I cant recommend Primal Supply enough. Not only do they offer exceptionally tasty eggs, bacon, and other meats, but they are a true community business for our neighborhood. Im so glad that this shop is within walking distance of my home.

Exceptional, quality meat that’s sustainable and local. Our go-to for the best London broil you’ve ever had. Support nearby farmers, eat healthier meat, and feel better about where your dollar is going. Win, win, win.

A fantastic addition to East Passyunk! This is a great place for excellent, quality cuts of beef, chops and poultry. They have a good selection of meats and farm fresh fruits & vegetables. They also have unique small batch condiments, beverages and other grocery items. The staff is really friendly and helpful and the shop is spotless! Ever since they opened, I try to make a weekly trip. Theyre that good! Forget the Acme, Whole Foods or Giant! Youll definitely notice the improvement in your meals by adding these to your recipes!

Fantastic local butcher shop. Meats are locally sourced and freshly cut. Staff is helpful and their small selection of other grocery items is well curated and high quality. If youre looking for bargains, go to the Giant or Stop-n-shop. If you want consistent quality from people who genuinely care about the food theyre selling, then this place is well worth a visit.

So glad I found this place! Excellent quality, good service, locally FEMALE owned small business with pastured meat from small farms. No complaints. Just gratitude.

Primal Supply eggs have the biggest and brightest yolks you’ll ever find. Impeccable taste and quality. You’re doing breakfast a disservice with any other eggs.

Do you know your butcher by name? You should.Do not mistake the hand-painted signs, bright, clean walls, or tasteful design for demographically targeted pretension. This is a butcher shop -- just like the one your grandfather used to talk about -- but with less sawdust on the floors. The staff is approachable, knowledgeable, and more than willing to help when it comes to everything from planning a simple, affordable single meal, to creating an elaborate special occasion. Theyre willing to listen to the evening dinner plans, as well as terrible anecdotes -- all with a smile. The attention to detail carries beyond the well-lit display cases and into a place that finds merit in educating a new generation about sustainability. This is the kind of business that supports not only an amazing craft, but an entire community of people who truly care throughout an entire supply chain. Stop in, ask questions, and try something new.

Holy cow. The quality of the meat is fabulous. The staff knows where everything is grown, the care of the animals, AND they know how to butcher. As butchery has been getting more hip, Ive had the unfortunate displeasure of seeing wonderful quality meat ruined by amateur butchers. Primal Supply has the skills. I live ten blocks away, but would happily travel to visit this place.

Fresh, locally sourced meats, eggs, dry goods, a little bit of produce (apples, onions, sweet potatoes)... This is my new go-to for butcher needs! Friendly and helpful staff really seals the deal for me.

I hate when I call a place for prices and some insight before you go into the store and they send you to the website

I can’t speak to the quality of the other meats sold here, but I found the scrapple disappointing. For the price, I was expecting a delicious scrapple that could hold up to being fried and had a significant amount of meat in it. Instead, I got a lump of what was clearly mostly cornmeal, under spiced and under seasoned, and with very little meat. It could not stand up to being fried and turned into mush in the pan. Any corner store in Philly will carry better scrapple for a fraction of the price.

Almost like an old time butcher -- the best kind of compliment. Best meat in Philly.
