This is the best thrift store in Rochester. They put out all designer items unlike Goodwill who sends anything valuable to their online auction. The staff is friendly and this corporation pays their employees better than competitors. You also get a discount coupon for donating to shop. Unlike Goodwill who stopped giving donation coupons to customers!

Clothing is expensive here. Furniture and other items are pretty fairly priced. Staff not very helpful when needing help

Great place to find used items. The selection of clothing, utensils, kitchenware, alliances, furniture, shoes, purses, books, DVDs/VHS, home decor, sporting goods, and board games change daily. They also have a decent selection of Halloween outfits . The clothing can be of various condition. I always wash it before using because I doubt they do once they receive it from donors. Also, whenever buying electronst there. The clotting is well organized. I just wish they had fewer purses and more mens shoes and clothes.

I went in for a walker for someone who just had some surgery - a nurse told me hed seen some there and that they were in good shape. In and out, purchase made, inexpensive, great employees, shop was clean and well organized....

This is the place where I found a classic or almost vintage style of Columbia interchangeable jacket with tags on few years ago. Love it!

Its a savers. Prices are as they should be. Dressing rooms are still not open as of July 30 2021. With only exchanges it makes buying clothes almost impossible.

We have always enjoyed this Savers. Today a customer took my shoes out of my cart. I asked associates for help, and Michael found them for me, not where the sandals were. Excellent employees. Thank you so much!!

I was there to look for any special deals for mens clothes, but I was a bit disappointed to find out that the prices are kinda high especially for cheap brands like Walmart brands (a lot of Georges stuff there), American Eagle, etc. They price used clothes almost as high as new clothes. So unless you are very knowledgeable with clothes brands and quality and the usual prices for those brands, I recommend you not to get clothes from here (at least for men). However, it was nice that they put everything in categories and sizes.

Its a thrift store, but pretty well organized. Sometimes has great stuff, but thats a treasure hunt, some days you find nothing worthwhile.

This place charges far to much for 2nd or 3rd hand items. Claims to be nonprofit but has been a lie and they still claim to be. Over heard management make comments about the customers are dumb so we can charge as we charge as we please. Terrible place to support.

For the $ part I would like to say this, we are new to Rochester and we came from South Carolina where the prices in thrift stores are so much lower compared to this area, thats the only thing I find hard to adjust. I just wanted to explain a bit about us before I continue with my review about Savers because its not terribly expensive and I truly like the store and I am grateful for the good work they do there.You can find a great variety of things like: furniture, clothes, toys, shoes, jewelry, electronics, movies, music, and house items. The store is clean and well organized (I love that!), the people who work there are kind and ready to help you with a smile. Also your donations will help a charity and we know how much this world needs to be kinder. When we came to Rochester we had a bunch of stuff to donate, they received our donations and gave us a discount card for our next time shopping there and a paper so we may declare it on our taxes.Right now they have a bunch of Halloween costumes and decorations brand new! 🎃I highly recommend this store, you never know what you can find! Its really neat! Go to Savers!

Nice thrift store but store is pretty dirty. But I don’t blame them, it is used stuff that is very dirty but; otherwise than that it is a nice place. They usually have a lot of sales on merchandise.

I brought things to drop off and I had an injured foot and the employee wouldnt help me. He helped someone instead who wasnt injured.

Rochester has some of the BEST thrift stores Ive EVER been to. Better than ones in Albuquerque, Denver, Colorado Springs, and even Minneapolis. There are tons of doctors and high paid medical professionals packed in this town, so whenever they need to get rid of their expensive stuff, where does it go? I enjoy shopping here, but I do think a good majority of the stuff is overpriced. For example there is a lot of outdated name brand clothing that is priced far more than it should be. And on other stuff that Ive found to be overpriced, I cant help but wonder why since all of the goods are received on a donation basis. What makes it worth it is their 50% off sales, then the prices you are paying seem to be more thrifty.

Can be a little pricey but if you donate a bag of stuff, you get a 20% off coupon and its tax deductible. High quality (& clean) clothing and goods. Much better variety than any retail store.

I personally love the fact that all of the clothing is sorted by size.+ They honor our Military. That alone is worth five stars.

Visiting and found Rochester was colder than the forecast, so we needed to get some sweaters and jackets. Good selection in our sizes, however some of the clothing was a bit pricey for a resale store. Found a few sweaters that still had lots of cat hair on them, I wish people would wash before donating.

I bought an item from the store and took it home and tried it out. The manager at the store said if the item didnt work I could take it back and get a Refund. So the item didnt work and I did just that. So I was returning the product back and they told me I couldnt get my money back after they even wrote on my receipt that they would. It would be nice if places would honor the mistakes they make.

I find almost everything is overpriced, on most things there is a decent selection, although there must be few overweight men in Rochester because there are very few large size pants. Hunting for items makes it fun just expensive.

They have so many people working there, but yet the bathroom is very unsanitary. The store looks like a mess in most places and they price somethings to high. Other than that I like the store. Just would be nice is I didnt feel like I could catch something if I use the bathroom

Excellent store to find some bargains in. The staff are super friendly and helpful. You can get some great furniture from here and polish it up with a few bucks worth of materials from home depot and you are good to go.

Dont shop here. I found a pair of jeans for my boyfriend to use as a Halloween costume for 5 bucks. Because the tag was slightly ripped the cashier called a manager to the register. The manager said they couldnt sell me the jeans with a ripped tag and the item would have to be repriced and I could come back in two days to purchase. Really? Ill never shop at Savers again.

A little pricey on housewares and collectibles. Especially disappointed in the prices of knick knacks and glassware even with obvious chips or breaks. Decent stuff but prices could improve.

Expensive junk. $6.99 for chipped 5X7 picture frames. $7.99 for overly washed sweaters. Plastic items stained from age that should be recycled. Although they do have a big variety and seemed busy. You might find something good once in awhile.

I’ve always found great deals on name brands like Ralph Lauren Polo, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Michael Kors, Coach, etc. I’ve even found Prada and Gucci shoes, C la Canadienne boots, and much more, not just for myself but also in kids and mens. Their clothing and shoes have always been in great shape, and at prices that I can afford. The trinkits and misc is a mix of oddities and household must haves. Savers is by far the best thrift store compared to others in the area. They also help non-profits, and recycle whats donated if it doesnt sell. My Savers is also well organized and clean, which the others are not. Savers is the first place I think of going when my family needs clothes, shoes, and accessories.

They charge too much fore everything and they are still for profits. you give them stuff and they give a charity pennies for it then they sell it for 10 bucks. rip off.
