The Best experience hands down in my car shopping over the years. They didn’t waste my time. They answered all my questions truthfully. I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of or encouraged to buy something I didn’t need. They even went beyond what is expected to keep their verbal promise about a 2nd car key after the car had been delivered. I would encourage any car buyer to ask for Tina in sales and Mark in the business office. They are quality people.

I have had the WORST experience at Berglund Luxury of Roanoke service departments! I went to get my 2020 BMW 740i serviced and first I was told my car needed to be taken to the Berglund Luxury or Lynchburg and not there. Then they took my info to supposedly schedule me an appointment, but NEVER called me to schedule one. That is just so unprofessional of them especially due to the fact that I’ve purchased 5 vehicles from Berglund within the past 2 years. Not that I am looking for any special treatment at all! But why lie and say you all can’t work on my vehicle when clearly they have BMW’s on their lot and people that can service them at Berglund Luxury or Roanoke! My advice… Please do not purchase any vehicles from BERGLUND LUXURY OR ROANOKE, be ya use once they get your money they will treat you like you’re nothing, instead of a good paying customer!! Oh and by the way, my wife and I, have had these problems with them within the last month!

I was here recently and had just forgotten that the parts department for Mercedes-Benz is actually located inside the Volvo dealer next door.Certainly a Berglund property but I digress..Google asks and I answer.So, you now know that Mercedes-Benz parts are actually located in the Volvo dealership next door.Reminiscent of my last, very expensive visit to this particular dealer and I happened to remember they have Starbucks coffee as I try to find the parts department.Of course; Covid-19 strikes again, although I am not quite sure exactly why but NO Starbucks coffee or snacks as you wait at $300 hr for your car to be diagnosed or fixed for less than a second mortgage.So after finding someone to ask, I was directed to the top of the hill to the Volvo parts department to pick up my Mercedes-Benz part.I only waited 10 minutes before the gentleman who provided my order appeared.Anyway, the good coffee and premium snacks were the only reason to wait during service, at that price, you know the one that gives you chest pains as you give over your credit card... never have once left with any money in my pocket,Lol, they will get it but, back to coffee and snacks; those days are over.And if you need Mercedes-Benz parts, go to the Volvo dealership.Makes perfect sense to me...Dont expect a coffee & a snack.NO Coffee For You, NEXT...Enjoy..!!

I was pleased to have my car worked on and back to me on the same business day. Dealt with Brian (mgr) and Josh (sales), and I believe that I got a good value for my trade in and a good deal on my purchase of an Xterra. Since it needed a software update, they offered to deliver it to me and take back my trade to save me the drive back to the dealership. That was above and beyond what I have ever experienced at any dealership.

Theyre great until you have a problem and then they dont want to support you and wont return calls. Even trying to reach the GM or the owner was impossible and they have never contacted me despite many attempts. My first service experience lasted about 35 days during which they lost all of my personal items that were in the back of my car (Land Rover). I am revising my previous rating to be 1 star as they do not represent a Land Rover brand of Above and Beyond

What an amazing experience I had working with all the wonderful people who work at Berglund Luxury. The GM, Alex helped to get me into my dream car. He was so helpful and worked very hard to help get me into a beautiful new car. I could not be more thankful!! Preston and Sonia at Berglund Land Rover are excellent. They do great work here, its the only place I take my car. Usually I book a very early appointment and am out in two hours. Yesterday I waited a very long time. After 4.5 hours I was given a loaner to go run my dog out and grab a bite to eat. Got there at 10am and got home with the finished car at 4:35. Ill drop it off from now on.To be fair they had to change the rear brake pads in addition to the oil change, inspection and alignment.Ill still go here as I trust the dealership to do better work than just any old garage but I wont wait again.Tim Riddle is great at customer service. They are lucky to have him.Also the bathroom and waiting area are clean and nice. Good refreshments to choose from also.

I consider this dealership the gold standard in our area for customer service. I am a long-time car enthusiast and have had many vehicles and varying levels of experiences and I always find myself thinking The luxury store would have done this better. The area that this store really shines is more specific to the service department and overall staff in my opinion. Each time I am here even the car handlers who move vehicles at the dealership always ask me how I am doing and if there is anything they can do while I wait. The sales experience is usually a quick one that can be good or bad, but good service is long-lasting and the true measure of what builds value in a brand. I previously owned Mercedes and Land Rover vehicles and never doubted that these folks had my best interest in mind. Tammy Niles in Mercedes service goes above and beyond and is always straight forward and friendly- highly recommend. Im more so writing this review because I recently purchased a new Audi in the area and although the vehicle itself is fantastic.... I can only say that there is a stark (borderline shocking) difference in treatment at other dealerships/service departments that just doesnt compare. Its been a tempting thought to change vehicles just to have more pleasant experiences going forward in service for the long-term. If you have an opportunity to make this dealership your go-to you will not regret it.

I had a great experience buying a car from this dealership a couple weeks ago. Bruce Wayne our salesman was amazing!!! Very nice guy, and although he wasnt feeling his best he continued to help us with my Infiniti Q50, with a great attitude. I love my new car.I called the dealership after realizing I left a sticker on the car I traded in that I needed, Bruce went the extra mile and mailed it to me! The finance guy (cant remember his name) was really nice too! Thanks guys! I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone.

Brennan, the Service Manager, is wonderful to work with. He explained the service to be preformed--which was a computer diagnostic of the indicator lights on my dashboard. The service performed, repair of a wiring harness, was quick and less costly than I had expected. The wash and vacuum of my car was a very nice finish to the service.

I wish I could give less than one star. I was scheduled for an interview at 1030am today. I was told upon arrival that my interviewer forgot about the interview. The woman helping me said she was the Service Manager and she was allegedly texting my interviewer. She said that my interviewer was at a different building participating in a training that would last until about 11-11:15am. I drove 45 minutes to get there. I arrived 15 minutes early. Everyone knows to get to the interview early even though you may have to wait. I was asked to “hang out” until my interviewer was finished with the training. I waited until 12:15pm to be given further information about my interview. I received no further contact. At that point, I accepted that my interview was not going to happen. As a professional, I know that this behavior is completely unacceptable and I have never been treated this way by any other company. I have recruited for 2 companies and scheduled/ conducted hundreds of interviews. Not ONCE have I scheduled someone for an interview, had them wait 2 hours and not even shown my face. Not ONCE have I neglected to contact a candidate to cancel/ reschedule an interview when my schedule changed. I am appalled by the actions of these employees and will never associate myself with anything they are representing. I will not stay quiet. This is bad culture. I hope this review makes a difference.

I have purchased a bunch of vehicles over the years and have never had such a smooth transaction. From the moment Frazier began talking to me I knew I was in good hands. He actually grabbed the car I wanted from another lot and had it detailed and ready for me. Sonia ensured I had the best possible financing even though I came with my own financing in hand. Called Berglund from my home in Greensboro, NC and spoke to Frazier Hughes. I was very specific in what I was looking for and he assured me the Audi I was interested in was in pristine condition. I took him at his word, picked up a one way rental and drove to Roanoke. The whole experience was fantastic. Sonia and Jason (managers) were very helpful and you wont find a better more Personable car consultant than Frazier Hughes. And the Audi......it was Perfect!!! Thanks!

I’m a two-time customer (two Mercedes-Benz SUV’s), but I guarantee there won’t be a third. Employees’ true colors are shown once the sale is made. I purchased pre-paid maintenance on a lease 7/1/2017, and was advised by Tiffany, who was working Finance 5/4/2020 when I returned the leased vehicle and bought a GLB 250, “you will receive reimbursement within two weeks for the balance remaining on the prepaid maintenance.” Three weeks have passed and no reimbursement. I called last week to check on the status and Tiffany said, “We decided to put that amount on a future service.” It isn’t your money to make decisions. That was prepaid by me three years ago and is due to me. I purchased prepaid maintenance on the 2020 SUV, so there’s no need to apply it for service, nor were you given approval to do anything but reimburse me the $300+ balance. A written complaint will be filed with Mercedes-Benz Corporate Office and Better Business Bureau if the check isn’t received this week. Berglund Luxury isn’t trustworthy in their business practices. I strongly encourage potential customers to shop elsewhere.

Buyer beware. I thought Id found a dealership that was truly focused on the customer experience, and actually operated with integrity. And to be fair, the experience started out great with Sonia. However, it quickly went south once the deal was complete. What appeared to be a minor oversight on the trade value wed agreed to, and that Berglund acknowledged was an error that they would fix, has yet to be resolved 6 months later. I even reached out to Alex, the GM with all the correspondence Id had with his team where they specifically indicated this problem would be fixed. No response. My advice would be if youre buying a vehicle from Berglund, dont trust what they tell you. Unfortunately, it appears all they care about is making a sale - not doing what is right.

This is my second automobile purchase from Berglund in one year .. I bought the QX50 Journey without viewing it.. I live in Winston Salem, 150 miles away from the dealer in Roanoke. Once again the service department exceeds my expectations. I needed a state inspection for my car, I had not made an appointment, however I was in the vicinity of the dealership and decided to swing by and schedule one. Turns out I didnt need to, they took my car in immediately, no waiting, no having to come back by. To top it off after the inspection they washed my car for no additional cost. This is a friendly, knowledgable and trustworthy group on individuals. Something relatively rare in the auto industry.

Horrible and extremely rude customer service after the sale. My son purchased a BMW and traded after 1 year. He purchased the extended service contract for over $4k. They are pro-rated and we could not get anyone to work with us on getting the amount of the contract he did not use back to him. After 15 calls in 2 days we were told they would call us back and hung up without a name or number to call back. I was going there this fall to trade my wifes Armada for an Infinity or Land Rover, NOT NOW!!

We were stranded with a flat auto tire in Christiansburg on our road trip from NJ to NC hauling a trailer. Berglund Mercedes had the often hard to find tire for our SUV. Having owned Mercedes GLs fir years, it had never been our experience to replace a tire w/o having to first place an order for the tire.We were thrilled that Berglund could accommodate our service needs on a Saturday morning and with a smile! Recently, I have been in the market again for a used car and Sonia Older has exceeded my expectations. Do not believe any prices listed or told to you. We went, found our ideal car in our price range, spent 3 days talking to the salesman doing our research and getting things in order to purchase, and when ready we went in to buy and the manager comes out of no where and says I dont know how this happened but the listed price is wrong, its more expensive wow... and there was no working with us about the mistake. This is terrible customer service. We did our research, talked with the sales person and right when we go to pull the trigger this happens? This is not our first time having problems with berglund but I can tell you this they will never get our business again. There was NOTHING done to make this situation right.

Advertise a BMW 2 series car for $26, 450 on line. When you call they tell you can buy it for $33,000. When challenged the salesman says he cant sell it for the posted price. So much integrity in business and standing behind their pricing. Id be wary of doing business here despite past reviews.

Would’ve loved to write a great review. Got out of the car, walked around the lot and looked at about 6 of the same car with my mother. No one came to help me. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t look very old, but I’m dressed well, my mother is dressed well, and I have the money. A not as well dressed man pulled up and as soon as he got out of his car, a sales associate came out of the building immediately. Still no one acknowledged me. So, I left and I will take my business elsewhere.

My fiancee was a 10 year, loyal, repeat customer of this dealership. She purchased multiple Mercedes Benz SUVs there and had all of her maintenance work performed there as well. However the recent changes in management there resulted in them losing her business, and it likewise cost them any future business from myself as well. The current manager was arrogant and disrespectful towards us, and his actions represent a significant decline in the superior customer service that was received here over the past 10 years. He and his boss were both very difficult to deal with as we tried to purchase a 2020 Mercedes Benz SUV. They both acted as if we were insignificant and as if they couldnt care less whether or not they sold a brand new vehicle. They took all of the fun and excitement out of the experience and we were basically forced to go to another Mercedes dealership just to spend our hard earned money. One would naturally expect a luxury car dealership to provide superior customer service and to try all that they could, within reason, to accommodate loyal, repeat customers when they were trying to buy yet another new vehicle from them, but this was definitely not the case. I think that they feel like, since they are the only game in town, so to speak, that they can just treat their customers any way that they want to. However, they fail to understand that here in the age of the internet that we, the customers, hold the cards and that it is OUR decision to purchase expensive vehicles where we are treated as we should be, and not however they felt like treating us here in Roanoke at Berglund Mercedes-benz. My fiancee also recently had her current vehicle serviced there, and they put on the invoice that they had washed and vacuumed her vehicle and topped off all of her fluids, but that was incorrect. When we picked up her vehicle, it had NOT been washed OR vacuumed, and she was out of windshield wiper fluid. I personally dont consider this INCREDIBLE SERVICE as they advertise on the internet. This used to be an outstanding dealership but I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend anyone doing business here under the current leadership. I gave them a one star review, but only because I had to give them one star - they actually deserve NO stars.

As a long time customer of Berglund, I knew I would get taken care of when I was ready for a new car. I met with the managers and explained what I wanted to do, and asked if they could help. I had requested they find me a car I personally couldnt find online anywhere in the state or nearby and they searched till they found the perfect car for me. Not only did they go above and beyond locating the car, but Alex and Sonia went to the next level checking the cars history and making sure that what I bought would be not only a good deal, but something I was happy with. Because the car had to be brought in from another state, I had the chance to speak with quite a few of the employees in the offices, and you cannot find a better staff to help you hands down. Even those that were not involved directly with my purchase went out of their way to ensure that I had an amazing experience with their dealership. The pride each and every one of them takes in their job is very easy to see and for that very reason is why I will always be a Berglund customer and send as many of my friends and family as possible to Berglund.

Before the sale everyone was very nice.... But after the sale was made I had the absolute WORST experience here.1. After completing a bill of sale on a car that was to be delivered from another dealer, there was no communication initiated by Berglund that there was a problem. After I resolved the problem with the other dealer, the car was delivered a week later than promised.2. My registration didnt show up on the DMV website 50 days after the sale (they have 30 days to notify DMV). I called and they knew there was a problem but didnt do anything about it, or notify me.3. The registration was never sent in to DMV. 55 days later I got pulled over because my tags werent registered.For buying such an expensive car I would have expected much better customer service, which is disappointing, since there are no other dealers in the area.

I love the dealership/service department in Roanoke! Scott Garner has been taking care of my LR4 for almost 5 years. Im in the Lynchburg area and they dont mind driving over an hour one way to pick up my vehicle for oils changes and in other needed maintenance. They always bring me a Landrover to drive and are quick to accommodate my schedule. The facility is always nice and clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I have made quite a few friends since becoming a customer...

I seldom write reviews, unless it is something extraordinary. I also never look forward to negotiating for a new car. However, my experience with Berglund Jaguar was one of the best I have ever had. I worked with Mack Douglas (center manager) and he was upfront and transparent from the beginning. Ashley Pannell also provided any information that I requested, including sending me pictures and even a video of the car I was looking at. Mack kept his word on everything he promised and even went beyond the call of duty. For example, one night he had to send me an email, which he did on his own time from home, even though it was very late at night. My personal thanks to Mack and his team.

Brennon is very knowledgeable about the Infiniti line of automobiles and provides us with an accurate and honest assessment of needed repairs. He also lets us know what maintenance to expect will be needed soon, but not necessarily requiring immediate attention, which we appreciate. Along with that, hes friendly and very personable. Our car always comes back clean and running great.

I had been in the market for a Jag XK for some time and saw one advertised by Berglund. I emailed early in the morning and Frazier called within an hour or so. Talked me through the cars history, sent me a bunch of photos to order and even tried to sit in the rear seats to give me an honest opinion of how big they were and whether my kids would fit in there comfortably. To cut a long story short, I ended up buying the car over the phone, sight unseen. The car was trucked to me 2 days later and it was actually better than I had imagined. Frazier and Sonia were impeccable in the way they dealt with me and I could not have asked for more. Would definitely work with them again in a heartbeat and thoroughly recommend them to all and sundry. It doesnt get any better than this.

Garbage, Horrible service team service team = one person it takes them at least 2 weeks to get you in and are Extremely Rude if you call them on the phone to set it up. Avoid this place like the plague. To everyone on here that say this place is the gold standard there selling you pyrite and youre eating it up and paying like its gold but it isnt try els wear and you will see.

Ive been a customer with this location since it was Crossroads. I was relieved when Berglund took over since I was continually let down by Crossroads. At first, Berglund improved on the faults left from their predecessor. Unfortunately, they too have become lackadaisical. Recently, I scheduled an appointment to have 2 of my vehicles picked up by them for service on the same day. Well, only one driver showed up and could obviously only take one of the 2 scheduled cars. I called Berglund and they apologized that they had misread the work order. Im called later that afternoon saying the first car was ready. That was impossible since I had a lengthy list of things needing to be fixed. Well, that list of repairs never made it to the garage resulting in them keeping my car an additional 2 days. On the third day Im called by them asking if they can bring back the first car. I then ask about the 2nd car that was never picked up. They had no idea it wasnt serviced even though they apologized for not picking it up on day 1. So, we set up the next day to bring back car 1 and pick up car 2. They arrive with my first car fixed and a work order to get car 2 (they couldnt find 3 of the 5 issues car 1 was brought in for in the first place). Somehow, they end up taking back the loaner car I was provided and left the car AGAIN that was supposed to be picked up. I call to set up yet another appointment and Im told they cant help me for another 2 weeks.... To make things better, the car they brought back to me was returned with NO gas (strains fuel pump) on the coldest day of this season. I barely made it to a gas station. I had 0.2 gallons of gas left. Furthermore, they said they did a tire rotation and multi point inspection. Somehow, they missed the fact I had a low air pressure warning on one tire. When returned all 4 of my tires had lower pressure than before it was serviced.Update:When I took my Infiniti in and mentioned continual low tire pressure I was told there was nothing wrong and there were no leaks. Fortunately, I recently bought an air compressor and Im now able to fill the tire every 4 days at home because it leaks air that much. How they couldnt find a leak is beyond comprehension. Dont be fooled by the other good reviews. They pretend to care when youre buying a car, but after the sale they are hands down the worst dealership Ive ever had the unfortunate experience of encountering.

In October, I noticed my headlights fogged when the sun hit them or when the headlights were on and the condensation did not go away. When I brought the car in, Tammy Niles, Mercedes Service adviser, told me Mercedes stated this was normal. She said that even though the test showed this was normal (the condensation went away at room temperature) she would look into it further. The following day she called to tell me they would replace the headlights. I was very pleased that they took the extra step to make me happy. Not many, if any, dealerships would do this. They even touched up a fairly large scratch on my door handle, at no cost to me.The couple of times I was in the dealership, Brain Vess would stop to speak with me, Tammy offered me a loaner car, and she offered to wash my car. All service personnel gave me eye contact, said hi, asked if I needed anything etc., while I was there. Everyone made me feel welcome, in a down-to-earth way.I must add this. My husband has a 1986 Mercedes SLK, and he was having some problems with it. He took it to several places throughout the year Each place kept his car for 4-6 months, and they were unable to fix the problem, and charged him. My husband, who believed that Mercedes would rip him off with repairs, finally took it to Berglund Luxury of Roanoke. They found the parts and fixed the problem within a couple of months and then stored the car for a couple more months, since we were out of town. The cost to fix it was very reasonable and my husband was VERY pleased.
