Quite a few people without masks! People definitely do not social distance. Great place to get what you need. I only go when absolutely need me. If I was anyone I would do curbside pickup. Literally have gotten moldy bread brand recently and their fruit same problem.

Now that they finally purchased new handicap carts for seniors, the shopping experience Ive had a more comfortable time shopping.

Well stocked and all the employees I talked to were friendly. Plus they finally had people working the registers!

The staff are always friendly. Cannot recall ever feeling put off by any workers. Store itself is like most other walmarts. Place is clean and usually has what I am looking for at fair prices.

Great to have Gus back again. The place is a landmark from way back and its so nice to see the new owners are keeping as much as they can, as it once was. Food was very good and the prices are very reasonable. I worked there in the late sixties, and I swear, I could see Gus standing in his usual spot, keeping an on on things!

Last minute shopping for a wedding cake, to surprise the bride and groom. This was perfect

Its a Walmart in Northern NY. They run this store like a cutthroat business. When you need jewelry, better go in the morning otherwise youll be waiting for no one to show up. Electronics, well the phone people (OSL), are more knowledgeable and helpful in locating items as opposed to Wal-Marts own associates. It is a relatively clean store though if I must say.

Was a nice store very large, good variety of things. Only problem was alot of checkouts were not open and the store wasnt packed. We had to stand in line for a good 10 minutes before reaching the only cashier in the entire store. Im not one to go use the self checkouts. I prefer having the store worker check me out. Other than that the store is beautiful and very much merchandise.

This is a normal walmart. Its us clean fir the most part. They had only 3 full service lines open. Another tactic to replace paying people and offering benefits from one of the largest retail stores in the world. Walmart could do better fir the American people.

Typically my experience shopping at Walmart is sub-par. I go in get what I need and most of the time I do self check out because its quicker, however, today the place was packed and there were only 3 or 4 associate ran registers open and the self check out at the pharmacy end of the store was completely closed. The rest of self check out was very busy and more than a few of the lights were red and unavailable to use. I stood in the 20 items or less line for almost 30 minutes with only 4 other people ahead of us. The card reader wasnt accepting cards for some reason and luckily enough we were carrying cash otherwise Im sure it would have been a much longer process. Over all I think they need to have more associates on register and they need to update their systems.

Dislike walmart actually hate it.. the Walmart is very wasteful business, greediness to the finest.. they throw away good foods ( full huge multiple garbage containers of good foods) they throw away and they wont let you have it they could have donated given the foods to feed whole U.S if not the world how much they throw away foods its so sad and Walmart should be a shamed! The goods could have go/gone to people in need...organizations..shelters..etc.The employees they got an attitude and very rude, unprofessional matter a fact they talk and take their time instead helping the customer. There is no customer service and self check out is stupid doesnt take cash and got to wait in the darn long wait lines to get the heck out there. dislike shopping, crowded its terrible. Parking is bad lots idiots that should get their licences take away. Items not in stock as their website says. Bathrooms are very unsanitary.

This visit had everything I needed for school supplies for a new middle school student right in front of the main door. Still has a nice variety of stationary supplies, but backpacks are in short supply.

Inventory sufficient, some deficiencies in supply of products. Employees taking breaks at Transit shelter, on premises, have obnoxious smoking habits and seem quite pleased at fumigating those seeking shelter from rain while waiting after purchases for pickup.

We stopped to get a few things that Sams Club did not have and there were no handicapp riders or regular shopping carts. So we grabbed 2 items and gave up. Then self serve was only way to get checked out and attendant was rude. We will have to come again but wish we didnt have too.

Pretty well stocked, mostly clean. Was an annoyance that all the self checkouts were card only, no cash, and they only had a few registers opened with LONG lines

I get carside delivery when I grocery shop, I will no longer step foot into this place... Its usually packed to the brim, other shoppers are usually grotesquely rude and they usually have (at most) 2 registers open... Wal-Mart doesnt pay me to load my own groceries, so self-checkout is a no no for me.

I normally go to the Williston Walmart in VT but it has a problem with keeping items in stock so we had to come over to NY to pick up our order. They had EVERYTHING!!! it was the biggest Walmart Ive ever seen. It was packed but still managing to run smoothly. Even the customer service was impressive for a Walmart. The prices were so cheap compared to VT. I wished I had ordered more stuff!!! Im kindof looking forward to planning our next trip up 🙈 what!?!

Its Walmart. They have a little of everything. Very very busy. Purchased a small tablet and the clerk in electronics was very helpful.

The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the mens department was almost bare. I was only able to find 2 things in my size. Hopefully this will be taken care of.

Most of the check-outs are self checkout, very organized. Plenty of selection for one stop shopping.

It is wallmart so... generally overcrowded, parking lot is packed all the time. People that work there are usually helpful, if you can get what you need somewhere else you will most likely have an easier time.

Walmart is my favorite place to shop I can always find exactly what I need!

They have maybe 2 lines for cash. If you dont have a credit card or bank card be prelared to wait awhile in line

I needed repair to my squashed eye glasses. I had not purchased that pair at walmart but they repaired them, did not charge me and gave me a hard storage container to replace the soft pouch so the fragile glasses would not suffer further damage. No wonder I like walmart.

Never anything in stock dirty inside rude workers and customers always a mess

Employees often over step their boundaries. As well as assume anyone with a different hairstyle is a thief. Remember if you buy it you have all rights to refuse a receipt check. If an employee comes off as a figure with power rather then friendly I always refuse.if they are friendly and come off as an equal then I gladly allow them. Walmart its time to return to a family store rather then a prison store

No way everyone in that store has received their covid vaccine. Not a single person except myself and granddaughter wore a mask. Sanitizers of any kind were empty. 1 checkout that had a real human being and a line of 12 people to process. Bathroom was disgusting. Went for pet supplies. Might as well not sell any. There was NOTHING on the shelves. Pathetic. No wonder I hate Walmart. Thank goodness for Chewey and Amazon...

Well, what can be said about Wal-Mart, other than: its Wal-Mart. As always, the parking lot is congested, making it difficult to drive through looking for a spot. Customers insist on walking down the very middle between rows. Once you finally make it into the store, being there is not all terrible. Good selection of items, well organized, its easy to find whatever you require. Employees are few and far between, so youre basically on your own to find your goods anyway. Do not fret, as they most likely have what you are looking for, or something similar. An abundance of returned items back on the shelves keep shoppers on their toes. A quick glance in any direction reveals some sort of surveillance device locked onto you, and recording/snapping pictures. Try to smile!! Once youve found what it is youre looking for, its easy to navigate to the check-out section, where employees normally flock, but seem to disappear when you need assistance. Dont bother bringing cash, as most of the checkouts are self-served and do not accept it. Now for your return to the parking lot, where you are normally stopped before reaching so your goods and receipt can be inspected before leaving. Your departure from the parking lot is no more pleasant than your arrival. Even just purchasing a single item, plan on being there for no less than 45 minutes to an hour on any average day. Wide aisles. Plenty of registers open. Efficient and clean. The Plattsburgh store should try to emulate the far superior Malone store.

Customer service itself was outstanding. The lady representative at the customer service desk was very helpful by directing me to the exact department location. When I got to the department, the gentleman representative that I spoke with knew where the product was, dropped everything he was doing, and brought me to the exact location of the product. This made my experience at Walmart very easy and quick.

Went in for toys for my grandchildren. Shelves were pretty depleted.And items left were high priced stuff. Checkout lines were long too. My visit was at 11am.

Walmart has either upped their offerings or this store in particular has better than usual products... But their produce and food is good quality with lots of options and weve had good success with their clothes and home goods.

Lots of Room to maneuver your tractor trailer behind the store. The general Merchandice docs are on the left and the grocery docs are right tooYoure right side as your pulling through the back of the building past the Sams club docks. There should be a few trailers off to the side are empty some may have seals on them.

Who don’t love Walmart, to be honest we can not survive without it regarding the product and items specially the prices it is one place shopping and that location have a lot of liquidation items from toy games electronic etc.... clean and organized I love Walmart and I like that location shop and eat in one place

Needs cleaning,really not what I would have expected when I went in store.

They are in health code violations constantly. They never have cashiers. The management doesnt, want to validate the prices under the product and change more which is b.s . This place is a joke . Its going to get someone very sick one day with Salmonella poisoning or E coli. Proof I took pictures of the egg Department cracked and smashed eggs all over the place and no one was around to clean it up no one cared its been like that for a while I was in that store for almost 2 hours and no one came to clean it. Thats sick so if anyone gets Salmonella poisoning from this place please tried to contact me I do have the photos.

It was only 9:00 and you couldnt try clothes on in the fitting room.They told me they close it at 9:00. The self-checkout doesnt give coins back either! If you go there frequently that can add up! Wont be going back for awhile.

Lack of cashiers at stations and self cash out was only accepting credit cards and debit cards. No cash . Waited in line for 40 minutes just to cash out using cash of the amount of less than 20 dollars. Poor poor service for this location.

Far to many people not wearing masks,or improperly wearing them. I was threatened when I asked a gentleman to pull his mask up. I left my cart full of items after that. Not worth the risk of Infection or a fight. I feel bad for the employees.

Security officer at front door standing next to a box of masks didnt bother to ask anyone not wearing a mask to wear one including a couple of people in front of me making fun of people wearing masks. The store had almost no direction to prevent pile up of customers from occurring (no one way aisles anywhere outside of the immediate area around the entrance and exit, of where there was only one the other entrance was closed off for some reason). After wandering around aimlessly looking for health and beauty and having no help from any employees I managed to find the area I was looking for, only to find it disorganized and extra product on the top shelf which wasnt always available below. Checkout was fortunately fast so time could be minimized inside of this store. Had not been inside of Walmart in over 15 years, and this re-affirmed my reasoning and I will not be going back again.

Dont try to call this store around 8:30 pm. They do not answer the phone. Finally on the 3rd try someone answered in Electronics and put me through to Patio and rang 3 times then got hung up on. Not good service at all.
