They gave me good customer service through the phone when i first asked them about a tune i wanted to do to my car and if it was possible because for some reason the tuning/auto shops in nyc wasnt accepting my car so i got referred to them . and i called them up and they told me the tune for my car was available so i went about 10:30 this morning and they got right to it . those guys wasted no time getting busy . and to be honest ive delt with alot of shops and this is one of my favorite ones and just met them today and they are very heartwarming family . im 100% satisfied with my bootmod stage 1 tune with 5 second burble time and i absolutely love it alot. my car is so much faster and sounds so mean and aggressive which is what i was looking for in the tune so it turned out perfectly

Very cool people, because of COVID we have to wait outside. But Chris was would come out and chat a bit and see if you need anything. They sanitize the car before and after work, they are very busy, but will definitely go back when I need other stuff for my car.

The customer service was A 1. They were very accommodating. I was able to drop off the car and because if my schedule this was very convenient. The price was very modest, and I felt every penny spend from the momment turned out of the parking lot. I will be back, See you soon.

I havent had the work done yet, so this is just based on the quality of their customer service for now. I stopped at the shop which is a little bit hidden in a small industrial park, but youll easily spot it by the performance cars out front. The access to the showroom and shop are limited because of Covid-19, but there is a greeting area and the service is prompt. They gave me an estimate on suspension work I plan on doing to my MK6 GTI. The labor rate is very reasonable and even better if buy the parts directly from them. They have an online shop available if you want to see whats available for your car before going. Im looking forward to working with them soon.

Seriously love these guys. Dan, Mara, and Chris are an amazing team.I started using them about a year ago when I purchased a highly modified Golf R (MK7) that needed some things looked at/replaced/fixed. They went through the car bumper to bumper, pointed out the problem spots, and budget permitting fixed everything when I needed it to be fixed. They were always honest in what they thought needed to be done, pointed out what could be an issue in the future, and never pushed for anything that wasnt needed. I fully trust KMD with my cars and you should as well.

It was my first tome using these guys. Just got my mini cooper s worked on because of an evap code coming up, they were able to fix it no problem at all and for a great price. This is a shout out and a thanks to Chris as well as anyone that worked on my car.

Great guys very knowledgeable and no surprises. Charged me what they quoted me and very satisfied with their work. I was also very impressed that they had sanitized my car and put the key inside a ziplock bag. This is very important in the times that we are living.

Ordered the front tie bar for my Jetta from KMD tuning. This was during the covid lockdown. The part showed up (in Canada) on time. They include a hand written note! Staff kept me in the know the whole time. Part fits and works great. These guys are professional!

I would like to share my experience in working with Danny and Chris from KMD. I am not an easy person to work with in the sense I ask a million questions, I take forever to make a decision, and I challenge pricing. Danny and Chris won my business because of these top three flawlessly executed abilities:1.Communication and response time.These guys are seriously on top of their game getting back to you with unbiased, honest, and easy to understand responses. Danny and Chris were able to talk to me on both on a technical level, and also on a more basic level to help me understand questions I had in regard to cooling and tuning my Audi s5.2. Quality of workAlong with tuning my car using unitronic stage 3 software with a dual pulley, they installed a revo divorced heat exchanger. They explained the benefits of how the divorced system from the heat exchanger will compliment the unitronic tune by keeping my car Temps cooler thus allowing more consistent pulls. They also looked for current and future fail points that we discussed in depth to give me peace of mind. I honestly feel that they worked on this car as if it were their own, and 100% had my best interest in mind. They also installed a p3 gauge that fits flush into my air vent and looks like it came directly from the factory.3. PriceI told them from the beginning that I was shopping around for the best deal. By the end of the transaction we agreed on a price and I left my car with them. There were no surprise add on prices when I picked the vehicle up and all work was done above and beyond my expectations.Chris and Danny care about not only the cars they work on, but the people and relationships they build with you in the process. KMD Tuning is an amazing company. Has a super responsive knowledgeable staff and never leaves any questions I’ve had unanswered. I have a lot of work done at KMD to my Golf R from a unitronic software install to a timing belt. I travel over 50 miles to drop my vehicles off to them. They are great and for the knowledge they have there prices are unbeatable!

Leaving this review because KMD has great customer service and are very informative.Was planning to bring a car from the dealer during a test drive to have KMD do an visual inspection. They were happy to oblige, and was able to squeeze me in an appointment on the same week!But, the sad part of this was the dealer already sold the car I was planning to check out.Now KMD went above and beyond by offering to help me find another car that fit my needs.I cant speak for their tuning ability(yet), but i can attest to their service. And, If their service is only a small representation of who they are, you can only imagine their dedication to tuning your car.

Very good service ! Had a check engine light on after rebuilding my head had a issue trying to set timing on the cams .. took it in Dan worked on my gli 1.8t and got the timing right ! Chris very helpful and also received a follow-up call .. cant complain quality comes with a price! but overall good work and service !!

Danny took a bunch of time to answer my questions regarding a unitronic flash and supercharger pulley. Most shops would not take the time to answer questions and calls prior to purchasing. Im in Sydney, AUSTRALIA and I have been looking all over the internet for a Cold Air Intake for my VW MK6 Golf R. Great experience from the start. I had a massive coolant and oil leak on my 2.0t Audi. Called KDM the receptionist was so nice and professional. She told me, do you want to speak to the technician. Which honestly no shop does . So then she said bring it right in. I take it to the shop it looked busy outside so i was alil worried about turn around time. I meet Danny great guy super knowledgeable and has the certification to show it. Now this is 9am he tells me ill call u at noon with diag. In my head im like no way lol. Sure enough calls me with diag and prices. The more amazing part he tells me it will be done the next day. Also takes the time to talk to me about other repairs and upgrades. From start to finish an amazing experience he even texted me with everything because Im at work. Danny truly is a great business man that treats customers like friends. Im so happy with the service and pricing and definitely the turn around time. I will be doing all my upgrade at KMD tuning.

I wanted to share my recent experience with KMD Tuning in Saddle Brook NJ. Its a long one so please make yourselves comfortable. I was looking for a local indy shop to install injectors and an inlet pipe as I was planning to install a set of K1668S and wagner intercoolers. Now, Im a very busy man being married with a small child, having a full time job and attending school at night. I was referred to them by another individual from a Porsche forum member. I had them install a inlet pipe and a set of Cobb 1,000cc injectors on my 2003 911 Turbo-all new parts of course. I figured these would be very challenging for me to install on the garage at my home without a lift and lots of labor time.When I picked up my car from having injectors installed and the inlet pipe, I had a coolant leak(had to fix myself), boost leak(had to fix myself after giving them another try to fix it themselves) and an inoperable clutch. The vehicle was driven there in 100% stock form with not one engine modification. They hacked a beautiful car with only 27k miles. I was furious. The owner Danny was not apologetic and stated he wanted to see the car again. I brought the car back 38 miles away and picked it up three days later with no phone call from them to keep me updated. The car was in the same state and I had to get everything fixed myself when they claimed they had fixed the issues. Hundreds of dollars later, I asked Danny if he would compensate me and he simply replied I would have to bring the car to him for a THIRD time. Are you guys serious? You broke parts, damaged something that wasnt in the area of your work and you want me to bring the car back to your shop? Where is the customer service you brag about? Why when you damaged a car do I have to inconvenience myself and bring the car back to you? This is not a shop I would trust with my car ever again!

This place is TERRIBLE. Took my GTI here because of misfires. I just had r8 coilpacks put in from CasteSystems Performance in Norwood Nj, BUT when i spoke to someone at KMD they still offered to take a look and claimed it would be under warranty if the coilpacks was the issue. Took my car in, had to wait an hour for the guy to come in, he looks at it for 5 minutes doesnt even run a full diagnostic and tells me i need new spark plugs which is expected from driving with misfires AND THAT the coilpacks i recieved from Castesystems are chinese knock off. THEY HAD THE NERVE TO CHARGE ME 95$ for a crappy diagnostic! At first this is embarrasing and i call Castesystems to sort out the problem, procedded to bring my GTI there. I reccomend you skip KMD tuning and take it to CasteSystems because he actually looked at my car and found there was a valve gasket cover leak, spilling oil into my 3rd cylinder and causing the misfires. After getting that replaced and new spark plugs the car ran beautiful with my chinese coilpacks and still running strong (this was late March, its May now) . KMD stinks. Take your car to CasteSystems in Norwood he actually knows what hes doing and takes pride in his work.
