Merchandise is all decent or above. Nothing that should be just trashed. Employees are always super nice. I love it. Srreet parking is sort of hard to find but just park at Grocery outlet and walk a block or 2.

Before I say anything else let me say this. Throughout my long and very enjoyable career in retail Ive seen a lot of things that made no sense whatsoever. But nothing could prepare me for my yesterdays visit to Savers. It turns out some genius came up with a full self service idea. In other words, they got rid of cashiers- period. What happens if youre coming home from work, youre exhausted and not in the mood to ring up your own transactions for 20 minutes? Oh, but the managements of Savers just doesnt care anymore. I seriously doubt they ever did. So Savers and I are parting company. For good. And I advise everyone who doesnt have a self esteem problem and doesnt enjoy behaving like a doormat or being treated with utter disrespect to do the same.

This place used to be awesome. But not anymore the clothes are TOO overpriced considering that are second hand items. Just buy new clothes.

Favorite thrift store. New self checkout are now available. Halloween costume selection is huge. Wish they brought back the dressing rooms.

I absolutely LOVE this place! Every time I visit I find something special. Tons of designer items from sunglasses, shoes, clothes, etc. Large selection of luggage and jewelry too. Nice home decor, art,books, and furniture. Very well organized, clean and super nice staff. If you love to thrift THIS is the place to go. Allow yourself plenty of time as its a big place. I have spent hours there.

This is a rather large thrift store, so there is always a great selection of clothes, toys, trinkets, electronics, books, pursues... you name it. I come out almost every time with more than I anticipated. The downside is that it’s always packed when I’m able to go on the weekends. Parking is not free on the nearby streets, and is also not very easy.

Hm, got told you weren’t allowed to try on clothes, while everyone close to me was. Racially motivated? I think yes . Used to go here all the time when I was little. Plain Sad.

This Savers is awesome! Everything is so well organized and there was so much great stuff. I picked up five great books for my toddler (and a bunch were half off at 64 cents!), including a potty training book, Madeline, and Rainbow Fish! I also picked up a toddler outfit and a 100% wool long sleeve for myself. Id come here over Goodwill any day. Parking is a pain right now with all of the construction but you can just park at Grocery Outlet a few minutes walk away.

The employees are incredibly friendly! I found a gorgeous large floor vase that I plan on painting for my home decor. We also found some great books (theres a great book selection), as well as a wooden tray and a smaller vase that were super excited to use.The only thing I would say is try to get a parking spot on the street right in front of the store because theres some people living outside that made me a bit uncomfortable. Also, I feel like this should be a general rule of thumb, but I wouldnt buy electronics here or from any thrift stores in general.

I only spent about an 30min here and walked away with an awesome 100% wool /designer top. I saw people with carts full of treasures too! This place is huge and has little to no parking but you will for sure find something in clothes or accessories! ( their home section looked amazing too!)

Big thrift store with a large selection of used, donated goods everything upstairs is the kids clothes, toys, etc. And everything else is downstairs.

I love Savers in general and definitely this one is my favorite. I love the large selection, I always find more than what Im looking to buy. And theres really nice staff there I have befriended because Im always there hunting for the next treasure!

I have thrift shopped at many stores, and this has been one of my favorites. found some great items here for reasonable prices. Very large.

Parking was a pain but the prices can’t be beat! Unfortunately with covid the dressing rooms are closed but I got tons of super fancy expensive jeans for $6-$7 each. Felt like a steal! I loved everything I bought here and what was too small I just gave to my nieces.Wish I lived closer, I would come here more often!

If you need to clear out your closets you can donate and drop them off at the back of the store. I donated a bunch of clothes and shoes that were still in good condition.

Very busy! I purchased very nice professional clothes. Store was clean and well staffed. Cashier was kind and gave me discount tip!

I always find a good deal at Savers. Its been my most favorite thrift store ever. I also donate here. Id rather shop at Savers than Good Will or Salvation Army because their prices are so much higher. I bought my bedroom desk here. You can find good things if you give the store a chance.

So glad they are open again! COVID protocols are in place in the store, so hopefully they can stay open during the next lockdown

I’ve shopped at Savers for about ten years now. I’ve always been a huge fan because the store is well organized and they had a great selection, but this past year I find their prices have significantly risen ! It’s a shame to find dresses or sweaters at twice the price now than they would’ve been two years ago ..

Purchased electrical items that did not work..returned with receipt but since I didnt bring back with original plastic bag with price tag,..they did not take items back.i told manager ( tamiko ) that clerk told me the night before, that I only needed receipt and I can exchange for something else or get credit but manager refused anyway to help.I told manager that policy is not clearly stated to all customers when buying items but also that they are packaging and selling items that dont work ...its like stealing from all consumers.May I remind everyone that we donate items to places like this but their job it to make sure electrical items work and not mislead or defraud consumers.

Disclaimer: I am a fan of Savers. The clothing runs the gambit from trash to treasure. The prices are good. If you know what you want and shop wisely you can save money and the planet. Used clothing is one of the best environmental savings possible. In a world of consumerism, fast fashion, and political division try something old...shop at thrift stores!

Always an adventure in what you might find, never mind the need to have it. I found treasures there I am still using and displaying today, like a hand painted jar signed by the artist from Spain, and a Coco Joe from Hawaii in the form of a fertility goddess, and much, much more. Prices are incredibly affordable and it is truly a blessing for all the parents that come in there to buy toys and books for their kids and can afford to do so. Redwood City is lucky to have such a considerate service for their residents. And with the Grocery Oulet, one can say we have it all. Those who live here are so lucky and yes we do deserve it.

Great prices, great selection, what more can you ask for in a thrift store? At least they dont take all the good items and sell them online so that people from the community cant get to it. This store ensures that all their best items are priced affordably and are returned back to the community that donated it.

Hit or miss in terms of what you find here. If you visit often you can snag a good piece of furniture or useful appliance. Electronics pricing is a bit insane most of the time, >.

OMG my all time favorite second hand shop, located downtown Redwood City. Great variety of used items n the prices you will not believe especially for furniture n accessories! Recently updated their system and now you can become a loyal member just with your cell no n earn points which are converted to cash credits you redeem at checkout. Another great reason to shop here!!

Each store is not created equal! The store in Redwood City has a very poor selection, and bought a pair of pants that smell like urine when I got it home! Theres a better store in Redwood City called Thrift Center which has much better quality of clothing and its merchandised in a better way

All merchandise was well kept aisle clean and clear customer service was great.I recommend it. I be to other like Savers and I really liked my shopping experience.

This is the only place I know that will accept used bedding. I have Anthropologie comforters that I no longer need and it was a pain getting turned away by other thrift stores for quality bedding! The staff was rocking out to some punk band and were pretty enthusiastic about sharing the nonprofit mission that donations and sales contribute to. Ive found a great vintage dresser that I refurbished for $20 here and there is a good selection of kitchen utensils and housewares like baking pans that you can stock up on at the fraction of new.

One of the worst thrift stores Ive ever been to. No parking and if you want to park you have to pay the meter. The place is very dirty with subpar merchandise. The kids area look like a hurricane had hit it. I was very disappointed. The Dublin store is much nicer and the layout is much better they should take a lesson from them.

Its a great store with 2 floors. Prices are usually reasonable. Nice staff too. Its hard to park in this area.

Goodwill knows that people try and find super bargains there, so they jack their prices way up. Savers is still awesome in that their pricing is relatively low, and have their half off days and punch cards regularly. The layout of clothes is easy to navigate, and their staff is friendly.

Clean organized store, you can find a good selection of barely used and new items.

Amzing prices with a great variety always changing though so it depends on luck somedays they have amaing things others not so much but always the best prices around

This place has a good selection of stuff but the prices are a little high. I prefer the thrift store in the San Carlos on El Camino.

Great selection. Can usually find good brands in good condition. Electronics and household items are hit or miss.

Old yucky place. Theres a huge leak in the womens section from the air conditioning that only makes noise but doesnt really work. It was hot and musty in there. Poor selection and the place is very small. I like the ones in Dublin and Berkeley MUCH better.

Had heard a lot of great things about these places... still keeping an open mind but i didnt find anything here... all the mens cloths were beat and more expensive then i could find at other thrift stores... the sraff was great and very helpful... the bathroom was out of order and we had to go to Cuty Hall to find one... the place was very dirty and dusty... I will try other Savers but it is doubtful i will go to this one again.

Who determines the pricing here? Way over priced for Junk, or should I say products that been donated to you for free. 70% of everything is over priced. Id rather just purchase new. Its fun and interesting to look at products from the old days, but this store is just over priced.
