Need more cashier. Otherwise very good store

Got everything that I wanted, got rang out by the cashier and looked for my wallet. I then found out that I had left it at home. The cashier was friendly with me and I think she deserves acknowledgment. I want to say thank you to her. Cheryl

Never Again. 1st and last time stopping here on my way through Rochester. Rude! No customer service. Horrible attitudes. The store itself appeared nice when I entered, however the ladies working Saturday night closing time absolutely need training! Various levels of training.Why? The lengthy story involves me telling an employee that Im looking for something and that employee not offering to help, being treated like I did something to them because Im there in the store at 9:50pm (store closes at 10pm) and despite the ugliness experienced paid for my items that were thrown and slammed in the bags and still made it in my vehicle by 9:57pm, even after waiting for someone to come to the register and waiting for someone to unlock the door to let me out. Note the waiting part- there were at least 3 ladies working at the time that I could see, and yet I only interacted with the same 1 young lady. Training tip #1 - if you want to get someone out the door quickly, you all should be politely helping that person find what they are looking for, cash them out, bag their items, unlock the door. So while I dont dismiss the 1 girls piss-poor manners, attitude and customer service I understand that some of that had to be misdirected anger as her coworkers werent being great teammates. This is long and doesnt cover half of the story as there were things being said as well. Family Dollar can do better.

Ive been in about 3 times within the last two weeks and my experiences have been absolutely dreadful each time. First time there was at least 15-20 people in line. They had one register for cash and one for cards. No big deal. However there were 3 employees and they were bickering about who was gonna be on the register. No big deal. I finally get to the credit card only register and the lady was very rude and frustrated (Im assuming because they were busy and she couldnt talk very loud on the phone to a friend/family member she had to hang up when it started filling up with people) and she was tossing my items in the bag not setting them down but dropping them into the bag with attitude. Didnt say thanks. Or have a good day nothing. But all 3 experiences have had the same super long line with rude employees. They need some real customer service training in here and today was the last day I go to that location!

This location was clean and organized things was easily to find with friendly staff thats was eager to help out

It just goes to show that no matter how many grand openings you have, you cant change the outcome of horrible service. I honestly cant believe that this store has this amount of stars for its review. Sounds like internal ratings to me. The staff doesnt display professionalism and choose which customers they would like to acknowledge. The store is so disorganized and you may find yourself getting yelled at by another customer from bumping into them.

Nasty dirty parking lot. Bootleggers lurking trying to sell reservation cigarettes and blank cds. THEE most ghetto fabulous and raunchy location in Rochester. Dont go there unless youre a local. Because the locals in that area are what make this location so unusable and uninviting for this business and others.

Be careful at the register always check your receipt :(
