You have got to go here. It is so amazing. The chocolate covered cherries and turtles blew my mind they were so good. I came home and spent $100 to ship a gift to customer. Free shipping for anything over $75. They carry the 1927 smores gift set cheaper than the actual 1927 store. Those are amazing gifts too.

The story of *coffee* is told through espresso. Theirs is a bit thin and too bitter. They dont offer *sugar* cubes or packet, instead using simple syrup. That dilutes the drink and causes it to be too watery.Drip was also bitter, designed for cream/sweetener.HOWEVER, for mixing in cream, cocoa, eta this is *perfect*, this my 4/5 stars.I would go there for cocoa/mixed drinks, but other places are better for straight up coffee.Side note: the staff were *stellar*

Very friendly staff & beautiful presentation of food. Quality mocha but could be priced 50 cents less. The avocado toast I received used an avocado that wasn’t ripe yet - hard to chew. “The Sandwich” was ok - I don’t recommend it. The overpowering cream cheese in the sandwich should be offset with additional vegetables. The nut butter toast with house jam is wonderful but I much prefer the raspberry jam to the blackberry that they make.

Enjoyable chocolates but nothing spectacular. I bough a variety of treats here-chocoalte bars: Haiti - Nord, Uganda, and Maple bars plus chocolate covered cherries. The Uganda is my favorite of the three bars. The Maple bar is too maple-y for my taste but I definitely get the tasting notes of Strawberrya dn maple, whereas the Nord bar, I didnt taste the apple or butterscotch that was noted. The chocolate covered cherries are very addictive- the cherries seem to have a bit of maraschino juice injected into them- for some this would be a plus, but for me it detracted.

Cup and Bar has never disappointed, from good service and baristas who care, to even better Coffee and chocolate to have there and take home for a rainy day. Good variety on the menu and everything is well made. Ranger Chocolate 🍫 and Trailhead Coffee ☕️ Roasters really have something good here. The wide open space may seem industrial at first, but is actually quite warm and inviting and you have room to move a bit. With the big door open, a nice day becomes even better as you sit with a cup and enjoy a few moments away from it all.

I purposely go out of my way to come here! This company is unique due to the fact that two companies, Trailhead Coffee Roasters, and Ranger Chocolate Company teamed up to created this coffee shop with a chocolate tasting room. I believe a year ago they did make their sourdough in-house but it since has changed. Regardless, they do make their own housemade nut-based milk, syrups, chai, and pasties though! They literally have the best avocado toast Ive ever had. I order their Avocado & Lemon Ricotta Toast. If youre vegan, ask for it vegan-style since its not vegan by default. It comes with their housemade vegan ricotta. To accompany this scrumptious delicacy, I ordered the Caldera Cortado, a concoction made of caldera spice, espresso, and steamed hemp milk. It even comes with a small piece of artisanal chocolate from Rangers Chocolate Company.

The coffee was good but I overheard a conversation with the customer in front of me who asked for almond milk. The cashier reported they had oat or a house blend almond milk, to which the customer agreed for the blend. Turns out that was an extra 2 dollars and the customer was never informed of this additional fee, causing them to ask for clarification after they got their receipt. when the coffee is already expensive is it really fair to charge that much for a special almond milk? Might be unfair of me to complain but that felt a bit dishonest to not at least give a heads up that you had to pay extra for what is typically no additional charge.

Cup & Bar was the perfect way to end my trip to Portland! I braved the scorching heat and sun to walk here from my hotel (whats up with that weird weather at 9:30am, Portland?), and it was so worth it. I would have liked to try everything on the menu, including the chocolate-inspired options, but I settled for the lemon ricotta avocado toast and a seasonal latte - rose and lavender I believe?Everything was incredible. The latte came with a little square of chocolate that was so good, I bought some more as a gift to bring home to friends. The flavors in it were lovely together--herbal, floral, but still deliciously coffee-and-milk. The avocado toast was the best Ive had.. amazing. Do yourself a favor and try this. The ambience was also super cool. Tree trunk chairs, interesting crowd, open air. A+

Ive really enjoyed the food and drinks and chocolate here before, but it seems like whoever designed the seating layout of this place mustve given up halfway through their job. Despite it being very crowded and loud, there is a haphazard few wooden stumps and uncomfortably low tables jutting out next to the entrance with a large space behind it. Are the bike racks on the wall really necessary when clearly nobody is using them? That space could easily be used to seat like 6 more people. All of the other seats are just kind of thrown around in a lump in the middle. If you have a line out the door on weekends (they do) you should prioritize providing more seating. We stood in line for 15 minutes, and left because all the seats were taken before we could order, while the great wide open space taken up by the unused bike hangers on the wall laughed at us. You will never get your favorite smoke trout toast! they said, we get to pretend we are necessary so you cant sit here! It made me sad. We left.
