Wow! Could not of been happier with Gerber. They had great employees, friendly voices and were finished with my car a few days before estimated repair time. I had to have my whole front end replaced due to my first official accident. My insurance worked with this company and all i had to do was pay my deductible. Gerber made the experience such a pleasant one. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone needing repairs done. Thanks for everything!!!

Do not use!!!GERBER car place is the worse. OMG gave an outrageous price then lied of what my out of pocket costs would be. Quote 6k for a $2800 repair that was that same price in other two estimates, THEN TOLD ME BC MY INSURANCE IS A $500 DEDUCTIBLE, TOLD ME THAT THE INSURANCE WOULD PAY THEM $500 AND I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE REST.TAKE IT TO COLLISION PAINT AND AUTO REPAIR AND SEE TYLER. I LOVED THEM. SO HONEST. Told me I was told very inaccurate about what Gerber told me regarding insurance.Tyler at collision is the best. I never give reviews on anything, unless it’s something this insane.

Quality repairs and delivered ahead of schedule.

I submitted an online inquiry for glass and body repair, and got a fairly quick return call (great!), but was not able to answer the return call. When I called back to the number, my call was answered by some sort of answering service who asked me what I needed. When I described the issue, he said I had reached the glass shop (ok?), and then proceeded to tell me that they did not offer any glass repair in my area (by zip code). He then asked me if I could give him any other zip codes to search by - I gave him the zip code of Gerber Collision and __Glass__ as shown on their website and he again said that they did not do glass repairs and that they had no glass repair service in my area.I have now chosen a different repair shop that answered the phone directly and had me speak with a technician to confirm that they did the sort of work needed and that they worked with my insurance company. I will probably not try Gerber again based on the experience noted above.

They are amazing. They fixed me car in less than a week. My car looks absolutely amazing. I am so happy I chose them to fix my car.

Slow response

The only auto body shop I will ever use. Mike and Joel treat you like family and make sure that no one including the insurance company try to take advantage of you. Mike and Joel understand this is the transportation for your family and family is sacred. I will NEVER take my vehicles or my families vehicles anywhere else no matter where in the country we are when we have a bad day Joel will take care of it all. They are like our extended family and have always provided services above and beyond our expectations.

This shop is working on repairing my friends car which was hit by plywood on the highway. Shes a single mom who was on her way to pick up her two boys coming back from spending the summer with relatives in FL. This body shop has been so great to my friend and is even paying for her and her two boys to go to the zoo while theyre in AL! This is true customer service and a VERY generous gift for my friend! Five stars to these guys!

I had a great experience using Oak Mountain Body Shop. I mainly dealt with one of their managers, Austin. He was very professional and prompt in dealing with my issues. He made sure to update me continually throughout the process, and got my vehicle back into immaculate condition in a shorter amount of time than I expected. I would definitely recommend them to any of my family or friends.

GREAT service, and they will work on YOUR side and not the Insurances. Theyll make sure that your car is fixed properly and with quality parts instead of the crap parts that the insurance would try to put in your car. They are also not affiliated with any insurance companies, they are one of the few left truly independent body shops.

Needed a quick fix from a small incident that caused the tire to occasionally come into contact with the fender. Since the incident happened with a friend, and we were ok with a bit of a dent so long as the car drove safely, we just needed to get the fender pulled back away from the tire. Another shop was really vague about what they could do and what it would cost and stopped responding, but we sent a picture here and they gave us an estimated price range and told us to come by when we could. They did it in about 2 minutes and didnt charge us anything. Worked with Austin, and he was great! Theyll be our first choice if were ever in need of a body shop again. Thanks guys!

Terrible service did not get my vehicle back on the time I was told got it back two months after I was supposed to. Had to do their job sending them links in order to get the correct part not to mention leaving screws out a stripped

I had three estimates and they were $400 higher then any of them. Staff was friendly. Theyre no longer Oak Mountain they were bought by Gerber 3 weeks ago

They do good body work but performed unauthorized work way above their estimate not authorized by my insurance company or me without getting prior approval. Cost me additional $3K to get my car back.

I will say that this body shop gave me the best experience ever!!! Austin is awesome and they kept me in the loop of each step my car was in!!!!!!

I took a car to Mike Capps that had been rear-ended. Damage about $1200. He charged me $90 over and above what the other guys insurance would cover to do needless repairs. I wont ever take a car to this guy or his business again.
