The staff and repairmen/women at Service King were phenomenal! Not only did they handle the claim with my insurance company, they also helped with my car rental. They were in constant communication with me regarding the status of my repair, always friendly. Not only did they wash the outside of my car when they finished the repair, they cleaned the inside as well! I love it when businesses go above and beyond. Thank you!

I’ve used Service King twice-Once when my (previous) car was broken into leaving a smashed window and door, and another time when someone hit my (current) car and damaged the passenger side back in a few places.Both times they were friendly, kept me well informed, and fast. They made everything so easy, and most importantly you would never know by looking at the car!Highly recommend this shop!

Garbage garage, the car cant be repaired after three repairs. Never come back again. It was the first time that I told me that the car was repaired and asked me to pick up the car. It was found that the reversing image had not been repaired, so I took it back and repaired it. The second time I was asked to pick up the car, but it still didnt fix it. The lane change assistant has not been repaired. They cant find the problem with your car at all. I wasted my day. The car drove home and then to the garage. Terrible service. Please check the problem of the car, fix the car, and then call the guests back to pick up the car. Its not a waste of my whole day, all running around.

Service King, I have to say the name sounds hokey but in the end they are the king of service. My new truck with a special color metallic was fixed and looks new again. I was worried they wouldnt match it or the front headlight would look different than the other one. You Cant even tell!!!And their service is genuinely like they treat you like royalty. I dropped my truck off they had the rental car waiting and they were done within a week and a day early. They really do rule!!!

My wife’s car looks brand new! They did an amazing job repairing the front bumper and the left fender. The alignment of the car was affected but it wasn’t no problem for them. Took a lot less time than what the estimate was! About three days sooner. Customer service is amazing as well. Always keeping you updated on your car’s status while they work on it. My insurance company referred me to them for their services due to a claim. No regrets!

I had never heard of Service King when the insurance company had me go there for an estimate. I inquired through my town website if anyone had ever used Service King, every response was totally positive. So I decided to have them repair my car. They did an excellent job! My car really looks brand new. They not only repaired the damage from the accident, but cleaned and waxed the whole car. They also totally detailed the inside. Fantastic!!!

This is one busy shop! I took my car in after a fender bender and they did an alignment and saw no other damage so I didnt have the paint work done. My car is 2007 and multi rust spots so painting and time would not have been frugal. Estimate was $938.00 and 4 wheel alignment only was $98.00. They did it right away and I am back on the road.

DOUBLE CHECK THEIR WORK. Whoever they have in there doing the body jobs on the vehicles is doing complete botch jobs I had to bring my car back 3 times in still not back to its original condition that my insurance paid for. Idk how this guy even has a job there. Most people do t know what to look for and they are good at hiding things. Most likely if they had to do some work inside a panel or anything like that I guarantee its messed up job the clear coat finish will be me3sed up.your gonna have debris on your paint job the list keeps going on and on. If you want to deal with this headache and inconvenience go right ahead and bring your vehicle here but I recommend you do not do business with these people

I had an appointment to check out a front end noise, they met me at the door and brought my car in right on time. They advised of the issue, explained my options and estimates upfront. The first time I went to pick up the vehicle there was still visible damage. The employee told me that it was just a bug and tried to wipe it off. It didnt wipe off. I had to wait another 2 days for the car.EDIT Response to Owner: the delay wasnt the main concern. The fact that there were three separate points of damage that I had to point out when I was first told the car was ready was the main problem.

Sent my car in for some cosmetic work related to an accident. When I picked my car up the exterior looked amazing...the interior on the other hand was covered in dust- my infant and child car seat were also covered and smelled. I had drip marks all down my driver side door (interior) and there were clumps of mud in my driver side storage!!!!! Completely unacceptable

Service king fixed my car 2 times. There is no way you choose another shop rather than service king just try. After you fix your at this location you don’t come back for the same issue or problem my word is if they fix it’s done ✅. Thanks service king. My family has had collision repair, towing and regular service done at both locations, and we have always been treated fairly. Unfortunately, I do not live in Rochester at this time, but I always took my truck to Tony and the guys at Gates Auto when I lived there. They are honest and will never tell you that you need something done unless it actually does. They insist on using quality parts and have excellent customer service. Cant wait to move back to Rochester.

For the past nine years I have gone to Gates Auto for all of my repair needs. That is fairly often since I am poor and have a 20yr old car. They have always been dependable, honest, and thorough. When Service King took over I got nervous because of the shift from a locally owned and run business to a franchise can sometimes affect quality of services. That is not the case, thankfully! They have helped me so much recently and have even gone out of their way to help me. Craig Phelix the Service Manager has been so accommodating and understanding, and has helped me reduce costs and is always a straight shooter with me. Honesty and Integrity are policy at the Service King!

Went to Gates Automotive to get an estimate to fix some parking lot cosmetic damage on my cars door. After checking the depth of the scratches, Tony came back out with some chemicals, cloths, and rubbing compound and fixed the damage in about 10 minutes. He gave me some advice on what I could do and also recommended that I make an appointment for a more professional buffing whenever I preferred, at a later date. When I asked how much for today, he said no charge. That is great customer service and a much needed example of professionalism.

I woke up to an email that I had to be in NYC by end of day with a delivery of my product. I knew I needed an oil change soon however I didnt have time to stop at dealer and nor did they have an opening. I stopped in here because it is near my house and asked if they could check it quick so I could get on the road. He immediately went to work and got me all set to go. He even did my windshield wiper fluid at no charge. This is the exact service I was looking for. Go here for real service which is hard to come by these days.

Amazing work, Went above and beyond my expectations on collision work!Paid for brand new brakes and rotors only to have the same squealing I had prior to bringing in my car. First 15 mins of driving home was great, no squeal, on the 16th minute, the nightmare came back! I’m very unhappy, with the amount of money I spent on brakes, I should not be squealing, at all. UPDATE:dropped from 5 stars to 1 starI initially liked Service King however since that time they have greatly disappointed me. I was trying to get my vehicle repaired under an extended warranty and they messed it up. They gave out personal vehicle information without my permission to a third party warranty company. Any reputable shop would have contacted their customer before providing a third party with any information. This company was not an insurance company which they would normally speak with concerning vehicle body repair. This was a third party which they do not deal with. Service King was not repairing my vehicle for this issue. They should have contacted me, the customer that they work for, before giving out personal information on my vehicle that they had nothing to do with at that time.I advise anyone that is or will use them as an auto repair shop to explicitly tell them that they are not authorized to share any information with any third parties when they are not repairing your vehicle. One would think that is common sense, but I guess it isnt at this business.I will no longer be using them for any further auto repair. They have violated my trust and no longer deserve to have me as a customer.Just have to say Craig, service manager, is FANTASTIC!!! Actually all the staff are great!!!Started going to Service King a couple weeks ago when my normal mechanic fell ill and has closed his shop. I have used them in the past when they were Gates Automotive Service and was happy then as well.The mechanics, or Craig, will go over any issues they find with you. There is no pressure, but they will tell you if something is urgent. Prices for labor and such are typical for area, definitely less expensive than dealerships. A bonus is they are a Geico approved collision center with appraisers on site, at least at the Marway Circle location.This is my new go to mechanic, am very pleased with the work they have done for me over the past couple weeks.

Brought my car in after an accident. The insurance company happily honored their quote on the job having good experience with them. I had my car dropped off on a Tuesday and was told it would be ready the following Tuesday, but got my car back early, on the Friday of the week I dropped it off. I was expecting to have to wash it after due to the salt that had built up on it before dropping it off, only to find it cleaner inside and out than when I dropped it off. Only downfall was I had to have a family member dropped off my car due to conflicts with work and the scheduled drop off time.

My appointment was on a Friday at 12:30pm. I dropped the car off early, around 10. They didnt get me an estimate until about 6pm and told me the work would be done by Wednesday. Wednesday comes along and I received no phone call or email of the like on the status of my repairs. After I contacted them, they then told me it should be done by the weekend. I called again on Thursday and they said it would be ready for pick up on Friday but gave no time. Called again Friday and they finally said I could pick it up. When I arrived, they asked me to pay my deductible and sign the papers. AFTER I signed, the receptionist asks me if I had gotten the chance to look at the car. I bluntly said no. I didnt even know where the car was parked. Needless to say the customer service at this location was horredous and I dont think Ill be coming back for any future work.

I called Gates Automotive and told them I had an area on my vehicle that had a dent in it and wanted to know if they could fix it. They told me over the phone more than likely, yes they would be able to fix it just bring it in. When I went to the Gates Marway circle location I went inside and gave them my name. I was demanded to fill out a form stating what type of car insurance I had what kind of vehicle; I had as if my vehicle was in an accident. I stated to the young man my car was not in an accident I just here to get a quote on how much it would cost to fix a dent that was smaller than a dime! He continued to demand me to fill out this form I sated to him I did not want to fill out any paper work until I spoke to someone first. My response of not filling out that form was not acceptable to the young man. So I was finally able to show another gentleman the spot on my vehicle I needed to be fixed. I was told yes they would be able to fix my vehicle they just had to order the paint and they would call me when it comes in and they would fix my dent in the car. Well it has been over 3 Months and I still have not received a phone call.I just want to say thank you to Gates Automotive for the wonderful customer service you have provided me with.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered. I was told by my insurance company that this shop was part of an express program where my estimate and rental were going to be on site and my car will be taken in that same day. I set up the appointment a week ahead and come to the day of drop off they had no idea about my appt. They said that their scheduling guy forgot to put it on the calendar and I had to sit and wait 2 hours to re set up the appt. while the repairs were being done there were automatic texts every day letting me know my vehicle was expected to be done on time. On the day of pick up I was waiting for the call to let me know my vehicle was ready and I didn’t receive one until about 5 pm telling me my car wasn’t ready and that it was going to be another 3 days. When I finally picked up my car I noticed the side camera they just installed wasn’t functioning at all and called them back. They said to return the vehicle and take back the rental I have been driving because they forgot to set up and calibrate my camera. After returning my car they apologized and claimed they didn’t know the camera had to be set up because it’s a newer car(2016). After returning it so they can finish their job, I picked it up the next day and noticed they forgot to replace the air caps on my tires and the guide lines on the camera they just calibrated were pointing up in the air instead of on the road where they’re suppose to and had to return once again. When I returned I was greeted with “Your back again? Your not gonna give me a bad review are you?” When I pointed out the guide lines the repair guy got in to look at them. His went in my settings and turned them off and his response was “Problem solved. you can just turn them off. you don’t have to look at them they’re just there for reference.” My guidelines are still not calibrated and I highly recommended not wasting your time here.

I have had a great experience with Gates Automotive (Gates location) the several times I have been there. Today was exceptional service all around. I showed up first thing this morning with two small babies, and they not only got my vehicle RIGHT in, but also helped get me a rental and provided fast, excellent service. My car was ready within three hours. The front desk and mechanics were more than helpful, going above and beyond what I have received (and more than I would expect!) at other places- helping me load/unload two carseats, etc. I have nothing but good to say about Gates Auto, and highly recommend it to anyone in the area! I will continue to give them my business as long as I am here, and will be telling everyone I know the same.

I’ve finally found a “neighborhood” service that delivers great workmanship, service, and is in my neck of the woods! Last year was my first experience with Gates Automotive when a deer hit my car. This time my car was hit while parked. Both times my car was repaired to new condition with great attention to detail. Lorne is very easy to work with and helped me figure out some issues dealing with the other guy’s insurance company. Being a Geico customer, it’s nice to have a rep on site there as well for the time the deer hit my car. Hope I don’t have another collision repair to fix, but I know where I’m going if I do!

Service King Collisions location has had a bad reputation from different people I have talked to about them. Untill their name changed, I was very timid to use them as my mechanic. I originally had my cars breaklines changed by them, and 2 months later it detached. Me and my significant other in frustration called the job and demanded they fix it immediately. They fixed it free of charge, and the manager gave us his personal car to take shopping and to run errands we needed to before our vacation that day. Even though this event happened, it was explained to us that two mechanics had recently quit and that one of these two men had done the bad job.They admitted fault to a problem, and fixed it as fast as possible. They also helped us with other issues they didnt necessarily need to. Try them out. You wont be disappointed!

No one likes car repairs. Having your car fixed is a headache in so many ways. Gates Automotive however, takes most of the pain out of having your car repaired.Recently my son was involved in a car accident and we chose Gates Automotive to do the repairs. Not only was the staff pleasant and professional, they explained the timeframe, what we could expect, and had the car ready in the timeframe they specified!!
