Fast service for my driveshaft problem.Next time I need a longer pto shaft for my farm implement FleetPride will be my first stop.

Took in a 2 piece drive shaft to have the front tube replaced due to a dent in it that may have been causing the slight drivetrain vibration in the truck,told them to do whatever it needs to make it right..Installed the fixed (supposedly) driveshaft and the vibration would knock your teeth out,this probably was caused by the NEW part of the shaft was made too long as it was jammed against the transfer case and at the end of the slotted mounting holes for the carrier bearing.Took it back to have it repaired/made correctly and they tried to charge me for fixing the oversize length of the shaft.After reinstalling the correctly sized shaft the vibration is still there and only half as bad as before they repaired the incorrect length and way worse than before they even remade it!So out with my supposedly fixed driveshaft and took it to another shop to give them a shot at it, after they redid all of the work that Fleetpride did due to the severe runout of the shaft and balance the rear portion of the shaft (as Fleetpride never did)the truck is vibration free!I didnt bring it back to Fleetpride for the 2nd time to try and get it done right due to the rudeness of one of the counter guys and also no confidence in them being able to do the job correctly,never again a$168.00 learning experience.

This is the place to go anytime and every time you have anything to do with U joints etc. Every time I go there they give me in and out fast, courteous and professional experience. I dont even bother trying to do it myself with these guys do it for so cheap with Quality parts. I thought I was going to need a new U joint replaced however they just replace the Which is all I truly needed. He didnt try to sell me stuff that was unnecessary

Last fall(2018) I brought my driveshaft into fleetpride to have it modified for an automatic to manual transmission conversion. They asked me information on the car and I told them it was 650 hp.After installing the shaft at the same time as the transmission I took the car on a few short trips to break in the clutch, the car never saw more than 3500 RPM (of its 7200 RPM limit) or much over half throttle.About a week and 100 miles later, on a steady acceleration climb at around 3000 RPM and 40 MPH the shaft snapped. I had to have the car towed home. Not only was the shaft broken, but it also broke the tailshaft of my transmission, my custom exhaust and put a nice hole in the floor(luckily there was no passenger here).This shaft barely lasted a week and failed at less than half the power it would eventually see. After returning what was left of the shaft to Fleet Pride for a refund(within their 30 day warranty period), they said they would have their engineer look it over and call me which they never did. I went back and they said bring the other piece of the shaft, so I did and they said they would call me but never did. Finally after I called them and asked what was going on they said it must have been the transmission that locked up causing the failure. I brought the transmission in and showed them it still spins freely in all gears and then said they would call me(of course they didnt).Their failure has costed me thousands of dollars in damage. I would hope FleetPride would stand behind their work but they dont.
