So I guess you have to kill yourself or cause serious injury to others before Volkswagen fix their mess. It has been 3 weeks since I spoke with Ilija Gorgioski at Vista Volkswagen about the overhead console falling and dangling blocking my rear view mirror. Ilija Stated it was a known issue but when I asked why they did not alert customers before the console fell out while driving distracting the driver or even causing a deadly accident he said he didn’t know. The console is actually glued in, what a terrible design. Of course it will fail in 90 degree weather. I have made several attempts to schedule an appointment to go in to get this resolved but I was told they were booked, although I advised this is a safety issue. I finally got in this morning at 7:40am only to be told the part had to be ordered. When I asked Ilija why he didn’t tell me that over the phone he stated because the vehicle has to be at the location. I really think safety hazard part escapes Volkswagen and their employees. Ilija then stated he could get the part but I would have to wait over 3hrs, when I asked for a loaner he stated there not any, I pointed at a loaner parked and he stated it was not available. Ilija attitude was terrible, he pointly asked me what did I want him to do. I said fix the problem now because I can’t see out the rear view then he stated understood the hazard but couldn’t do anything about it. What a waste, my suggestion is to never purchase anything from Volkswagen,their cars and service is trash. Now going on the 4th week no fix. I have to drive home in an unsafe vehicle.

I made an appointment for my first oil change since purchasing my Tiguan last year in Fort Meyers. I had purchased the extended oil change package at the time of purchase. I was not told on the phone that the oil change would take 3 hours, nor was I told that a loaner car would NOT be available to me. I live 25 minutes away from he dealership. An hour and a half into my oil change, i was offered a ride home, which would get me home in just enough time to turn around and need to come back. Every customer in the waiting room was disgruntled and impatient from their terrible customer service with SABRINA. SABRINA was rude condescending and dismissive. I took my vehicle without the “detailing” that was promised bc I have better things to do than wait around your showroom. Your service Manager was less than sympathetic full of excuses, and further condescension as to how oil changes work at a dealership. Ps my step-father was the service manager of Porche- Audi in Hyannis MA for 18 years. If his oil changes were running 3 hours long, he would have taken off his tie and gotten under the hood himself. YOUR SERVICE MANGER sat indignant, deflated, with no solutions other than my oil change would be free. OH REALLY? Are you ou going to refund my entire service extension plan? Because at this point I’d rather pay to go Jiffy Lube than waste my time driving from Fort Lauderdale to Pompano. If this were the end of my horrible experience, I wouldn’t care so much, but it’s not. After returning home I realize there is a BRAND NEW HUGE DENT in the rear driver side door! After arranging for your dealership to bring me a loaner car on Monday after the weekend, I think ok this will be fine it was just an accident. The loaner car I was brought was filthy, like disgusting, I took video and pictures before I spent an hour detailing it. The service manager tried to lie to me telling me the vehicle was detailed yesterday- that’s funny then why did it have a parking receipt from the Fort Lauderdale airport and sensitive customer paperwork (with private information) in it from July 15th? Not only that, it had less than a 1/4 tank of gas. But wait there’s more! I can’t use this vehicle to drive for work bc for 1) For some reason, I can’t open the trunk, I need trunk space which is why I bought a Tiguan (typically loaners of the same type of vehicle are given for couple reasons- [a- the customer prefers to drive a vehicle they know and feels safe in. B- the vehicle fits their lifestyle needs} 2) I can’t charge my cell phone (BTW YOU SHOULD KNOW YOUR TCHNOLOGY ****an iPhone 7 doesn’t charge on your charging pad) and there is NO usb outlet for me to even plug a charger into. NO hands free. Navigation, phone, txt, music, nothing. Funny you didn’t have a loaner car when I needed one, but you did have a useless one to leave with me for 2 days while you fix a minor dent in my car. Super annoying, to take time out of my busy schedule and day as a self employed yacht designer who NEEDS a functional large vehicle to bring custom bedding to my clients. Extra annoying when I’m told that you’d need my car an extra day in order for me to get the “thorough detailing” I was promised. LOL When I received my car back, it was washed, but by no means detailed bc there was sand and fabric remnant threads all offer the trunk space. To add insult to injury, my gas’s tank was empty when my vehicle was returned to me! You cost me money with this ridiculous service plan I purchased, you cost me money while wasting time on a 3 hour oil change, the aggravation of having my car dented, the time and gas driving back and forth a no being without a functional vehicle for my business.

Out of options, with endless mechanical problems with our 2014 VW Touareg TDI. We were now faced with the heart wrenching decision to sell due to the constant breakdown. Our prayers were answered when we handed over the keys to Vista VW. The moment we walk into the service department, we immediately felt the warmth of customer service department. A special thank you to the service manager Paul Mitchell, the dedicated service advisors Aaron and Sabrina. It took months of dedicated work, to get our Touareg running better than new. I do not recommend you buy any vehicle from this dealership. My husband purchased a used truck from them on 10/14/21, while driving home on I95 he got a flat tire and needed to be towed home. The very next morning he takes the wheel to get a new tire and they inform him that the wheel is cracked and was attempted to be fixed. So, my husband just thought he got a flat but actually the wheel itself was unsafe for him to even drive on and caused the flat to occur and the situation could have been much worse for him driving on that wheel. He contacted the dealer and let them know the situation and all we want is for them to make it right by replacing the wheels and tires, but it’s clear that they have no intention on doing that. They are not taking any responsibility for selling a vehicle that was unsafe for anyone to drive. I want everyone to know how these people operate and thankfully it was just a flat tire and not something worse for my husband. You can see the wheel in the attached picture.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel like the service department at Vista went above and beyond for me. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. They had WiFi and coffee in the waiting room so I could do some work there. They have an amazing feature where they video the inspection of your car and tell you everything it needs and they text it to you. Then you can choose what maintenance you’d like to get done all online. My car was done sooner than expected. They also changed a daytime light for me that I didn’t even mention to them at no charge. AND they washed my car! Amazing. I’ll be getting all my service done here in the future. Well done.

We had a really good new car buying experience here. We bought a 2021 Atlas. My initial conversation was with one of the sales managers Mike, who pretty much nailed the numbers we were looking for over the phone and when we went in to get the deal done, the numbers didnt really change. It was a couple of bucks difference but minimal and not an issue. Mike held up his agreement and thats not an easy thing to find when buying a car. Allen was our sales advisor and he did a great job explaining the cars and facilitating the deal for us.Just a nice, clean car buying experience all around. I purchased a vehicle today 7/25. I worked with Steven Malin and Arthur Goldman.. As far as the process I must say it was really smooth. Probably the easiest processing experiences Ive had.7/26Update the the vehicle sold as is, checked it out the next day and the wheels front and back were bent. So upon acceleration of high way speeds you can feel the steering column shake.Spark plug and DSG service were not done.If you read 3 day exchange policy in the office it’s false advertising.Besides that they are okay.

I recently purchased a car for my daughter. We decided on the Volkswagen TEAGUAN. After shopping in the Tri-County area we found the perfect demo car at Vista Volkswagen . I called the dealership to inquire and I was very pleased with the help I received on the phone. I travel to the dealership for a test drive and my experience with the sales person in person was even better than the experience I had with the sales rep on the phone. After some brief negotiation we settled on a price that was very appealing to me. The sales person, Robert, was courteous and professional throughout the entire experience. I return the following day to purchase the car and I was pleasantly surprised with how quick the dealership got us in and out. The finance manager was a little rough around the edges, appeared to be having a bad day, but even he has sour attitude did not spoil my overall experience. Upon final inspection of the car I found some tiny chips in the rear window and other very minor defects. I pointed these defects out to the sales person and he wrote up a ticket to have them fixed. I am returning tomorrow to have those issues addressed and I cannot stress enough how pleasant this entire experience has been. I usually hate buying cars and this experience was definitely an exception. If you go to Vista Motors Don’t forget to ask for Robert and tell him Preston sent you!

Bought a BMW sight unseen from out of state. Was promised it was in perfect condition. Car arrived in pretty good shape but had the mufflers deleted. Not the end of the world but wish that was disclosed for emissions. Was promised a part for the car that I never received. Even after several attempts I am now being ignored. This is what happens when you purchase from out state. You become very easy to ignore because you can’t just walk in. Purchased from Alex in sales.

Happily for me, it had the tan interior I liked, and was within the price point I was comfortable with. Stephen made my car shopping a much more pleasurable experience, and I will be sure to return to Vista VW when my current lease is up.

I had a very frustrating experience last night, they gave me a quote over the phone, I drove over 1 hour to get there and they didn´t hold it, the worse part was the manager attitude, Mr. Mike Sadick, he was so unprofessional! I felt so bad, the only highlight was Mr. Otto, he tried his best, I will never ever return to this place. Be careful with their proposal folks!

Cant wait for my lease to be up!They just never ever do anything on my car when I take it for service!Everyone has a really nasty attitude!A lady at the counter told me to start saving up for my next service! Worst experience...and it wasn’t even in person!!!!I’m all the way in Naples, FL (2 hours away) and over the phone, Mike, Allen, and Armando (the general manager) all did NOT know how to be respectful and accommodating to a recent college graduate of first-generation who had been READY to give money for a used 2020 Volkswagen Jetta SE in Blue.Armando refused to come down $1,500 to meet me in the middle especially AFTER people from Orlando who traveled 4-5 hours to Pompano Beach did not want this vehicle AND another price drop of $400 online was done without me getting notified about until finding out myself.This is what I was willing to pay= $19,500 max with $10,000 down. What the heck is wrong with that??They claim this vehicle is “2,000” under market value but that’s actually wrong since all they do is lower the car purchase but increase the dealer fees instead.In all honesty, Vista Volkswagen doesn’t put other things into consideration with transactions that are personal for so many people who are just getting established in this world. Instead, they only care about who has $2,000 more in their pockets and we all know what kind of person always has more money systemically and this example shows that people of color still get denied the things they want even though I have the money handy.Refusing my offer will be the ultimate burden for Vista because the longer this vehicle sits on Vista’s lot, the more %interest piles up every day for Vista until a person (like me) is interested in buying.Regardless, after reading this review, I’m hoping people are more cautious when buying their first vehicle or instead just visit another dealer.If this vehicle goes down to my desired price after this review, I’d love for Vista to make it up to me. If not, here ya go everyone!

Saw a nice car, made the deal which included some body panel work (hood painting). I was told that I had to take the car that day, paid in full and then bring it back at their convenience to make the repairs. I was uncomfortable with that arrangement and I stated that I would put a hefty deposit down and pay the balance upon my acceptance of the repairs and upon delivery. That was not acceptable to the sales manager and I walked away very unhappy with the way they dealt with this situation. The salesman Robert P. was great but I will never do business with any dealership that demands payment in full before the terms of the deal are met. I can only hope that Ownership sees this review and adjusts their policies.

I leased a TIGUAN SE a couple of months ago. This was by far our best experience ever in a dealership. Alex Gainsborg, our sales associate, was extremely professional, had a great demeanor and remained thoughtful throughout the entire process. Four years ago I leased a convertible beetle from Vista, after shopping a couple of other dealers on my hunt for a convertible. They made the transaction painless then, and last week, when I opted to keep the car and purchase it, the same was true. Never met a service rep as rude as Evelyn. Cut me off every other word. Maybe if I plopped a credit card on the table she would let me finish a sentence. Apparently she’s only here to collect $135 inspection fee. What a terrible first experience at a Vista dealership. No wonder VWs rep is going down the drain.

I had been researching cars for a few months now, and knew what I wanted to pay for an Atlas Cross Sport. It took a little going back and forth, but eventually we agreed on a fair price for a lease. I knew I only wanted the SE, and I appreciate that they didnt try to pressure me into a higher trim level. They didnt have any SEs on their lot, but they were somehow able to track one down. The worst part of the day was waiting all day for the car arrive, but thats to no fault of the dealership. I worked with Zachariah, who is relatively new to this industry. He was very pleasant to work with. If he wasnt sure of something, he had no problem saying so and asking someone with a little more knowledge. My husbands lease (on another VW) is up next year, and well definitely come back to Vista. It didnt feel like your typical car dealership and I really liked that.

Allen and Reni were friendly and informative when I bought my used car. Not bad of an experience for being a car dealership.The service department is slow and messy. It took 3 hours for a tire rotation, cabin AC and engine AC filter change. When I arrived they told me no more than 1 hour and 30 minutes. They included a car wash I didn’t even ask for and probably extended my wait time even more. My car smelled like sweat when I got it back, whoever serviced it needs better hygiene. All in all, I scheduled an appointment but that didn’t seem to help at all.The car balance light was beeping when I received the car back, it hadn’t before, and now they tell me it’ll be $500 to fix the new issue that ‘randomly’ occurred just when I got here. If you come here for service, definitely don’t get Evelyn and her mechanic Lana.I live closer to Gunther VW, and although I bought my car here, I will opt to go there from now on for any service.

Very pleased with the team at Vista. As a 20+ year VW owner, I went in knowing what I wanted, and they had the vehicle in stock. Bill was very helpful and friendly, and I enjoyed working with him for my new vehicle.

I am new to South Florida having relocated on a job transfer. I checked the 2 VW dealers online reputations: Gunther and Vista. I chose Vista VW. They performed an oil change, new filters, new factory Firestone tires and a wheel alignment. I was the first customer at 7:30 a.m. and was surprised to be given a car loaner free of charge. They returned the car washed. They performed a multipoint inspection. Tanner the service advisor was very nice. I would recommend maintenance service with your VW at Vista VW.

I’m very satisfied with my car that I purchased last month. I got a VW Passat Rline and I love it. Sam was a great salesman very kind and patient. Jake was great as well in the service department. A couple of people had called out so he was running around doing a bunch of things on his plate with a positive attitude. He listened to any concerns I had and helped me out while I was there. Herve or Herbe (sorry if I got it wrong) in the service department was great as well. We need more people like them in customer service! Thanks a lot 🙌🏼

I first changed oil here, no issues then. I no longer recommend this dealership for maintenance. There’s clearly an issue with checking in costumers that already have an appointment, perhaps they could prepare the paperwork for clients with appointments ahead of time to make the process smooth.I don’t need to spend $300 here, particularly when having to waste my time.

There is one year remaining on the lease and this experience leads me to consider another (at least with Vista) when this expires

Terrible service by Jon. He had a really bad attitude when I brought the car on Saturday and then never called me back on Monday to let me know the price on my tires and oil change. I called many times on Monday and he never returned my call. I am picking up my car and never ever coming back to this dealer. It was a horrible first time experience and the last one.I go to another dealer coconut creek and I always had volkswagen cars and never ever saw someone so disrespectful and who doesnt care to help clients. horrible service by Jon.

Anything but a Vista-like experience. Purchase a used VW elsewhere, these guys don’t stand behind their products. Bought a vehicle in ‘18 which had a heavy vibration in the steering wheel — didn’t feel safe. They had my car in the garage for nearly 2 months claiming the tires were out of round. Lo’ and behold, take it to another VW dealer, and immediately they say, “yes, the rotors are warped” as I suspected and wanted Vista to check. Rotors aren’t covered under warranty, so they tried to mitigate it as much as possible and say “yep, that’s characteristic.”

I have been wanting a Volkswagen GTI for the longest time. Finally it came true. My experience with Vista Volkswagen was excellent especially working with Nilton Strazzi. He was great! Everything ran smoothly, no pushy people, just happy buying experience. The finance officer was also super. If you are looking to buy a VW don’t hesitate to buy from Vista Volkswagen. Ask for Nilton and you will not go wrong! He is awesome!
