I had a lovely experience at H and H in Pelham. I ordered my truck cover online and had it installed in person. Jeff, the manager, kept me company the whole time it was being installed and was a truly wonderful, genuine person. After it was installed, they asked if I knew how to operate it, and I did, so didn’t need to get a demo but I truly appreciated the offer instead of just trying to shove a customer out the door. Have been a long time customer of H&H. I think I was there 2nd or .3rd customer when they first opened the Alabaster store. They have always been professional and prepared when it was time to do the install. Great service friendly staff.

First time visit and was just in to pick up a few hitch accessories. Walked in as they opened and so did two other customers. Only one guy on the floor, but he seemed helpful. Small store but a decent variety on the showroom. As more employees walked in they kept walking versus helping customers. Will return, but think the customer service could be better, just don’t visit upon them opening.

I ordered side steps for my truck months ago. I called in July to see if they had came in. The rep I used Jeff was on vacation. I left a message for him to call me. Finally last week Oct I called. Found they had tried to call me but H & H had the wrong number. Wonder why someone didn’t try to google me since not difficult to get my number since I sell Real Estate. Made appt to take truck in. Tech people installed and upon checking wasn’t secure. Tech people were told to redo. Got back still not secure and had to wait to do again. Was also to cut off mud flaps and reattach since they were too long when loaded with RV. They left off middle screws. Had to go back again. After getting home noticed they trimmed one mud flap but not both. All the above is not good customer service. Techs and employees need to pay attention to what work is being asked to do.

Did a good job installing the hitch. The wiring harness a different story. I paid H & H to install the wiring, come to find out it had been installed at the factory and only needed to be activated. I had to go back to the dealer to get this done plus pay an additional $150. I felt I should have been told about this up front not after the work was partially completed.

Went in and got step bars, and gooseneck installed. Was very impressed with how timely they got done with the installation. They called me when it was done and I came and picked it up and they showed me how to work the gooseneck. Great customer service from Brandon and Jeff.

Great price on swimming pools. We had a good experience over all with both the sale and the installation company. Last year we searched high and low. So we knew we had to buy early this year and luckily they had some in stock.

Horrible experience with my truck. They can’t seem to fix the problem and they will not accept any resolutions I’ve offered. Tomorrow will be my 5th trip to have the problem fixed. Would give the staff rather low marks as well. I think they want me to give up and go away.

At 9:30pm, I went outside and looked in the bed. It was wet at least 50% of the bed. I will be back in the morning for you to fix. At this point, not a happy camper!

Called a few times and left messages about getting a spray in liner. Emailed a few times, no response at all. I finally got someone to answer and said I would call right back to schedule an appointment. No answer, left a message and yet to receive a call back. Guess they didn’t want my business. I try to support local businesses. Guess I’ll take it to line x or four wheel part

I bought seat covers on 1/9/2021. I was understanding with shipping delays so waited it out till 3/8/2021. Once they installed my covers, that is where the lack of service came in. Their install team was going to let me drive off with black dirty finger marks on my seat covers. The lack of respect for a product I just bought from them blew me away. I wouldn’t buy anything else because I be worried they didn’t care enough to fully do it write.

They went way above and beyond. With Christmas and work my only day to swing by was Christmas Eve. They not only called down to the warehouse to make sure it was in stock, they let me follow them down to pick it up to make sure I’d have for Christmas. Great folks all around and would not hesitate to do business with them in the future!

Great install experience

I had a front leveling kit put on today by H&H. The had everything completed and done properly in a timely manner. I was very impressed with the customer service I received from Brandon and also Barrett! They did an alignment and adjusted my headlights as well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Where to start? $250 for floor mats.Next day promise and got a set of worn out used mats. Said they would fix it by next day. Next day no mats they said next day.Next day got new mats. Front was beige rear was black. Now they say next week maybe they will fix it. No big deal usully but they still charged full tilt price when this has become ridiculous and their fault.I dont think Ill be using them to finish my truck.

My first time there and it was excellent. I had them install 2 sets of off road lights to a Jeep. The sales guy, Jimmy, was knowledgeable and friendly. The tech that did the install was a true craftsman and I am very picky. He did a great job! I was impressed with all the people that I met there. If you have a truck, you should really check out their showroom - lots of great toys for big boys.

It started out great fast and easy sevice. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Then they came to deliver the carport and they brought us the wrong one to start with. They said it was a mistake and said they would call when they came back with the correct one. They did not call and they placed it in the wrong spot. They said they needed help moving it to the correct spot and they would call again to move it but again they did not call and when they went to move it to the correct spot they dented and cracked my gutters! The fact that I have pictures to prove that they tore my gutter up is enough to say that I would not recommend them to anyone and the fact that they never called before putting it up so it was not put in proper spot. Yes they did get the carport eventually the correct one and up in the correct spot but that was after several days and 3 visits. They still have not called to hear me out or anything.

I am giving this place 1 star not because of the service that I received it is because of the service a young hispanic woman receive after she left she came in the store with a problem with a swimming pool problem to see if they can help her after she left they start discussing her problem and one gentleman made the comment I wanted to say to her thats why you people should pay cash and laugh I guess thats when they recognize I was still in the store and as a black man to hear that is really heartbreak

Horrible customer service. My fiancée and I were in there to buy lights for my jeep. The workers were all gathered at one desk laughing and chit chatting. Not one employee greeted us or asked did we need help until they saw us leaving out the store. Very unprofessional

Really disappointed in the installation quality. Had a retrax cover installed on my truck. The drains werent properly routed, so the first time it rained, water got all in my bed. Since then (within 3 months of installation) Ive had two pieces of the cover come off that Ive had to fix myself. I really feel the guy that installed it didnt take his time since he was done in probably 15 minutes.

I had an excellent experience here. The bumper I ordered came in sooner than expected. I work odd hours with no advance notice. They worked me in for the installation with no appointment. They also charged me less for labor than the original estimate. I couldnt believe how helpful and accommodating the staff was. I will recommend this store to everyone.

This place was recommended as a place to acquire a trailer hitch for my vehicle by Cahaba Cycle up the street. I had done some online reviews of a Draw-Tite. This group took my request and ordered the hitch and within 2 days scheduled the installation and project completion. Great guys in the place as I felt very comfortable with the experience. For the record,this is my first time ever posting a review. It started out great. Ordered the top for my truck, fast and friendly service. It went down hill the day I dropped off my truck to have my camper shell installed.After speaking with a gentleman about setting up a appointment, we both agreed we would meet the next morning at 7:00. We meet and after a few minutes into our conversation he doesnt recall who I am. ( No problem)I had previous told them I had to leave town at noon. I never received a phone call when the truck was completed.At 12:30 I pull up and its finished outside. ( Okay, great) The same gentleman that took my deposit and sold me the top asked How could help me?I respectfully said, I have the Silver GMC that you guys installed a top on. SORRY Sir, We sell $160K a month here,and I cant remember everyone. After this comment, I began to heat up. I just bought a Brand New Camper shell that I wanted, not needed. As he finishes the paperwork, I look it over and ask about the keys. Again,same poor, arrogant attitude. Check your key ring( I checked there before even asking) Later he found out they didnt send them with the top. I can look past a lot, as we all live in this fast pace world. However, lack of communication, & arrogant comments is the reason Im leaving (my first) review.

I had a great experience dealing with H&H in Pelham. They installed a leveling kit and new tires on my truck. I also got a bedcover and bed lights from them. Quick installation and worked around my schedule. I talked mostly with Jeff and Tom, great guys. I will go back for all my truck needs.

Made an appointment to put rock lights on a truck. The job takes just an hour. I took off work and drove 45 minutes to H n H to hear that the guys that was talking outside the garage (not working) was running behind and could not fill their obligation of working on my truck for just 1 hour. Will not recommend this place to anyone, one reason they dont understand how a telephone works or they could have called, second reason hire better workers instead of talkers.

I personally do not even know where to start. Ive been going to H&H in Pelham for about 3 years now with crazy ideas to customize my truck and not once have i had an issue with their work or their employees, every one of them are very helpful and know exactly what they are talking about. About 6 months ago i bought a new truck and i knew i wanted to put a lift kit on it, i went to multiple shops around Alabama and not one of the came close to the price that H&H quoted me. About $700 cheaper than another local shop was going to charge. I dropped off my truck in the morning and had it back by the time they closed and was given back a truck that was 8 inches higher! if you want amazing service and work the right way, go to H&H.
