Best place to find the most beautiful dresses for special occasions. I had my daughter’s quinceañera last week and It was the best. Everyone asked me about my daughter’s dress. I also bought mine and it was beautiful as well. My daughter looked like a princess 👑 with the beautiful dress. My entire family wore Gautier’s dresses.

I went looking for my perfect dress at Gautier and found it! The girls there are very kind and reassuring when I would inquire about when my dress would come in and helped me feel confident about it being available in time for my wedding. I got many compliments on my dress and I felt like an ethereal princess in my beautiful ball gown. I can’t recommend Gautier enough, if you’re a bride searching for your perfect dress come see what Gautier has to offer it definitely doesn’t hurt to look!

The ladies at Gautier absolutely WOW’d me with my wedding dress. They helped me create the most perfect thing that I didn’t even think was imaginable. They have a gorgeous seating area and stage to try on gorgeous dresses. They had a beautiful champagne bar to take fun pictures and talk with friends!Ari who helped me pick out dresses was very helpful and patient. Gautier is top notch for your bridal gown needs! I first saw their dresses at the San Antonio Bridal Extravaganza and KNEW I NEEDED to get my dress from them. Their dresses and unique, romantic, whimsical, and much different than other dress shops I looked into.I was fortunate I went to the expo, because soon after they made me an appointment during a sample sale where ALL SAMPLE DRESSES WERE 50% OFF. My sister flew in from CA to go to my appointment with me.The bridal consultant was a pro and made the process much easier than I could have imagined. I went on their IG ahead of time and had ideas of dresses I wanted to try on and from that she understood my style and pulled about 5 dresses, including the ones I picked. I actually ended up choosing the one the consultant picked out, I believe!Best of all, my dress was 50% off and already fit like a glove so only alterations needed were the hem and the bustle (which they did in house). They also have options for payment plans with deposit or you can pay in full.I also had a custom veil made to match the lace on my dress! With the veil+dress I paid about 900! A lot of my girlfriends who are engaged from out of state want to fly in and shop here XDGOT SO MANY COMPLIMENTS ON OUR BIG DAY on the dress! It was fabulous and I loved it and will cherish this dress forever

Walked in, they didn’t great me or ask me if I needed help finding a dress. As a customer who is going to spends hundreds of dollars at this store and they didn’t great me or ask if I needed help when I walked in says a lot about the store. Staff wasn’t busy, standing by the door too.An employee told me I must wear a mask in the store, completely disregarding that I’m fully vaccinated and I don’t have to wear a mask according to president Biden and Governor Abbott.Don’t recommend this place.

The place is so nice! Paloma was my friends stylist and she was able to attend her in every possible way. Ultimately she came back to the store and was able to decide on her bridal dress. The staff is support and has cute places for pictures as well. Definitely recommend coming to find a dress for any occasion!

I went into the appointment knowing nothing about what kind of dress I wanted and CiCi( my consultant) was so helpful! Ive been searching all over Gods green creation to find a dress that fits me and I feel beautiful in. Im plus size so it was really difficult finding something that made me feel beautiful. Everything I found before coming here made me feel old and matronly. Im only 36. They have a beautiful selection of dresses in store everyone else told me I would need to order. I love this store and the wonderful women in it. They made me feel so welcome. I cant praise them and this store enough!!!

My stylist was Paloma, she was super nice and patient with us. I came with my mom and aunties that speak only Spanish and she was able to speak and understand them very well which made everyone feel included and apart of the process which made it extra special. Definitely recommend!!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The atmosphere is SO VIBEY AND FRIENDLY. The staff care and are soooo sensitive to what the bride needs.I did not think I could ever find a dress and gautier made it so easy. I wish I could relive that dress shopping experience. If you can, and it’s in your means to do so, MAKE THE TRIP.

If I could give negative stars, I would. It’s no wonder their policy is NO REFUNDS, NO RETURNS! This place is a total fraud, incompetent, poor excuse for bridal, specializing in ripping off exited brides.To my face, told me I didn’t come in for my measurements, when I did, they just failed to record them and have my dress altered. Months and months, I waited and not a call, nothing, to tell me they had no measurements for me. I try on my dress, total wrong size. It was a Curtain on me, they blamed it on my losing weight, which I had not. My customizations, not done yet. A few weeks before my wedding. They tell me, they’ll do the customizations but it’ll take two weeks. Then another couple weeks for alterations, which would put me past my wedding date. They were totally rude, outright mean, to me. And lied about a manager being on site. They kept going to the back to “talk to the manager” only for the last girl I talked to, to let it slip there was no manager there when I demanded to speak to them in person. I ended up picking up my dress with no alterations, no customizations. They refused to refund my customizations payment, And my own mother had to alter my wedding dress. A heartbreaking and stressful experience. I can’t even tell you everything else that they said and did because this post would end up being an 10 page essay.

What an incredible experience at Gautier!!! Highly recommend for any occasion, especially bridal. I’m a plus sized bride and most plus sized women know that trying on clothes can be a little traumatic, depending on where you go. Gautier is such a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the people working there are fantastic. I felt like a queen from the moment I walked in to the moment I checked out! My consultant Cici was so sweet, so helpful, and made me feel so beautiful.

Everything about my experience buying my wedding dress here and getting it altered has been wonderful. The whole team made me feel special and were very flexible during the alterations appointments to make sure my dress was perfect and done in time for my wedding.

They are horrible stay away. Such a poorly run business. Management is never at the store to help with client issues. We have purchased several dresses this year for a wedding and each time the experience gets worse. They don’t seem to care about service at all. Even forgot to order my daughter’s wedding dress we paid in full for until we reminded them 1 month later. They don’t seem to have a system for anything.

My daughter and her friend stopped by the store today to try on dresses and one of the managers came up to them and was rude. They were looking at dresses in the mother-of-the-brides section when they were approached and was rudely told that, those are ONLY for mothers of the brides. Aren’t your customers free to spend their money on any kind of dress they want to spend their money on??? The rest of the staff was wonderful though.

I just picked up my Wedding Dress and I am so Happy!! The girls at GAUTIER makes you feel so special and know better how important is this special moment for the Bride to be! I found my sisters wedding dress here and they were absolutely amazing. For this purchase they were so helpful and I wish I remembered the name of the girl that helped me. My sister ended up deciding on bridesmaids dresses from here as well. This is where events took a turn. My sisters wedding is out of state so most of the bridesmaids had to call in for measurements. Gautier was SOO difficult to reach by phone. It was honestly so frustrating trying to get in contact with them. I had to go in person to get answers about the shipping dates for the bridesmaid dresses. The ladies at the front desk had no idea who I was talking about. I had to repeat my name like 5 times. Shipping had already been paid and they were trying to charge a fee again because they had no records stored anywhere. Overall, the staff needs to communicate with each other about client purchases or have a more organized system so they don’t lose these important transactions. I have perused through reviews on here and I see that bad customer reviews are responded to with defensive and passive aggressive replies. Overall, I would recommend their gorgeous dresses but be prepared for serious frustration with their horrible customer service.

They claim I curse them out on text message they don’t have proof but I have proof that I called them email and they wouldn’t respond you have to be after them to get there work done don’t depend on this people !!!! They send me a wrong size honesty as this point they don’t want to admit they are wrong they are so unprofessional!! Thank you Gautier for helping me find mydream black wedding dress! I never thought i would get to have the typical wedding dress try on experience because I was looking for a black wedding dress and almost no Bridal stores have them but Gautier made that dream come true! They had so many options and the entire staff was so helpful and amazing. At no point did they make me feel out of place for wanting basically the exact opposite of what the most brides want. they even helped me pick out dresses to try on that don’t cover my tattoos :) Not only did they have several black wedding dress options but they had black veils too! Gautier gave me a one of a kind bridal experience! They have an excellent selection of gorgeous wedding dresses, great and attentive customer service and help find your dream dress. Their team truly listens to your vision and guides you through the process. They take the time to know you and your style. Their location has the cutest set up for photos, and the bridal area/ dressing rooms are beautiful and spacious. Their dresses are one of a kind. While I was there I even selected my bridesmaid dresses. They have an amazing selection of bridesmaids dresses to choose from. It is the one stop shop every bride is looking for!

Had scheduled an appointment on the wrong day and they were fast to accommodate me the same day, but when we went in the young lady they put to help Ms. Maria was not helpful at all no communication no option no help! I had my daughter help try the dresses on cause she was no where to be found. I was really looking forward to trying on a dress for my special day. Not the experience that I wanted for my first time. So sad.

Not the best experience, love the fact that you get champagne while looking but when I first walked in it was completely empty and I was told I needed a appointment to look at bridal dresses. I asked if they had any that day and was told no so I ask can anyone help me, since I was from out of town and was unaware of the appointment rule. It was several workers there doing nothing and when I asked that question all of them just looked away seem like they didn’t want to help me. I was only given an hour for my appointment which wasn’t enough time to look and try on all the dresses I liked to get a good pick. I asked since there is no other appointments today can I go pass my hour so I can try on everything I wanted. I was told no and was rushed towards the end of my appointment and the women who seemed to be the manager did not look like she wanted to help me at all. CiCi was very nice though and helpful and I really appreciated her kindness.

Kids running the place do not understand customer service or how to be attentive and see if a customer needs help shopping. I had the absolute best experience at Gautier! It was my first and only wedding dress appointment. Ari helped me pick out beautiful dresses and after telling her what I liked about each dress she brought out THE ONE! Everyone at Gautier was extremely helpful and kind. If you ever imagined feeling like a Queen or princess and finding that perfect dress, Gautier is the perfect place! Right when I got there Ari ( book her if you can) was so helpful and attentive to my family and friends. One of the designers came out, talk to us and made us feel like a million bucks. The energy and vibes in the boutique was positive and put everyone in a great mood. I had my first consultation today with CiCi and she was amazing! The entire staff was very helpful and CiCi was so attentive and personable. I went in completely clueless as to what I wanted but CiCi listened to every detail and helped guide me in the right direction. I just scheduled my second appt to do my final “try-on” and I’m so excited to say “yes to the dress”!

Then a man comes running in and says someone’s window got broken in their car! That was mine! Another lady walked out and said her window got bustEd the same time last week(5:00 pm)! I talked w sec at papadeuxs to see if he saw anything and he says he doesn’t patrol their lot. So I went inside and let manager know and she said she has security. She said man in golf cart ! I told her she was a liar because I spoke to papadeuxs sec in golf cart ! Then I asked her to give me 20% off the ticket cuz that is bussiness law and she said if ya don’t like it, leave! I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS AND I SUGGEST YOU DONT EITHER! Cheap quality and made in Taiwan, China. BEWARE

This place doesnt even deserve a full star it more of a half star. The customer service at this dress shop was completely horrible. They continue mess up on their part regarding the sizing and the size chart was off and the unwillingness to do the exchange when asked. This place I would not recommend to anyone, find a another bridal shop. Issues from the brides dress, the custom mask we order that was done with the wrong color then when corrected was entirely to small, to issues with the bridesmaids dress and not having my niece dress there till the week of!! The customer service was the worst I have ever dealt with. I REPEAT DONT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!To Answer the reply:One the dress per your sizing chart was wrong so it had nothing to do with weight change. Second when I called to get it corrected your employees where rude and would not help at all. It was only till after my sister the bride went to the shop and raised hell did you guys decide to do anything about it. Furthermore, your customer service through entire process was horrible not only with me but with the other bridemaids. I standby my earlier comment of not recommending your business. To be clear CONVID or not you had additional 6 months and still fell short and still had horrible service. Lets me clear we waited to complain about the issues we faced because we need to ensure the bride dress was done correctly.

After reading these reviews, I think I just dodged a bullet. As someone who recently became engaged and called for information, whomever I spoke to was condescending. To the owner who boasted pride in being the “mask police”, you are disgusting. As someone who is vaccinated and a first responder, I wear my mask everywhere I go. However, I don’t have tolerance for rudeness and snarkiness towards clients, it’s bad business and just tacky.

The customer service at Gautier is fantastic. I fell in love with a dress and was originally told it was $2000. They discovered that they had the wrong tag on it and it was actually a much lower price. They could have kept the information to themselves and made an extra profit off me, but they were honest, and as a bride on a budget I appreciated this so much. I went to a bridal extravaganza 4 months after I ordered my dress and they were there, and actually remembered me. It made me feel like they value their customers. I went in for my alterations appointment since my dress came in. We ordered a dress size smaller because I intended to lose weight. I actually lost too much weight and would have had to have the dress taken in from the sides (meaning more alterations and more costs) it was a lucky coincidence that they just ordered my same dress in one size smaller than what I ordered, because they wanted to get more dresses for girls that are more of a large like me. She offered to let me try it on and if it fit I could keep that one. Lo and behold it fit like a glove. It was a luck that they had a second dress, but they could have made the extra money by making me pay for more alterations. Instead, they wanted to help me out and it made my day. I love the store and the girls in it. They are so kind to me and I value the work they do. 100% recommend this store for bridal gowns.

Im states away and had been to about 10 boutiques in my home state and could NOT find anything that i reallyyy liked until my sister went to Gautier bridal and literally was able to find my dress in like an hr! My all time favorite is ball gown dresses and once i started my search for my dress i came to realize a lot of places have turned to the more popular style like mermaid and tight fitting dresses and literally couldnt find many big ball gown options. At Gautier though, soooo many ball gown dresses to choose from! The assistant was so understanding and helpful she even helped my sister while she was on FaceTime with me and my family, showing us details up close of the dresses and holding the phone up to show us the glitter in different angles! Definitely a different experience my sister shopping for me through FaceTime but they were soo understanding and helpful! I really recommend this place to any bride, they have sooo many options and styles to choose from!

We were very impressed with the selection of wedding gowns that Gautier offered. We worked with Maria and she was awesome! She was very helpful and knowledgeable and that is what made the experience so enjoyable. She was also very funny, she kept my sister and I laughing through the entire process.Being a plus size bride, I was very nervous about wedding dress shopping. I called different places ahead of time to see what options were available. I called Gautier to make an appointment and the women on the phone was so nice and just said to come on in. When I arrived, they were so warm and welcoming.I would definitely recommend Gautier to anyone because of the amazing experience you will have in this place .

Worst place ever! 1. Their products are expensive and to be honest it’s not worth it. 2. I made an appointment over the Internet and tried to cancel it and they said that changes can no longer be made online (I tried to cancel 3 days before the appointment) I called them and they don’t answer and I tried calling at least 3 times throughout the day and when I finally got ahold of them on the day of my appointment (surprise surprise they finally answer) they said I would be charged $50. Their prices are so not fair and all they care about is money not your satisfaction. I ended up going to Olivia grace bridal and that was the best choice in choosing my wedding dress!! Prices are amazing and fair! They answer really quick and they have professional people that work there!!!!

I absolutely love this place! I had my wedding last weekend and I felt like a true princess because of Gautier! I purchased two dresses with them and at the moment I put them on I received a lot of compliments! The quality of the dresses is amazing, top designers, the team there is super nice and they make sure they understand what you are looking for. Their alterations department is on point and very reasonable in pricing. Their new store is fabulous if you have not been you must go check it out. This is not the first time I buy with them but it is the first buying a wedding dress and I would do it again! They are the absolute best in town! Grace is one of the best to understand and figure out a way to make you feel the best and most beautiful bride ever!

I chose the perfect dress and received many compliments at our sons wedding. It is stylish, flattering, and fits like a dream. I am telling everyone about Gautier Bridal! Gautier also has a fantastic selection of dresses for prom, pageant, homecoming, or and any special occasion.

I went to SEVERAL bridal boutiques and worked with a lot of wedding consultants during my wedding dress shopping experience. Grace was my bridal consultant, and she was so supportive and kind. My entire dress shopping experience was the best I received.Dresses were affordable and very good quality. I 100% would recommend Gautier for wedding dress shopping (hopefully you are lucky enough to work with Grace !)

We love the dress, but customer service is lacking. A misunderstanding about an appointment is no reason to talk down to a bride and make paying customers feel unwanted. Perhaps try being less condescending, less argumentative and more understanding so that people actually want to come back.We did not want to see the seamstress. The alterations were already done, and we just wanted to try the dress one more time and go home. We made it clear we did not need the seamstress, and the missed appointment was canceled 5 days before. Therefore, you had your seamstress wait due to your own issues with communication. Apparently, trying to make a customer feel bad about a mistake is higher in your priorities than being gracious and helpful. It seems patience and kindness are just not your forte. I hope you can grow in that regard because its a shame that such a nice experience with beautiful dresses can get ruined by such a petty attitude.

Gautier is my go to dress store for special events like prom! They’re always so helpful in asking me what I’m looking for and for what event. I show them a picture of a dress I like and they usually have it in store and if not it’s a Similar style. My prom dress I got this year I had to order online and it arrived within a week and it fit perfect, I’m so in love. They do an awesome job on alteration, it’s like the dress was made for you, overall I 10 out of 10 recommend! Thank you for making my prom a great one

Great dresses, helpful manager, but honestly get rid of most of the staff except the young man and start over. With a family of three daughters, we have purchased MANY stunning dresses from here that we have loved. Unfortunately, the sales staff by and large just keeps getting more and more intolerable.Yesterday, I was in the store with two of my daughters to purchase formal dresses. We were ignored, insulted, and staff refused to answer questions or help us look for other sizes. Once we had made selections, the sales girl was so incredibly rude that we left and will buy this years formals at Terry Costa in Fort Worth instead.This is not the first time this behavior has been experienced with staff here, but yesterday I reached the limit of what I am willing to put up with. The normally helpful Manager was apparently not there and most of the staff needed a strong reprimand on what constitutes great customer service and engenders brand loyalty. Overt racism does not. Let us know when you clean house and we will give you another shot.

After looking and looking for the perfect dress for my bridesmaids, I thankfully came across Gautier!!! I couldn’t be happier! I had 11 bridesmaids and each and one of them had a very different size and shape! The staff help me find the right dress that fit them all. The staff was really friendly, they made it very easy to get all sizes and have their dresses ready on time. I loved how all my girls looked!Gautier made sure worrying about their dress was not something I had to stress about!They were just amazing! And they looked lovely!

Staff is polite and quiet until you take “too long” to make a selection. I spent maybe 3 hours in the store trying to find the perfect dress (they have a no return policy) Acted like we were an inconvenience only AFTER we purchased a near $500 dress from their shop. The alteration woman was rude and had an attitude when we were going through what needed to be altered with the dress almost like it wasn’t her job to do it. 2 days later I call into the shop and ask them not to alter the length of the dress, but to go through with the other alterations. Man on the phone agreed and let me know it was ok. Flash forward, I get a call from one of the women saying that they are not going to do alterations for us anymore. She essentially told us we wasted their time, and sent us on our way.. Why refuse to do your job after agreeing to do it? Sad. Treating people like garbage reflects poorly on your business. We will not return to Gautier and will not have nice things to say about it.

I said yes to the dress!!! (After going to every other store in san antonio). This place is fantastic. They carry unique designers you wont see anywhere else. The staff is extremely patient and accommodating, Maria was so helpful and picked out the perfect dress for me!

After reading the reviews, I was a little bit hesitant to travel a few hours to shop for a prom dress, but my daughter really wanted to try this shop after seeing their Instagram. Contrary to what other reviewers have said, I was awestruck by the service we received. Let me start by saying prom dress season in this small shop is very busy. In addition to that, they are in the process of moving locations to a larger store. However, we were greeted at the door by a smiling young woman who apologized for the wait time and put us on a list. She asked that, while we waited, we look through the racks in my daughter’s size and snap pics of dresses she liked so that they could pull them when it was our turn. While we waited, we were checked on twice. Though they were busy, none of the employees seemed rushed or frazzled. Instead, they were polite and accommodating. Once it was our turn, we were led to the dressing rooms with 3 dresses to try on. They never made us feel rushed and pulled several dresses for my daughter in similar styles and colors until she found the perfect dress 💗 Every employee was amazing, and the final dress is perfect. We will definitely be back and will recommend Gautier to all of our friends.

My wife and daughter went into the store looking for a junior prom dress, the selection was nice but the customer service was less then hospitable. Once they were looking around for a not even a couple seconds, they were greeted with this this if you walk over there you might find a dress you might be able to afford, now Isnt this some racist mess? We are both retired military and currently work in the medical field, unless they have 100K diamonds in bedded in there dresses, I CAN AFFORD SEVERAL. Or is it a black woman and her daughter wasnt welcome in the first place?WE dont shop where were not respected.

Rude customer service. The lady directed our party to the area more affordable & suited to us. Disrespectful stereotypical jerks.And from reading PREVIOUS REVIEWS, THIS IS NORMAL! HOW HORRIBLE!! Look CAREFULLY at the people who review it 4+ stars & youll definitely see why there is a difference in treatment. Your store is based in SAN ANTONIO, how dare you treat anyone of color so disrespectfully!

The dresses they have are BEAUTIFUL! I didnt find one yet, but they never once made me feel pressured to buy anything. They were very patient and helpful with trying to find a dress. I will be coming back when they get more dresses in stock.

This selection of, colors, styles and sizes was overwhelmingly amazing. The staff was very accommodating, they offer to search for dresses for you or let you browse without hounding you. We liked that they usually only have one of each dress preventing you n another person to have an award moment. They have onsite seamstress, jewelry, make up n hair.

Beautiful wedding dresses! They have a so much variety and all tupes of wedding dress that you are looking for! The customer service was great and everyone was super helpful. Everyone told me finding the wedding dress was going to be really hard but Gautier Bridal made it so simple! Thank you! Fell in love with this store!!

I visited the store yesterday to find a dress for a event i had in a week, i had nothing in mind and no idea to what style i wanted. As soon as i arrived the workers greeted me and asked me if i needed any help. They quickly directed me to my size and pulled different styles that could fit my type of body and were to my liking. The service is incredible, all the other dress stores i had visited prior to coming to Gautier do not compare to the service i experienced here. I am so happy with my dress and look forward to looking for my perfect prom dress!!
