Visiting the area from eastern MA and wanted to check out a few shops around here. Found two in Pittsfield and visited both. Came to this one second and really enjoyed visiting this shop. I was greeted immediately upon walking in. Was able to browse with no one bothering me and zero pressure. Both guys (believe co owners) were very respectful and professional. Let my son play around with the candy machine to keep him company. I was interested in an item there and both guys were very knowledgeable on it. I think they actually had very fair prices and quite a great selection of products in the store. I ended up purchasing the item and the process was smooth and easy. I think I’ll be visiting these guys on my next Berkshires trip. It was a nice shop, good area, well organized, fair prices and most importantly very good ownership and customer service. Keep it up and hope to see you again soon.

Wish I could echo the good reviews of others, but unfortunately I cant. Purchased an M&P .380 Shield EZ from Avid at a gun show in Wilmington in the Fall 2018. Almost walked away from the deal when I asked for a new one in an unopened box and they refused. Should have trusted my instincts. First time I cleaned the firearm there was brown corrosion from the interior and exterior of the barrel. Bluing finish on the barrel was not right. I sent the firearm back to S&W and they kindly replaced the barrel. From the first magazine fired, point of impact has been consistently left of aim point, not only for me but also for two other experienced shooters. Sending it back to S&W again. I could be wrong, but I feel like theres been something wrong all along and Avid knew it. Thats why they forced me to buy the one in the display case. Hopefully S&W will make it right, but Im disappointed in Avid. Will definitely avoid their booth at the next show.Update 5/1/19: Approximately two months after my review was posted an anonymous person from the company wrote an entry that they had no record of my purchase. Sale date was 11/10/18, order no. 8318.
