I was so impressed with the people working at this location. My 5 year old son is obsessed with Pokémon and was talking everyone’s ears off in the store about Lugia. The manager was so sweet and made him a little goodie bag with Pokémon promo cards and my son was so excited. Made my day too.

Love my Gamestop!!! Shareholder and faithful customer. Went for a ps4 controller they didnt have it in stock. Neither did best buy or Walmart. Its all good shopping here for yoyr gaming needs is still better than waiting 3 wks for amazon to deliver

Ive always had a good experience at this gamestop. I live near raytown but I usually do my shopping in Lees Summit or Overland Park, but this GameStop has always had what we needed and been very helpful. With three kids and a husband that love video games they can be high maintenance as far as what theyre looking for, and this GameStop always leaves us satisfied.

I experienced what I believe to be discrimination I came in to sell a ps4 pro and was turned away because of what seems to be “bug droppings “ I took the ps4 elsewhere and received 140$ for it.Honestly I’ve bought and sold with Greg for a while I thought this was very unreasonable, I don’t have problems with pest, rodents insects exct”. So I know for a fact there where no bug droppings in my system however in Greg’s “experience” they were bug droppings and apparently there’s a store policy against that ses Greg, how ever I did sell the system and won’t be coming back to GameStop I had similar experiences’ @ other gamesstop locations and believe I should spend some where else.

My first time in this location, as I drove out to make an exchange. Sabrina (I think!) was super helpful and got me in and out quickly. I will definitely consider this location in the future! Also seems very tidy and visually pleasing, as opposed to my more frequent Gamestop location. :)

This company is a big joke! I bought for my kids for Christmas a switch game lost the Receipt I am a pro member and it’s supposed to keep track of your last five purchases and this is not on it. They won’t let me trade it in and get a different game because it’s still brand new in the wrapping. Won’t be back here. There are plenty of other places to buy games from.

The folks in here are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I enjoy the atmosphere as someone who is not an avid gamer but just buying things for his ten-year-old. The only negative I really have is that they rarely have pre-owned versions all of the games we really want.

Usually this place is great but the woman I talked to on the phone was telling me that when my order comes in for store pickup that I won’t be able to get it because they “won’t have my info”....which is confusing but okay. She told me she must be confused and I said I guess so and she hung up on me.....so.....terrible customer service from whoever the heck that was....

One of the few places to visit if you like video games. Very knowledgeable staff. Will keep you entertained with their gaming exploits. Great spot for nerding out with other gamers. As great as the staff is it still sucks when they follow you around the store constantly.

This GameStop is great. The staff were all helpful and friendly. They have a decent selection of games, gaming accessories, and collectibles. Its also conveniently located next to restaurants and a grocery store if you need some gaming fuel!

Stopped in to my local GameStop while out running errands last weekend and wanted to comment on the patience I witnessed from both the associates working- especially Candice.I think pretty much everybody has come to terms with the fact that GameStop doesnt pay anything close to retail for used games... everybody except the neighborhood methhead, apparently. Despite having more than two customers finally get fed up enough to say something to him, he still felt that making a scene about the $1,000 a month he spends there was going to get him a better offer for the game he bought the day before and only took the plastic off so he could bring it back.Anyway... point is Candice did great with her customer service game, just sucked seeing someone up against something where there wasnt an obvious Win, figured Id chime in with a judges opinion from the field.

I know how you all make your money (Thanks for deleting my review) you guys sold me a game ALREADY USED I should add my total ended about 18 dollars a couple days later I went to return the game I didnt have all the equipment that the game needed they said I could only get three dollars in store credit... HOW? the game was not new... It was used...not even played and in perfect condition and i could only get three dollars in store credit I think not... You guys need to make it known that if you return the game you wont get the same amount back that you paid for it. IT NEEDS TO BE SAID it should be policy to be told to the customer so they know what their wasting their money on. By the way if you delete this review I will be calling your corporate.

Awesome selection and great customer service, although they need to have at least two cashiers even on Sunday. The service could be better and faster, all gamers want to get a new game, pay for it and hurry back to play it ... Not wait. Just a suggestion.

11-30-2019 Jacob who works at the game stop in Raytown Missouri on 350 highway gave me a Xbox game instead of a PlayStation game. I did not check my bag like I probably should have, but forgive me for thinking they were competent enough to actually put the right game in my bag. So when I try to bring it back the same day within an hour, Jacob the same guy that sold me the game, the same guy that put the wrong game in my bag, refused to do even exchange for the right game. How about you guys just do the right thing Since you guys were the ones that made the mistake. Instead All they could do was give me $10 for a game that I just paid over $30.00for one hour ago. This whole store is a joke, it’s trashy and the employees can care less. The manager acted like he couldn’t give me a minute of his time. He was trying to avoid the whole situation. Great management.

My experiences here are always good ones! The staff here are always friendly and helpful, even when theres a crowd! I would recommend becoming a PowerUp Rewards member, because the membership gets you more for your trades and all preowned games are discounted for you. Only thing is that the store is a bit small, so you may be in for a tight squeese when theres more than a few people in at once.

Confusing. I came in to get a game, and I left with a different game because I wasnt sure if the game I wanted contained the full game on the disk or if I had to download the whole game. The staff werent helpful in answering my questions at all.

Grumpy service. Had my trade credit stolen from a scammer who used a weakness in GameStops customer service system. Neither the store nor the national customer service line cared at all. They did nothing to get my money back, and nothing to the person who stole from me.

Well assistant manager Candice.. I hope you being extremely unprofessional, disrespectful and rude about a couple of very simple questions I asked when picking up my new copy of FC5 was worth losing my business... Although you as a company may not care very much.. Ive been a long term customer of this store and company since you first opened up and hardly ever have had an issue with management or employees there, and certainly not enough to leave a Google review. I will be taking my business to Best Buy from now on.. At least when I go there all the management makes me feel welcome and act like they actually want to be there. I will also be leaving a review with the information on the receipt to better personally explain the rude and snobby experience ASM Candice presented to me in just the few minutes that we were there. I give it 4 stars. All in all this is a great store. I only have one complaint. This seems to be the only gamestop where i continuously keep getting handed new open games because the case needed displayed. However once a game is opened and has fingerprints on it its used. Im not paying full price for a used Game. Also there has been 2 games Ive bought just for the DLC and the codes didnt work. Im not asking for a discount I just ask when they have a sale on a new game they should make sure its stocked. And not with just the open disc

Ive never seen a bigger mess in my life! To be un-named this locations gamestop manager(s) is just outright rude. They are condescending to their employees in front of customers, they are even more condescending to their customers in front of employees and other customers. I dont know how many times Ive seen it or have been a victim of this, but if I had a penny.... lolThen when something should be done it doesnt get done properly because the franchize cant lose someone or doesnt want to train someone else. I get it, being a manager of a particular store is very stressful and I understand that people have their good days and their bad days but when you act like that every time a recurring customer is in your store then maybe something should be checked on. What is even worse is when there are multiple people saying the same thing.Its not just this location, Independence has a manager who is like that who Ive personally seen chase someone out of their store, hoped in their car and followed the customer....The Westport branch Ive seen the same type of attitude.

I have recently recieved horrible customer service at this location. I do not know of the employees name for she did not want to share. She argued with me as I wanted cash back instead of store credit for a returned game.It is very possible that ive mistakenly answered yes to her question about wanting to recieve store credit, yet in this 100 degree weather, I exclaimed how i could have made a mistake; yet, she continued to inform me that the process to cancel the transaction was very intricate. Her attitude is what prompted me to write this review. All in all, I love Gamestop and will continue to be a valued customer, but ill have to change stores to avoid that particular treatment.As she has stated, she does not give out her name but did inform me that the store number was #7661. Today, Thursday the 21st, around 4 pm.Thank you
