Charge a $1.50 for air!!! Definitely never getting gas here.. they are lucky if I still make it over for food. Wish I could give it more stars

One of the best grocery stores in the area.Prices are competitive, especially in their meats,which has the largest variety of any grocery chain. A large self checkout makes shopping easy

I was thrilled to see 3 cashier lanes open in addition to the self check-out! After spending time on my feet while walking through grocery stores, Im too exhausted for self check-out & dont like using them in general; thats why I was glad & grateful that a Giant cashier rang up my purchases...this cashier deserves a shout out - thank you Elijah for your excellent, kind, & friendly service yesterday! I was impressed and left the store in a good mood! You deserve a raise or at least some type of bonus reward ☺👍

Good seafood. Fresh meat and produce medium price range

Normally I never have issues at Giant. I shop here frequently. September 19 was short of a fiasco. I have my cart loaded go into a lane and the cashier is standing there just staring into space?? I want to start putting my groceries on the belt however it was filthy. I asked the staring cashier if he would mind cleaning the belt as I was not putting any food products on it. He cleaned the belt. Ok I had 2 orders he rang the first order consisting of 3 items and that was fine. The second order was huge..I was bagging but help was needed. Long story short cashier got another and at this point they are just throwing food into bags. I went to get another cart and said I will need help getting these carts to my car. Deer in the headlights look once again. I recruited 2 employees to help me. These 2 were awesome..helpful..very kind. I spent in excess of $250.00 and I looked at the receipt yesterday he never scanned my bonus card so now I overpaid $22.65. I am going to contact Giant and see if I can get a refund. Giant please when you hire just dont put a body behind the cash register..they need to be able to think as well.

Smooth shopping experience. Great selection of beers and wines, although Id love to see more IPAs. Self checkout was seamless and we were out the door!

My Giant is frequently out of things, bare shelves. For most of the summer the parking lot had lots of trash on it, seems somewhat better lately. The store was much better years ago.

Lately they havent had anything in stock! Why is cranberry sauce out of stock in July? Gatorade is another huge thing because its summer and I havent seen any the last 3x Ive shopped here. I always go during the week so I figured they wouldve restocked since the weekend1 month later and still the same issue on a Thursday. No breakfast food whatsoever in the frozen section.

The worst customer service experience. They are very rude.

Went for lunch meat only. I believe it took almost 45 minutes...withonly 1 person ahead of me. The 2 people working the deli counter should transfer to another dept. They never even acknowledged we were there. Lack of people skills aside, their pace or lack there of was frustrating to say the least. I tan faster.

Liked being here was werid that I got followed around the store because of them thinking I was stealing 😅 goes to show you how badly they treat ppl on top of that I had my emotional support animal there and I was bamboozled with hate from one of the employees

Really enjoyed this Giant location. Great selection and had all items I needed. My only issue was the checkout process. There were lines of people going out into the main walkway, some 3 or 4 peoples worth, and only 2 registers were open. I was going to go to self checkout, but theine was doubly as long and only half the registers were open there. I wound up waiting at least 20 minutes to checkout. I will definitely come back but hope the checkout process is a lot smoother next time.

Everything is pretty much easy to find as long as its in season! The people are very friendly. They have great deals going on. Its generally a pleasant place to shop.

Convenient location, easy access & parking, very clean & well maintained facility with professional staff, fair pricing and great selections.

Very well laid out store. Although lately more generic products and not always stocked with popular brands.My favorite hot food there would have to be their fried chicken. Fantabulous best describes it. They could do a little better with open cashiers though.

This Giant location is great. It looks clean. Great selection of foods. The best part is the people that work there are exceptional, friendly and always eager to help. I could not thank them enough for finding my ins. Cards and drivers license that dropped out of my wallet. To my relief, they had the items. I do not know who actually found them but I am internally be thankful.

Very crowded. We waited 25 minutes in line. Then, the cashier broke. To top it all off, we had a very rude cashier. She yanked something from the person in front of us. She was practically yelling at her. She had an attitude. Her name was Kathy and she had short blonde hair. Hope this employee fixes this and the issue is fixed for the sake of other costumers.

Hard to know if you have the sale price or not on some items.

They consistently have a problem with items not ringing up correctly. Sale items dont ring up the correct price. Old sale signs are left up for weeks after the sale is over. When the price errors are pointed out, its met with total indifference. Its also an expensive store to do all of your shopping at. On the plus side, they have good quality produce, bakery items, and a large selection.These grapes are under a sign that says $2.49/lb, but they ring up $2.99. That was a $1.04 error on my receipt. You either waste your money over paying, or waste your time in line waiting for them to refund your money.

Great store, has a good variety of stuff. Sometimes it can get pretty busy though so lines can be a bit long.

Great place to shop

For the first time, I used the Giant Direct grocery pick up. There was some confusion due to email I received. I called and the woman I spoke to was so pleasant and courteous. We got things figured out easily. Plus, there were some thngs on my list that had to be substituted. Again, very helpful and courteous.Then, the young lady who put the groceries in my car was very courteous and sweet.This is such a great servive in these crazy times. This experience was wonderful and I will definitely use this service again.Just unloaded the groceries- PAPER bags. Im over the moon. ❤👍

Dont normally come to this location, but I did find it had a better Hispanic food section, along with a decent amount of International choices. Not as much prepared food here as West Lawn, and slightly smaller beer garden. Otherwise in line and laid out similar to other local Giant stores.

Horrible. Waiting for food at deli for 1 hour

Picked up a couple little things today. Ironically the cleaning supplies were either miss marked or not marked at all. When I went to purchase them, the supplies were extremely overpriced. Price gouging. It’s a good thing I looked at my receipt and took the items off.No hand scanners for heavy items....It’s extremely inconvenient during this time.

This grocery store is a joke!

I found everything and then some!I didnt appreciate that there wasnt any help bagging my groceries and the cashier started with the next costomer before I was finished clearing my things. 😤

Always clean with fresh food and a wide selection to choose from. Their hot food made in store is great, as well as salad bar; pricing isnt too bad. I enjoy going here, especially when I want something different.

Yesterday I visited the Shillington Giant to pick up a prescription. I was greeted outside the store by an employee who directed me to the entrance at the opposite end of the parking lot. Im sure this is an attempt to comply with social distancing recommendations and control the flow of traffic. The employee had no mask or protective gear of any kind. Since I was going to the pharmacy, using this entrance actually maximized my exposure to other people since it caused me to have to walk past all the people in the checkout lines. Plexi-glass shields have been installed to separate the pharmacy technician from the customers and the technician put on a mask and gloves before assisting me. The key pad for credit card purchases has also been covered to minimize direct contact. I was able to exit through the door nearest the pharmacy. The employee I encountered when entering the store was now outside talking to a coworker, not maintaining the recommended 6 feet of separation. While in the store I was impressed to see that like myself, most customers were wearing gloves and face masks. However, the majority of store employees were not...in one of the food aisles there were 4 or 5 employees, unprotected, not adhering to 6 foot distancing, stocking shelves. Not only were they too close to each other, but they were making it impossible for shoppers in that aisle to maintain a safe distance from each other. These are trying times for all of us. I feel strongly that everyone should be attempting to adhere to the recommendations of the medical community during this time.

The store itself is fine, however the staff leaves much to be desired. I was doing self checkout, minding my own business on a Wednesday night. I walk out of the store and the young male self-checkout attendant yells “Never come back!” What the heck? Who says that to a customer? Really weird experience, I won’t be spending my money here again. [If management staff needs more info on the attendant, I’d be happy to provide.]

Store was clean, staff was helpful and nice. However theres a bean aisle and the baked beans arent in it. Theyre in the aisle over (which isnt marked with beans;like the bean aisle) also they didnt have Bushs Sweet Heat Baked Beans.

Basic grocery store that has an okay amount of vegan options, but not nearly as many as the surrounding Giants. Staff is usually nice and helpful, but Marty gets in the way a lot. He can be rather loud some times.There isnt much of an option for non traditional veggies or fruits.

I like this place b/c of its cleanliness, andavailability of disability scooters!!

Five star for customer experience and short billing wait time. Just name it whether cakes, fresh chicken, fresh vegetables, poultry products, we used to shop every week when I was in this neighborhood. I would say difficult to find same experience in near by neighborhood.Some times GIANT mailed coupons are bonus.

Pharmacy service is reliable and highly professional. Meats and produce ways fresh.

Its Convenient and reliable, they also make sure safety is first with there mask requirements and other precautions.

I love shopping at Giants

I absolutely love their bakery! Ive tried other locations for birthday cakes and none of them come even close to the Shillington location. Recently ordered an 80s cake for my daughter. Huge hit! Delicious and decorated perfectly!

The shelves are half empty and only 3 cashers

Love my GIANT!!!! Everyone is so nice there!!! Iris, at the customer service desk...extremely helpful!!! :-) never have any issues and when I do, they really make amends as much as they can which is saying a lot. Love the pharmacy peeps, they are super wonderful...but there is a new girl there and I dont think she quite knows what she is doing back there...thats a little scary :(

This is a great grocery store and I shop there often since its very close to my home. I only gave it four stars because they often times dont have the items I frequently buy, and have to make an extra trip to another store. Its very inconvenient. I really wish they would carry all the items that most of the other grocery store carry.

Giant practices social distancing, They put up dividers at the self checkouts, and they clean and sterilize thier carts. I always feel safe going in here to shop, not to mention thier good sales prices and delicious items at thier Bakery!!!

A little expensive

I normally shop at Giants in shillington and I know right now with everything going on everybodys doing the whole distancing and following protocols and procedures but theyre not taking any exchange or return but I noticed that some people leave their carts with food or items that they dont purchase. Question? what are you doing with those items, Im assuming theyre going back to where they came from so why I cant exchange my items.

Why I will never tell someone to apply to Giant on Lancaster avenue or will be going in anytime soon RANT. So I had gotten disrespected and embarrassed by customer service. I walked out of the store in tears. And when my boyfriend came in to defend me and question why they were acting this way. They had nothing to say for themselves. As well as the store manager tried to defend the actions of the employees involved disgusting. I was only there to get an interview done. Not to be disrespected and embarrassed. I am pregnant. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Very unorganized and unprofessional at the Deli two ladies were working back there one was doing Kiosk orders and one was working on grab and go they never even acknowledged us just kept working the assistant manger of the store told me those orders come first before customers seems to me grab and go can wait if a customer is waiting for service they should be waited on they made us stand there along with other customers until a young man came back from break to get waited on that’s a shame hirer more workers or pull someone from a another department but they shouldn’t be aloud to let a customer stand there like they don’t exist bc they are working on app orders or grab and go

Friendly employees that are helpful. Almost everything I need under one roof. Never once had a customer service or other issue here. Great team.

What can I say about giant it is my Friendly Neighborhood Grocery Store where I can get just about anything I want or I need for my familys food related items. Now of course you cannot find everything. But thats just how it is with stores you cant find everything you want all the time but as far as pricing goes giant is fairly decent priced.

It was a very quick trip. I knew what I needed and everything was so easy to find. The store is labeled very well and the self checkout is easy to use.

Love this giant. They have more of a selection than the Sinking Spring Giant in my opinion. Especially when it comes to the organic section. Both Giants have great customer service though.

This Giant is very clean and the people are nice. The lines go by fast, and the deals on food they have are very convenient. The customer service line does get lengthy a lot, and theres this lady there that sometimes talk over the intercom, but you cant understand her because its so fast and muffled! Its like the mic is up to her mouth. Other than that, this Giant I would recommend.

Ive been shopping here for almost 25 years now. Needless to say I wll recommend it to anyone.

I must say, I wasnt expecting to have a pleasant shopping experience tonight. Theyre calling for snow tomorrow and I (like everyone else) needed some items to last me the weekend. The produce was well stocked, even the items on sale which is more than I can say for 5th street which is where I usually go. And the man that assisted me at the deli tonight was so kind and happy. He was the only one working and I could tell he probably had a lot of orders to fill and there were 2 people behind me but he was smiling the whole time and I appreciated that. The only problem I have, and not just with this Giant but most grocery stores, they only had 1 checkout lane open. I had about 30 items which is frustrating to handle at self checkout. Not everyone can shop before 9 pm. I wish theyd open more registers. But overall, Ill keep coming back to this one for the friendly employees and well stocked items.

Big and well organized, just wish the dairy section was closer to the registers, lunch break pressed for time.

No enforcement of the mask policy. Even the employees dont know how to wear them over their noses.
