I worked here for the past few months under the new owner Sam. I loved it at first so fun and all the customers are great. But Sam and our “manager”, who is his young daughter treated me horribly and called me names for defending myself. I should have known, because the two guys before me also quit due to managerial issues. The customers loved me and I loved my coworkers but we are all quitting and looking for new jobs. The supplies are very cheap and we weren’t provided with great cleaning supplies so the store isn’t very clean. Overall, sam is just a poor employer and I really don’t think he deserves the business of such nice people. Plus it’s honestly overpriced for what ingredients we used. Please do not support such a rude man just because he labels it a small family business. The previous owners were sweet and kind women and it pains me to see their business get treated so poorly under Sam.

I had high hopes based on the rating. However the maple latte I had tasted only like sweet. And the coffee my G/F got was cold and watery. We had her coffee remade and it came back watery but at least the second time it was hot. For $4 Id expect flavor and heat the first time. For my money AM/PM has better coffee.

I think this has changed ownership, but Im not certain. Cafe mocha had not enough mocha! Bland and watery. Used to be better.

Perfect! Everything was so wonderful and delicious. We had a chai latte, an Irish coffee and two pastries. The coffees were hot and the pastries were fresh. The staff was so friendly, helpful and we got our coffees so fast. You guys are awesome. It made our day. We will be sure to stop again when we are in Poway.

I go here all the time with my client. She loves the iced coffee. I get the hazelnut iced coffee. The variety they have for being such a small place is wonderful. 5 stars ladys

I used to go all the time but the $5 minimum to be able to use your card really got me. As a young college student I never carry cash so it was always an inconvenience. However, I would just buy a $5 gift card to pay for my $4 and some change drink. Eventually, I just stopped going because Id rather pay a little more at Starbucks where it tastes better and they let me use my card. Today, I didnt have time to go to Starbucks and went back to buy my drink. I ordered it, they asked me several times if I wanted whipped cream and I said yes at least 3 times. When I got my drink there was no whipped cream, after that I asked to buy a $5 giftcard to pay for my drink and then was lectured about how they are a small business and was told that the obvious better decision was to buy a $25 gift card when I would get a free drink. I respectfully declined the offer as I dont go to the cart often. Then, I was further lectured about how every swipe costs them a percentage and how my paying with a card was such an inconvenience. Then, the cherry on top the woman told me to just carry some cash. Sorry, wont be returning.

Been going there for 15 years. I do the 25.00 dollar card. I own a small biz and love to support others. Plus they have super big sizes and arent over priced for the convenience of good coffee and a drive thru.

Uneducated staff claiming the health department of CA will not allow the sale of Red Bull without the strawberry smoothie. Two other times i have purchased reb bull shaken with ice and a pump of syrup, inconsistent. Management should take time to educate.
