Great place for Caribbean food. Should try at least once and wont regret it. Service time and customer experience can improve though.

I only go or went for the soup and patties. The soup has always been my favorite but it seems so bland now idk what they’re are doing but not worth it anymore. I just get the patties and ginger beer. Also they need to keep it more sanitary in the back, It’s a mess. I still support occasionally.

I love to go to their shopping to get some stuff cuz most of stuff from Jamaica you can get there and the people they are very friendly and they help you to help you and they always have a smile on their face welcome you in thats why I like to go there okay thats it

Dont ever order delivery from this place. This is not even a restaurant, very unhygienic and they have 2/3 items missing from my order.

Went there to buy food, the oxtail was so small not worth the money at all.

I use to get chicken soup here all the time. The last time I was there something different about the chicken soup so havent been back. I use to love that soup especially when I had a cold. It would make me feel so much better inside. So whatever they did different to the soup they need to change it back to the way it was. Now I have to find another place that makes good chicken soup.

I tried their hot food on two separate occasions and the food was just not good. Like no flavor for the rice whatsoever . The curry chicken was bland. However, I do like their in-store groceries I like being able to get busta And grater cake.

Oh my goodness...I didnt expect everything to be so delicious! Delicious coffee? check. Delicious Curry Chicken? check. Delicious Beef Patty? check. Very good portion sizes, and perfect cooked food. I will DEFINITELY be getting food from here again.

This is a fantastic establishment. There is a great variety of cultural foods and they taste very authentic. Its a very welcoming atmosphere and I will definitely be returning.

The food isnt very flavorful. However they do give good portions. If your hungry you will be fed but if your looking for something to really satisfy your taste buds this is not the spot.

I ordered today using grubhub. The oxtails were very tender & they definitely covered them with gravy just like I love it however everything was kind of bland. It was missing something not sure what it was but it didnt give me that kick like I love. The food wasnt terrible but it wasnt great. Would I order from them again, more than likely yes as they are one of the only places that I found to deliver.

Wide selection of food. When I can’t find something staff is always friendly and helpful with assisting me. Love it here. Hope they stay open forever!

Great soups

Great spicy beef party and chicken patties. Their dinner plates are good and the people are nice. It is great to see this place still here after so many years. Only thing is the place is a little run down. But has a homey feel to it.

Wonderful place. Been going there for years and now that I live in Buffalo every time I come to Rochester I make sure I go there and stock up. Great customer service as well. If I have to get back to Buffalo for a game or my son practice and I need to get in and out fast, I usually call and place my order and they allow me to do that.

Food was disgusting. Rice and beans were undercooked(hard). Oxtails were salty and cucumbers in salad were old, beginning to shrivel up. Very disappointed. They need to do better. This is, by far the worse jamaican food I had in Rochester.

I don’t know who these people are lying on these reviews, food was awful my mom passed two years ago and one thing she passed to me is how to cook these folks can’t even cook rice the rice was soggy with no Salt the oxtail was disgusting and the curry chicken was curry soup.This was beyond acceptable for a Jamaican restaurant and for the lady that answered the phone to be Jamaican just slapped me in my face like what is going on in there.If y’all need me to come show u some real Jamaican cooking I can because what I was served was a disgrace.

Went to get sum soup ...Let us come in and stand around for at least 5 minutes.. Before anybody said anything to us about the kitchen is closed... In the middle of the day.🤔😫😠

Great place. I cant drive by without stopping to purchase fresh produce or Caribbean/African seasonings. And I love the platters; especially the fish and soups.

I’ve visited the store on numerous occasions while in Rochester (I’m from Philly). Excellent Caribbean cuisine(hot foods). The shelf selections are just as good from Caribbean to African foods.

No Dragon stout and no Magnum tonic still gotta drive to canada or Brooklyn 😔

Its a Friendly and welcoming environment. The owner is usually present and more than happy to offer suggestions if you aint sure of what to get. I love this place and the fish is sooooooo good

Corner store type place but good selection of Caribbean and African ingredients. Sells malt beverages. Friendly people running the place.

I occasionally stop by here to pick up a few beef patties and Ting! The only drawback is that parking can be tricky when theyre busy.

Went there yesterday which was Saturday to buy some food to eat I ordered the stewed chicken with white rice when I got home the food smells burnt the chicken was so dry it looks like it was 3 days old food that was reheated in the microwave the food tasted so disgusting will never buy food again form there .
