Such a great book store and so willing to help as much as they can. I recent was a little desperate to get my hands on a book and even though it wasn’t one of their open days they found it, paid for it over the phone, and really helped.

Fantastic contemporary fiction selection. Was in person shopper here since they first opened, and now making the transition to online and curbside shopping with them. I had a seamless curbside pick up experience. I really appreciate Print prioritizing employee health at this time by not offering in-store shopping. Makes me want to spend MORE money here on a business truly living values I share. Thank you, Print!

This shop is wonderful! I stopped in on a vacation and was immediately smitten. The selection is excellent. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. On top of that, the staff were wonderful with my children, encouraging them to be hands-on with the books, and even reading to them while I made selections.I am not eloquent enough to write the review my experience at Print warrants, but I hope I might encourage someone their way. And I hope they keep up what they do for a very long time to come! What a great asset to the city of Portland!

Great local bookstore! Friendly staff. I think it’s the only bookstore (as far as I am aware) on the East End of the Portland peninsula.

This is the best independent bookstore Ive ever seen. Its too bad that its in such an out-of-the-way place. I accidentally happened upon it looking for a place to eat lunch after a performance at the Merrill Auditorium. The owner and co-worker were super friendly and helpful. Their inventory is HUGE, many books that I wish I could buy. Childrens selections are above and beyond that of chain book stores. I live an hour and 40 minutes from it, but will visit it again soon.

This is a really fun bookshop. The staff really knows their stuff and are helpful anytime you have a questionto ask. There appears to be good support of local writers and a really large childrens books section. The store has traded space for back cataloge. I think it pays off. You dont feel like the shelves are closing in on you. It feels a bit luxurious and they are happy to nake an order for you.

Print was a nice stop for some morning gift shopping. A small, but well-curated selection of books, a quiet atmosphere to the store, and some good Portland-themed gift options. Nice vibe to the whole place and friendly staff. Check it out if youre in the area!

This is a real boutique bookstore. For a small as it is, they seem to have an amazing selection of books. Mostly current of course, but their selection rivals that of the large box chains. It was great to see they had a book club meeting there too the day I was there adding to its charm.

The kind of bookstore you can get lost in--and then find the perfect title. Stellar staff are happy to order what isnt on the shelves (though their shelves are masterfully curated), and they host wonderful readings week in and week out. So, tuck your watch away, silence your cell phone, and bask in this bibliophiles paradise.

Josh had already been my go-to bookseller in Portland, but now in his own store, he beats me to the punch on many of what would have previously been special orders (and I imagine Emily contributes her fair share, too). I love knowing that I can walk into Print and find novels with LGBTQIA main characters, authors from countries from which many New Mainers come, childrens books that reflect the growing diversity of our city, state, and country. Keep pushing the envelope, Print. Portlands got you.

I was looking forward to this bookstore long before it opened, so I was almost nervous to visit for the first time. I was not disappointed! Print has a great selection, balancing on-the-pulse new releases with a range of memorable backlist and titles that your radar may have missed, but are worth your time. I have had wonderful experiences with the staff, who are always armed with a number of great titles to match whatever criteria Im coming in with. It is a truly pleasant and refreshing experience to visit this airy, clean store full of carefully curated shelves and passionate booksellers. Definitely make it part of your literary tourism and dont be afraid to ask the folks behind the desk for a recommendation. No matter who you have the pleasure of talking to, their taste is sure to be varied AND dynamite!

This place is somewhat out of my way so I didnt go for a long time... but then I realized all the awesome readings/speakers they have! I saw Alan Lightman speak here, and geeked out so much. Fabulous book selection, I think somewhat more thoughtfully curated than many other lovely local independent bookstores, and very knowledgeable staff. Also great for small gifts/cards, many by local artists.

These bibliomancers have it all. books about gay space fairies? you got it. the short stories of nabokov? they’ll hook you up. cookbooks from the bon appetit test kitchen staff? babe you KNOW it’s in stock. every time i want a weird book, they’ve already got it. i suspect they read minds. staying fresh and serving realness is the priority of this good good story room. events from authors? gimme those relevant marginalized writers. i’m telling you, it’s woke but humble. best place to buy graphic novels, cookbooks, art books, travel books, local authors, relevant new fiction, relevant new nonfiction, and old dusty tomes in portland. minus one-quarter star for only ever playing acoustic covers of pop songs. cmon guys.
