The customer service was top notch and the employee we worked with was very knowledgeable about the products and cuts of meat we were interested in purchasing. They have a good selection of local meats and cheeses. I would definitely recommend checking them out if you are in the market for a good butcher that knows their cuts of meat.

Love this place. Try the smoked eggs, the bourbon sirloin is almost too tender.Their own fresh hamburger is expensive but worth it, its way better than grocery store generic hamburger.

Best quality meats in town. If they dont have it in store they are happy to special order it for you. The customer service here is second to none. It can get pricey. But you 100% get what you pay for. I havent had a finer ribeye since I moved to town in 2005.

Im super excited about the smoked turkey I ordered from Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe today for Thanksgiving! My husband and I admittedly are not good at turkey, and after a too-rare turkey at last years Thanksgiving dinner, we didnt want to have that issue again. This year, we are excited that all we will have to do is warm up the turkey and that means we can concentrate on the side dishes! Easy!

Best meat and service in Rochester. I come up from Kansas city every year and I have to stop in and get dried beef.

I love this place. The people that work there are awesome and very helpful. They have the best and fresh fish on Thursdays. They also have dog treats. Lots of different chocolate items. Check it out.

I love this place! The butchers are very kind and always willing to help! The meat is always top notch and at a reasonable price. Fresh fish on the weekends means delicious salmon! Seasonal meat is a thing too, lots of delicious Christmas and new years roasts to get! Highly recommend!

When I need a fresh turkey for Thanksgiving, I just call, ask to have it sectioned, and pick it up when needed. I am greeted with a smile and they remember my name and order without me telling them what it is. Service is excellent. Food products are excellent. Fresh meats and poultry served with a smile. All questions answered. I feel special every time I go there and leave knowing that I get the best products.

Every time I try someone else’s summer sausage I compare it to ye olde butcher shop. It rarely compares. They have great customer service. I have only tried venison processing but it is always great.

In 5 years of shopping here, I have never had a bad experience. Good fresh cuts of meat, reasonably priced along with very friendly, knowledgeable butchers always ready with suggestions when youre not sure . Kudos to my favorite butcher, Tony, always smiling and helping. Great local family run business.

Great down to earth butcher shop. Friendly staff. Reminds me of the old days growing up. My favorite is the Ring Bologna good stuff. A must stop whenever youre in Rochester. I come all the way from Omaha NE. Worth it.

One of the best things about having Kelly in my life is that we go here for our protein. Hamburger, chicken breasts, in good quantities and sizes. Exotic bratwursts for when family comes to visit.And right now theyve got Al Capones (stuffed pork chops) and Calamity Janes(stuffed chicken breasts) proving that they just dont have good meat but that they have good taste.Plus the things a hunter needs to make jerky or sausages and some baked goods from Prescotts, so they support local businesses.They also cater D6 Games events, so Im more than happy to sing their praises, metaphorically.

Employees are super friendly, great quality meat, great prices. Love the ribeye cryos, and they are more than willing to cut to any thickness. Their brats are also quite good.

The butcher shop meat is always great. I only get my bacon there as it is the meatiest I have found that I like and their fresh turkeys on the holidays are excellent. Some day I am going to try the turducken.

Friday may 18th around noon south Broadway. I witnessed a delivery driver with some terrible road rage!! He should not be allowed to be on the road. He forced a car off the road came inches within the car almost sideswiping it. So the car speeds up and gets in front than the idiotic delivery driver starts screaming at the car! And damn near rear ends them. He than proceeded to switch lanes cut me off than cut the other car off and slams his breaks in the middle of the road with no red light no stop signs! Just so he could stick his arm out the window with his middle finger up and scream at the car. Really? Real mature! So I followed him took pictures and got the license plate ybr **** ! This man should not be allowed on the road. Luckily I caught up with the car at a stoplight thankfully he got everything on his front and rear dash cam so hopefully karma comes around.
