I recently bought a used car from Prestige Toyota of Ramsey. Buying a car is always a stressful time but thanks to Emmanuel from Prestige Toyota of Ramsey I had a surprisingly pleasant experience. Emmanuel went above and beyond to help me with my car purchase. He stayed late and longer hours to answer all of my inquiries, went out of his to retrieve cars in service center for me to look at and test drive, and was extremely communicative via phone and email. I am very impressed with how Prestige Toyota Ramsey treat their customers. The reason I had to visit the service department was because I was missing the key that opens the wheel locks. I was directed to the service manager who directed me to the parts manager and they gave me a whole new set of wheel locks with a key. I was invited to have coffee or tea and requested to sit in any area that I feel comfortable. The service center is very clean and the people there are very professional and pleasant. Mohammed was great fit my budget and got me a great deal

I havent had much luck at this dealership. When I purchased my car, I was told it would come with an automatic starter and navigation to locate the car in a busy parking lot when you forget where you park. Unfortunately, none of this came with the vehicle. The salesman tried to make it right by having the service center install an automatic start on his dime. After installation, the manager of the service center didnt seem to know much about my vehicle or the automatic start. He proceeded to test it out with me. The automatic start started the car but as soon as you open the door to get in, it cuts off. Why in the world would I want an automatic start that turns off when you open the door? That defeats the purpose!!! Clearly, I wont be getting much use of that. I just had a visit yesterday for my 5k maintenance. It took about an hour even though I had an appointment so plan accordingly. I looked at the paperwork and they said they inspected my mats which annoyed me because Toyota provided no mats in my car and I paid for weathertech mats that I dont need them pulling out and dirtying up my car. What I thought was a cool feature here is that they always include a free car wash. I get to my car and there are dirty water spots all over my review mirrors and windows. You couldnt have dried it off? Its not like its cold outside. Also, there was still dirt on my car so there car wash is a joke. I brought the car in looking cleaner than when it came out. Not a fan! Im only giving 3 stars because there are some nice people who work there.

My family and I were welcomed with a smile and left with even a bigger smile. Mr. Mohamed was very helpful and diligent throughout the whole process in purchasing our new car. Not only were we satisfied with his knowledge on everything but also extremely grateful for his patience. He made the process easy to understand and quick. Sal was also very knowledgeable throughout the finance process and explained thoroughly all the paperwork that we had to sign off on. In addition the staff was very welcoming including Osirs Cruz. I am very happy with the car itself. The reps were also very nice and helpful during the sale, and even stayed late for us.I am very unhappy with the service after the car was purchased, specifically the registration process:The sales rep took days to respond to each email, and did not give enough information when they did respond.The sales rep asked for my proof of residence two weeks after purchase. We had provided it when we purchased the car, but the rep insisted they didnt have it. I had to forward the email where we originally sent it. I assume this delayed our registration unnecessarily.I had to physically go to the dealership to get an answer about my temporary license, which was about to expire, despite emailing about it weeks beforehand. Only then I was told that I had to come in on expiration date to get a new one. When I said I wasnt free that day, they said theyd overnight the plates. The problem is that they overnighted the plates to the dealership, so I had rearrange work to go anyway.The car itself is great, but the service is unreliable and unresponsive.

I went recently went to purchase my second car from their used car selection; I was helped my Mohamed who was extremely friendly and eager to answer any questions I had. I recently decided to trade in my 2012 Toyota Highlander, which had some water damage, and lease a 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid XLE. I loved having my old Highlander and dealing with Prestige Toyota of Ramsey in the past. I had purchased my old car there and also had it serviced there over the years, so I did not hesitate to go to their showroom to find a new car. My sales associate for this transaction was Mike Forte, who is a very likable, knowledgeable and considerate guy. Mike helped me every step of the way, was informative, communicated often and basically went out of his way to make sure I was happy with my choice. It really was a pleasure dealing with Mike and all the other staff at the showroom. This was my first time looking for a new car without any help from my husband and I felt very comfortable speaking and dealing with Mike. He took care of everything and even made it possible for me to get the color choice I wanted by looking at the inventory arriving the next week and suggesting I wait to get exactly want I wanted. Within two weeks I was driving away with my brand-new car, was able to trade in my old care for a decent price and was very happy with the leasing arrangement and price. All in all, a very pleasant experience and a sales associate, Mike Forte, and dealership I would highly recommend. 😊

My experience with prestige Toyota was awesome. First of all we was attended without an appointment, and immediately the sells representative, Hermes Peña attended us. I immediately told him the first thing I wanted to do was have a test drive with a Toyota Tacoma. Hermes gave me the keys and for my surprise he let me do the test drive alone with my son. After the test drive I chose the Toyota Tacoma as my next vehicle. The entire paperwork process was smooth and professional.My son and I were very comfortable making a deal with Hermes and the Toyota’s employee family. I was so glad to know that I could trade my Mini Cooper for my new Toyota. There was nothing wrong with my loving Mini Cooper but did to certain circumstances I had to change to a truck.Thank you very much to all the Toyota family and God bless to all.

The worst dealership ever. They are available only when you are willing to buy a car. After the purchase, you are on your own. I bought my car it is been a month and haven’t received my registration and plate. They gave me temporary tag which is now expiring tomorrow . I called and nobody is helping me . They kept transferring me back and forth.

10/19/21. Very dishonest. Over the phone they make you believe the car is in stock. When you arrive you are told that you can order one at a $6,000 mark up. What a waste of time. I have leased a Highlander, Sienna and a Camry from this dealership. I am never coming back.

Cannot recommend this dealership. They have advertised prices that are not the price when you get there. For example, one price listed online, +$4k when you arrive because they claim they can charge more due to supply and demand due to the shortage of cars - fair enough, just advertise it that way so I dont show up with a different expectation. After discussing this, salesman told me he recommends I search for a different car. I am pretty sure he believes I am poor and cant afford the car so was trying to punt me.

Im so glad I chose Prestige Toyota to buy my next car. This will be my second Toyota in a row from Prestige. My first one was 15 years old when someone crashed into me and totalled it otherwise it would still be running. Bought roof racks online with my VIN number, and they didnt fit. I returned the roof racks, and was advised I missed a number in the VIN. The service desk advised that they could not give a return receipt when I returned the item, which sounded very shady, so I insisted on something in writing, which I kindly got. Fast forward over a month later and no refund has been issued. I called and was given the line to call back when a manager was around. I then emailed and four days later, no response. I eventually was forced to file claim with my credit card company and jump through more hoops.

We came up from Maryland to view a 2018 Toyota xse Camry. Micheal Garcia was outstanding in his service, professionalism and knowledge from start to finish. He made sure we were accommodated from the moment we stepped in until we pulled off the lot. He also worked his magic to get us a fair price(in a tough used car market) . I went in for 1 specific used truck. I had seen it online and wanted to drive it to see if it was right for us. Andy Eagle was the best. No pressure, willing to negotiate, and I always felt he had my best interests at heart. The whole negotiating process took less than an hour! He came back with a fair price! There were some issues with the truck and he promised to have them all taken care of when I came back to pick up the truck. SORRY BUT I CANNOT GIVE A GOOD ONE. I SENT MY FIANCE, GEORGE, TO BRING THE CAR IN FOR SERVICE. HE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES TO BE INFORMED OF WHAT WORK WAS NEEDED BUT NO ONE DID - UNTIL THE INVOICE CAME. IT SHOWED THAT THE TIRES WERE ROTATED WHICH I FEEL WAS NOT NECESSARY AS I WAS CHARGED THE PREVIOUS SERVICE FOR IT - AND WITH THE PANDEMIC WE HAVE TRAVELED ONLY LOCALLY. BY THE WAY, WE BROUGHT THE CAR FOR SERVICING BECAUSE OUR TIRE PRESSURE WAS LOW. WHEN GEORGE LEFT THE SERVICE CENTER, HE NOTICED THAT THE LIGHT WAS STILL ON. HE DROVE BACK TO HAVE IT DONE! IS IT COMMON PRACTICE TO ROTATE THE TIRED AND NOT CHECK IF THE TIRE PRESSURE IS OK? THE SERVICE CENTER WAS RELOCATED FROM THE ONE I HAVE BROUGHT MY CAR FOR MANY, MANY YEARS. I HAVE LOST MY CONFIDENCE!

He got me a 2018 Toyota Highlander with less than 30K miles (like new) for a great price. Also the Finance Manager OC is great. Best explanation ever when youre signing all the paperwork. Walked into the dealership not knowing what to expect and was met by a salesman named Joshua Merilus. Joshua went out of his way to show us numerous vehicles and take said vehicles out on test drives and answer every question that me and my wife and daughter asked him. He went above and beyond helping us and after seeing how professional and accommodating he was towards us, we wound up leasing a new RAV 4 from him. My girlfriend & I went on a Friday to see a car she was interested in. Although it was very close to closing time salesman Joshua took the time to show us multiple cars. My girlfriend was undecided so we came back Saturday morning where he had MASSIVE Patience with her because she wanted to see and compare all the cars. He brung all the cars up to the front and worked with us for HOURS. He made sure the car was inspected AND detailed for her. He was an amazing help. Never rushed us and understood everything. Amazing service wanted to give a big thanks to our salesperson Hermes & finance manager Chris. DO NOT BUY A USED CAR HERE! We bought a used vehicle from Ramsey Toyota and they hid the actual mileage from us. The vehicle was advertised as a lease return with 35K on it, the real mileage was close to 80K. They now refuse to answer my calls after learning of the issue. Buyers beware of this business and any affiliated businesses!!!

I would give NO stars if I could. Salesperson was very pushy and only cared about getting me into anything he could, just so he could get his sale. He even tried to sell me a car extremely outside the price range he specifically asked me for. I also said I already had financing, but he repeatedly tried to get me to see the dealerships finance dept to get them to do my financing. Every question I had was answered with I dont know or Im not sure. The dealership also tried to add Non-tax fees of a few hundred dollars, which no one could give an explanation or description of what they were for when asked. Dealership also tried to add a DOC fee of $799! Yup Jersey has no regulations on that, but thankfully NY does for $75 only. Take your business elsewhere if you want honest business like I did. Elsewhere I got much lower rates, more deals and much more incentives.
