Awesome card shop. Best prices of any shop Ive been in. Everything I bought was cheaper here then online. Employees were friendly and knowledgeable. About 45 minutes away from me but this is my destination card spot from now on.

I come down there from time to time and every time, I have a great experience. Overall, they have a great staff with a wide knowledge of the things they sell, a variety of interesting products, and pretty good prices. This is my favorite store in downtown Rochester (maybe after Dairy Queen)

My son and I went into this store to purchase a Pokémon card that my son saved up money To buy for himself. It was a pretty pricey card and it was very nice of the gentleman working (Jody) to cut the cost down a bit since my son was buying it with his own money. I am big on customer service and this was worth 5 stars. Very kind and my son is extremely happy.

This is a Great card shop with great employees whom are all very knowledgeable and helpful. You’ll always get a warm welcome. When sports cards/memorabilia are hard to find, they manage to keep a nice selection of packs, boxes and supplies at good prices. Definitely recommend. A+

I had an incredible experience my first time in the shop! I walked in expecting to poke around for 10-15 minutes and check out their stock before coming back at a later date to make a purchase...I ended up walking out 2 hours later with a handful of some of my favorite modern and vintage raw sports cards, as well as 3 new boxes of sealed wax (all baseball this time). They have a really great collection of cards - sports, Pokemon, magic, other non-sports trading cards - with options for all ages and budgets. Most importantly in my situation (returning to the hobby with adult-money), the staff was extremely knowledgeable and helped me make decisions on my own least-educated-yet-most-expensive part of the hobby, selecting sealed wax. They also let me browse the store comfortably and not once hassled me like Ive experienced at other cards. I was able to relax and enjoy the hobby.Im super thankful that I found them...my wallet is not so thankful...and I plan to head back there soon.Big recommendation for Nick and the team over at Rochester Sports Cards and Memorabilia!!

Awesome shop. Not a huge sports or magic guy but the Pokémon selection is usually always very good. I come here at least 2 or 3 times a week always looking for different cards from different sets an they usually have them. Rewards system is a big bonus as well. Good pokémon product availability as well if your not looking for singles etc. Great business an i’ll always shop here!

Jody and the team did a great job taking care of me. I am new to the world of magic the gathering and they did a great job of making me feel comfortable and helped me pick out the best option to start learning. They also have some awesome deals going on every time I walk in there. I would highly recommend trying them out!PS. They buy old sports cards. If you want to turn some of your old cards into some cash this is a great place!

Great shop, fair prices, and amazing staff! Been shopping here for years without an issue. Everything is priced according to or below market price. Typically they give 50% of market price when purchasing collections, which is higher than most shops in the area. Overall great experience every time!

Great shop in downtown Rochester. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Very reasonable pricing, they even had gaming art from local artists. My son also found items other stores are sold out of.

During this dark time of inventory shortages, I was shocked to see so many Pokemon products available and at pre-shortage prices. The guy behind the counter was helpful and knowledgeable about the sports and non-sports trading cards they have for sale.Great place, helpful people, and extremely convenient.

I walk in and I feel safe. Im a generally nervous guy and this was the first card shop where I didnt feel like people were judging me for lack of knowledge. I mean one time I came in with a list of cards that barely had any info outside of the name and they helped me find all of them. There was no reason for that, I would have understood if they told me to come back more prepared but they didnt. They worked with me and even found some nice additions to the deck I was making. I will also try to support a shop over online but this is way more now. Im a customer for life. Finding a place where you feel comfortable is invaluable. The good deals on cards and boxes are cherry on top.

I live about 20 miles away from this store but refuse to go anywhere else(including online). Prices are fair, great selection and very friendly and helpful staff.

I love this place, on more than one occasion I have walked in there and been treated great by every employee in the building. I don’t feel particularly stressed to buy anything and can gaze relaxingly while shopping.

Have to post on a burner account so they don’t fire me. All the employees here are rude, especially Jodi. He consistently complains, and lowballs customers. Would not recommend buying from here. All of the prices are much higher, as yes, we are a small business, but there’s no reason to charge 12$ for a pack of cards. Long story short, prices are too high, we will lowball you if you bring any cards in to sell to us, and overall have a bad attitude towards clients.

When i went to sell my cards to the guy he extremely under priced and tried to take advantage of me and all the the worker with the pokemon hat was extremely rude to me. And when i was looking threw some cards was stairing at me.

Perfect store great location we could walk up to. Storefront displays were really nice wide variety of items. Really need more stores like this remember when there was one at least every couple miles. DEFINITELY STOP IN AND support this place wont be dissatisfied.

Only place to buy hoppy packs that isn’t a major hike. Selection has lacked lately, but prices are decent. Some workers / management can feel a little slimy and money grubby, but it’s a card shop so that’s kind of a given.

There’s a lot of cool stuff in there that you can buy. Unfortunately, they are likely to laugh at your collections if they have no value to you. To me, that says they don’t even respect the game.I’m not writing this review because I am sour that they did not buy any of my cards. It was just disappointing to see that all the work I put into them in the early 90s meant nothing to their eyes. Not even wow nice job with these. It’s silly but that’s why they’re getting this rating. Respect the craft! These guys are in it for the money and that’s it.

I’ve been playing at this shop for almost 3 years now and the people there are like family. You’ll read bad reviews about how people didn’t get retail price on things they were selling. That’s normal this is a business. I’ve been a good customer here and treated as so. Highly recommend.

The old guy who works there is incredibly rude. I was looking at some cards to buy was looking at few loose ones. I was comparing and looking at card condition for literally 10 seconds and he said you are taking way too long for a $5 card. He was making it seem like I was wasting his time which is ironic since he was just sitting down doing nothing. Never coming back

I went to get my collection of old Pokemon cards looked at, and the guy there that looks at them was a little rude. He kept making disapproving noises and saying all the conditions were horrible, even though the majority of them have never left the plastic sleeves they were put it. He then told me the rarest card I had he could probably only get 100$ out of so he was willing to offer me about $150 for the whole collection, but I thought that was kind of weird so went home did some more research and put the Rare Charizard 1999 Holo Card on ebay and it went for $250 dollars. If I were you I wouldnt sell your cards to them it seems like they are trying to rip you off.Edit: You mis-read my review, I said I put it up on ebay not that I was looking at ones and what people had priced them for, I have attached a picture of the card you said would go at most for $150 but probably $100. Final price for one card in the entire collection was $400. And to be clear, it wasnt your valuation of the collection that upset me the most, but how you acted while evaluating it.

I’m just going to say that these people scammers. They took my sons cards and bought them for a cheap price while saying that was 1/2 of the best rice and sold them for overly large amounts. For example, my son had a 1st addition card and they said that the price was $40 for the card and they gave him $20 for it. A week later I went in there to get a present for my son and I saw the card for sale for $125. I DEFIANTLY RECOMMEND NOT GOING TO THIS SHOP because the people there will try to scam your kids and they will overprice there items.

Phenomenal shop with phenomenal people. Very inviting atmosphere, lots of events, fair trades, great selection. It’s an awesome place to be. The people there are the best part, both customers and staff.

Love this place! My husband and I have been coming here for the better part of a year now since we got back into Magic. I decided to go up to Friday Night Magic here and the group was very welcoming and friendly, not one person made me feel unwelcome. The owner and staff are always patient and friendly. Couldnt ask for a better local card shop!

Weve mostly dealt with one man and hes been very helpful. I go there with my 7-yo son to buy soccer (its the only place I can find that sells them) and football cards. Hes happy to offer information and answer my sons questions. Hes even provided free protective sleeves when my son gets especially good cards.

They are super nice and helpful when you are looking for something. They have a great selection of cards and memorabilia. I bought some packs and single cards and they were great! I always am looking forward to coming back.

Great shop to play Magic the Gathering at. Lots of tournaments and a variety of formats to play. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Owner is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to meet. The player base is very helpful and is willing to help or teach new players to the game. Rip off prices compared to any other card shop in a 50 mile radius. They wont give you even 2/3rds trade in value and the owner got discouraged and angry that i even knew what the other prices really were. I will never shop here again. Long time magic collector and Ive never been so disgusted.

Absolutely wonderful place to get Magic the Gathering cards! They hold tournaments here and the owner has a huge collection of almost any card one could want! He will also buy cards if you give him a good deal.

I was just in there for the first time and the staff was very polite and very engaging also I bought $100 box of hockey cards an employee was just as nervous as me opening it up. It was fun I recommend this place very much and Ill be back

I tried putting in an order for some Magic The Gathering singles over the phone. They dont offer any online support for putting in orders, and seem to only keep track of cards by looking in individual binders.Turns out they didnt have any of the cards for my decklist, which seemed weird, considering none of them are particularly old, and a few were popular planeswalkers.I got cut off on the phone after asking about only 5 cards (of the 6 I was looking for) because they were busy in the store. I cant blame them for needing to get back to people in the store, but the fact that they didnt have any of the cards I listed and seem to be understaffed is a bummer.

The owner of the store and management acts harshly against individuals with Aspergers and autism, and it seems discriminatory. The management said I made false statements towards them several times by miscommunication when they misheard me or misinterpreted my words even when I informed them I had Aspergers and I tried to repeat myself but they took offense to it. The management also claimed to see me pick up another players sideboard cards on the table in a booster draft and mix it with my own. No one ever brought it to my attention that anything occured suspiciously in the draft until they banned me from the store a month after it occurred. Anyone with developmental disabilities should stay away from this store, just a fair warning.
