Unimpressed with the way things are done at this office. Went in circles for weeks about whether our insurance was accepted or not. Called our insurance company to verify, they said no. Called Hearing Aid Health Care, they said yes. Not reassuring when one is trying to pay $5100 for a set of hearing aids.Eventually asked the insurance company to call Hearing Aid Health Care to get a straight answer. If you talk to your insurance company they will tell you that insurance coverage is complex and determined by the office tax ID and physician. One cannot assume that because they have a certain insurance plan that are covered at any hearing aid office (or any medical office for that matter). We decided to go with another hearing aid office ultimately. Bighorn Hearing Aid Center are much better organized, will take your insurance details to verify your coverage right away and offer a 5-week trial period for all hearing aids.I must admist that Shari the office manager is lovely and a pleasure to engage with. We just didnt feel assured by the processes or options we were given and will not be returning.

This is from my husband, Sandy. I have had a hearing loss for over 25 years. I was hesitant to admit to this loss initially and firmly believe that there is a 5 year period of denial for most people. Once I admitted to this disability, I was fitted with hearing aids and stopped asking people to repeat what they just said to me! Over the years, my hearing loss increased and I heard but could not understand all that was said. I had to wear a headset in order to hear the tv. I had difficulty going to restaurants as the noise levels were too loud and movies were impossible for me to attend. I used a remote microphone at the restaurants to help hear, but even that was not the greatest.I have been a client of Hearing Aid Health Care for over ten years. They have always been there for me and worked with me to get the most volume and best fit for my aids. Recently I went for a check-up. That’s when I met Colleen Bolte. This delightful, energetic woman told me that she felt a new pair of hearing aids could help me with the above situations and allow me to be a bit more social. My skepticism became obvious. “Trust me” she said. She shared that she, too, has a hearing loss and that she uses this new type of aid. I agreed and am glad I did.At home, with the new Starkey hearing aids, I found that I was able to hear the TV at a sound level that is comfortable for my wife and listen without my headphones! I have not been able to do that in about seven years.A few weeks after I got the new hearing aids, we were invited to the coast with some friends for wine-tasting and dinner. When I walked into the first restaurant, I was ready to walk out. However, I did what Colleen said I should do - switch to the “noise” program on the aids. Amazing - the background noise was suppressed. My friends used the new remote microphone and I was able to hear them and participate in the conversation.Last week, I went to the movies and was able to hear and understand the dialogue in the film. Granted, it was not an action packed film, but it was the first time that I have been able to hear AND understand what was being said in the movie.Since I trusted Colleen to try these new aids, my life has changed. I feel that I am now an active participant in what is going on around me. I still have some small problems, but I have a professional who is there by my side to help me. Thank you, Colleen, for your patience and for helping me to achieve a better quality of life. I am a Happy Camper!

They checked my hearing and confirmed the minor loss in each ear was still within normal so no hearing aid required. They also removed two calcified wax deposits from my wifes ears, which she didnt realize she had but had been causing pain at random times. All of this with no wait, for free, and without any attempt at sales. Amazing.
