Cant even tell if its open anymore, pulled counted 3 or 4 cars parked, 6 cop suvs waiting to ticket someone... all watching me it felt 2 passed by twice I just waved. I just needed to send a text... as it was, but left soon after the second cop passed... it was so uncomfortable. Sad I had many many memories there. Maybe the first chic filet I ever had was theres man have they grown. Grandma used to drive me to stand in line for new jordan sneakers. As a teen while skipping school on Wednesdays, before the hype and Saturday releases. Guess the newer part of Pasadena killed the mall. Hopefully San Jacinto mall doesnt end the same way...been closed since before COVID... for remodeling. First Sharpstown then town square, almost gulgate... no clue whats going on at Almeda mall.

Grew up on and off in Pasadena had some good memories here. I walked in an was like wth is going on here. Can even afford the a/c bill oh que. Shut it down.

It is only my opinion but I believe Macroplaza is knocking on deaths door, I wasnt counting but I think saying 10 stores in that huge space were all that were still open...sad, at one time this place was booming but with coronavirus and a move to internet sales ..this Dinostore is on its way out...

Terrible mall. Goes more and more downhill every year. No food court. Has barely any stores left in it. Finish line and champs are the only big name stores left and their selection was very small and what they did have they didnt have a variety of sizes. Cell phone place a rip off. They wanted $60 for a phone case you can get on Amazon for $10. Just not even worth the stop.

Even though this isnt the mall it used to be I still enjoy going there at times. It isnt packed and youll probably find what you need there. You dont have to fight to get a parking space. Good food, snacks and stores. I real wish that they would add better stores. Cant wait to see the renovation that they say is coming. Hope they never close this mall.

Heck, Id give it a 4 stars. The mall is what people refer to as a dying mall, regardless of that it still has that special something that makes it feel special. Like it only has one anchor store and its Sears. Thats unique. Also I sometimes hear an eerie childs laugh play over the PA system ( I think).

Its a total dead zone... the only shops open are almost like an old indoor fleamarket shops... or the way gulfgate mall was before they bulldozed it and started fresh. The one food place that was open was courteous, but over priced even for a mall. A far cry from the busy mall it was 10-15 years ago.

I did not Hate this place....I was more Stunned than anything I guess you could say. It used to be so Busy and exciting shopping there....now its almost a ghost town. Sears was my main stop...it was so empty of merchandise compared to the was it used to be. Weve purchased all of our major appliances, beds, tools, exercise equipment, yard work equipment from there...it must be closing....no one will tell us it is....but it sure isnt being stocked. I felt really saddened when I left.

Not many shops. The dining area probably had more shops than the rest of the mall. Empty most of the time. However, it has a Sears, Palais Royal, and several shoe stores. Theres also a decent playground area for kids but it gets hot seeing as how theres a skylight right above it that lets the sun light shine right on the playground equipment.

Although it’s really empty and half the mallow close, it’s always clean and a lot of people seem to enjoy it as a walk in the park kind of place. Unsure what’s the destiny of this place, it was the place for everyone but it’s now just fading away. I heard they are remodeling it and they’re putting a big market store but I’m not sure that will lift it up they really need to put a movie theater and maybe another branch of Fitness Connection, that would definitely pump this place up!

Is seriously lacking in stores, I dont hate it its just that there isnt much herelike it used to be. If they would just open up some stores in the mall you know that would definitely improve the place. Im sure that takes money that they are lacking, but if they were to make some improvements it would be a decent Mall.

If you come early enough, you can hear what life was here until it died. Another mall that needs to just get erased from the mall list. Everyone is gone and even as I type, leaving! Like there are little shops with lights on, employees sitting around but the gate is down and stuff is in boxes. I think I saw 3 like that so far and I dont blame them. This place used to be bigger but seems they cut that part off so..... Back to the good ones.

They just opened a new store called Thred Up Basement. They sell second hand clothing and shoes; you will find from The North Face to Michael Kors in GREAT condition. Unlike your typical thrift stores that charges you a ridiculous high price for stained and ripped clothing just because of its brand I’m very surprised that Thred Up has a lot of high end brands with little to no damage for cheap
