendliest sincere person who turned out to be the bartender who took us back to the most neatest retro style speak easy bar I have ever seen in southtown. The way the bartender was talking to me and my wife I could have sworn he was management or part owner but to have someone as enthusiastic and as caring to our needs as could possibly be coming from just the bartender was very unbelievable . The bartenders Name was Brandon and neither me nor my wife have ever met someone so caring or authentic before in all our travels . The Business, The food and the rest of the staff was all 5 star quality and would definitly be coming back here for dinner and drinks in the very near future .

Seemed like a great atmosphere with a chill crowd and live music but when I went upstairs to buy cigars the person behind the counter seemed inconvenienced by us as customers. The cigars themselves where all at least $10 over price the the Liga Privada #9 which I buy often and I consistently pay $13-$14 was $24 dollars here same for the La Flor Dominicas for which they wanted $22 for and I generally pay between $6-$8 and its not due to the area because I went to another shop in The city a found the price I usually pay. Regardless of the price I was having a good night and I asked to see a cigar brand I hadnt tried yet that was a modest price $8 I slid the wrapper down and smelled it and was then informed that I am not allowed to smell the cigar and that I was now required to buy it (which I had intended to anyway in fact I bought 2) but it struck me as odd for a cigar shop and how rudely he had said it (I got the sense that the sales person thought I was wasting his time like I had no intention of buying) I have been to cigar shops and lounges all across the country and have NEVER been told I could not smell the cigar. When i went to check out I was paying with a card and my friend just wanted to break a twenty to pay me back for the cigar I was in the process of buying and was told he could not break it( the breaking of a twenty really isnt a big deal but the way he said it and interrupt my friend while he was trying to speak) be for I finished paying I asked for matches (a standard item in a cigar shop) and was told we dont have those here and had to pay $3 for a regular bic lighter. I dont know who owns this shop but they should learn more about how other shops operate and treat their customers and invest in a larger selection then sell at a more fair price.

Just came from here (jan 4th, 2018) and my crew had the pleasure of having Brian serve us. This guy was AWESOME!!!! Outstanding personality, bar skills and recommendation are on point, classy atmosphere. There alcohol selection was a bit small when you look at it, BUT..... Everything they had got you where you needed to be at. Any bar can have Patron but do you have the next best thing of tequila thats going to take the world by storm? Probably not. The owner goes to Mexico to hand pick which bottle of spirits are going to be in his store. And everything they had tasted like it was made by Adult Jesus, who wanted to keep the party rocking.Brian made sure none of us got a hangover (he made sure we didnt choose rum and that stuff) and when someone was at their limit, he would cut them off. If your hungry, they are connected to a diner next door that will bring your food straight to you. You into cigars? Go upstairs and there is another store that the same owner owns. To top things off, there is even a patio on the side so everyone can chill, smoke or eat, all in one place. Its litterlay a one stop shop for going out.Im from Gainesville Florida and I felt like I was home when we got here. 5 stars all the way👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Maybe because it hasnt been open long enough. Poor management. Slow service. Small selection of cigars. Hard to get service. Unless you are a local. Wont beer going back. Parking is very limited.
