An example amongst several; I should not have had to pay an additional $300 to have my vehicle serviced elsewhere including cleaned and disinfected, as which was a promised factor with purchase. Test drove a 2014 Ford Edge at the VW building. Car was making a grinding noise. When I returned from the test drive. The salesman showed me a service tech report, which said it had a noisy LR Wheel hub. The sales person told me they would fix it if I purchased the car right now. I told him I would not buy a broken vehicle. I offered that if they fixed it, I would test drive it again and probably purchase the vehicle. Then he told me A friend of one of the mechanics was interested in this car. And he would see if they would buy the car as is.Why would you sell someone a car with a wheel hub that you know is going bad? Could be a serious safety issue. I would definitely tell people to avoid a dealer using this very bad practice.

Just noticed the trans cooler lines that were supposed to be fixed under warranty(in june) are leaking still(its august). I dont think that they even changed it. The last time I had the truck in for oil change and tire rotation all I got was an oil change because tech forgot. Really disappointed in the quality of service I received. Looks like I have to find a new dealer . Good thing a new chevrolet dealer is right next door.Only reason for one star is the office people are very nice.

Spoke with Brian at the Volkswagen dealership regarding a used 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE that was for sale. I was interested in the car, however as they handed me information and I looked over it, I had some concerns regarding its three accident reports listed. I noticed there were a plethora of dings, dents, scratches all around the trim, the rear end of the vehicle, and beyond that, it looked like the front passenger corner of the bumper was sagging because they did not correctly install the bumper when they worked on it from one of the accidents. Not to mention, a rear passenger door window had a long hairline crack going from left to right that needed to be replaced.As I mentioned this with Brian, his tone immediately changed and he even began glossing over the concerns brought up in the CarFax regarding two of the reports in the CarFax history. Once I asked if I was able to negotiate on the price being all these faults existed, and I was well aware that purchasing a hybrid at over 100K miles meant it was going to be due for a pricey hybrid battery replacement costing a couple thousand alone. Brian instantly chimed that Management wont let us negotiate the price, its a policy and it quickly became obvious that he was onboard with this policy as well as I spoke with him more.As I contested that the vehicle is considerably overpriced given its collision history, its upcoming battery replacement, and several cosmetic faults given consideration; Brian immediately retorted Well you dont go to Kroger and haggle with them for a can of beans, do you? and I was instantly hit this realization that this man, who dares calls himself a salesperson, is equating himself to cashier at a grocery store that sells these so called beans as open, half-eaten, and nearing its expiration date. I have never been so appalled at the way he tried to defend overpricing a used hybrid, and make me out to be some sort of degenerate for bringing up the simple fact that it was flawed, as most used cars are. He then tried to assert that Oh, well you dont know how much we paid for it as if it was my concern that the salesperson who took it in on trade (likely himself) over valued it without clearly understanding the service needs of a hybrid battery later in its lifespan.Oh, but dont worry, Brian quipped We sell 120 cars a month as I handed back the paperwork and keys, after he told me Someone will buy it at full price. as if I was supposed to be reassured about their business. No Brian, I truly dont care how many overpriced cars your dealership sells, I care more about the fact that you sold them by deceiving, and misrepresenting the vehicles to people and you should be ashamed of yourself.

I gave my information over the phone and was given the run around for days about getting my vehicle. Wasn’t at all made to feel like a priority or that my business was worth their time. I only received information after I repeatedly called and texted. Was not made to feel like a priority at all. Will never return.

Service Dept: Drove away form an oil change there 10 minutes later find my battery light on, oil light on and smoke emitting from the hood and A/C vents. Appears a gasket was not sealed and oil leaked all over the engine and serpentine belt. Serpentine belt needed replaced and 1 and half days to clean up all the oil. Automall took the car back and gave me a loaner. They were honest about what happened and did everything they could to make it right. But come on man.... I only made 4 payments into this car. My first visit on a maintenance package that i bought with a car from them, having a little bit of remorse on the maintenance part. There are lots of positive reviews here so maybe Ill try again.

I had the best experience ever buying a car from Matt Carpenter. He was no pressure and laid back throughout the whole experience. Matt was knowledgeable and patient as I asked him about 100 questions to make sure I was getting the perfect car for me. I saw a truck for sale by Perrysburg auto mall on autotrader. I talked to Kevin Cook on the phone, and told him I wanted to test drive it. I informed Kevin that I already had financing approved for that truck, and as long as it didn’t have any issues, I would buy it after the test drive. He said he would pull it up to the building and hold it for me, since I don’t live in the area. When we were halfway there, he called me and said that it just sold. So much for holding it for me. Luckily for me I found a nice truck elsewhere. I would never do business with this company in the future.

Found a car I liked, took the 30 min drive to this dealership to test drive it. Everything went smooth besides finding an issue with a sensor. Let them know about it and they told me the parts would take 2 weeks to come in. Told them I was already approved and would buy it once fixed, but they wanted me to buy the car and bring it back later. No one should buy a car with a known issue without it being fixed prior to purchase. That was a red flag to me and shows they care more about a sale than their customers. Whoever bought it I hope they actually fixed it for them, but luckily I found the LTZ version for the same price at another dealership and with no issues. Sorry, but I cant recommend going here.

They were not able to repair my car on the first try, but gave me a service car to drive until they can. Very friendly service department at VW.

I bought a car (2013 Ford Escape) from Perrysburg Automall earlier this spring, and it was one of the worst decisions Ive made in my life. 2 days after buying it, I discovered a significant oil leak from the engine. Took it back into the service department, and found out they had to replace the ENTIRE ENGINE. Took over 3 months to fix (luckily I had the drivetrain warranty). Got my car back 90+ days later, with no engine coolant, and the next day a belt snapped in the new engine. The service department was kind enough to send me a tow truck & fix it at no additional costs.There were a few other issues that required me to talk to a lawyer in order to get Perrysburg Automall to contact my warranty company after 4 weeks of neglecting to do so.And yesterday, I took my car in for a check engine light just to find out theres another $700 in repairs needed. I have not gone more than 3 weeks without something going wrong with this car.Id like to note that Deb in the service department has been handling my case & she has been outstandingly patient with me. Ive been extremely frustrated with this purchase & she has worked with me a lot. She is great.EDIT - 1 year later, every month since the original post something has gone horribly wrong with this car & it literally has not stopped. You sold me a burden & should feel horrible about selling me this car willingly. I cannot believe how much money I’ve put into it just to feel safe on the road. You should be ashamed as a company.

Jeff Trobaugh was our salesman when I got my Sienna truck. One of many things I really like about Jeff is that he doesn’t try to sell you something you do not need. Also he is very low pressure! What can I say about the salesman Andrew Micham? What a hard worker. His responsiveness to questions was impressive and his personality is one of a kind. No one likes the car buying experience but for once I can say I enjoyed myself !

Finally got problem fixed after several visits. My husband wasnt happy about the grease marks left on his truck. Really like Debra but going to find another dealer.

Matt, as well as his manager, looked at photos of my car to provide a rough trade in value and when it met my desired value I was all in to make the trip. My wife is going to be getting into a new car in the near future and even though this dealer is 1-1/2 hours away I will be checking their inventory first before going to anyone else!
