Great Italian sub fresh they really don’t scrimp on the meat !! I love this place will be back

The bagel sandwich was super fresh. You can feel that it’s a family place. A wonderful spot to grab some affordable breakfast if you’re in town.

Its a great local spot to pickup a quality bagel at a very reasonable price. Most places around here gouge you for a bagel sandwich and they arent near as good as what you get here. Highly recommended. Pro tip, call in your order for a quick pickup!

Stopped here for lunch two times the past two weeks. One of the best places in palm coast to get a sub. Loved the steak and cheese, and Italian!

I ordered an egg sandwich with two eggs on white toast scrambled with salt and pepper added and asked for the toast to be toasted and crispy. I ordered it and had my boyfriend pick it up for me to save me time getting ready for work. They wrap the sandwiches in aluminum which caused the bread to have condensation soak through each slice. Not to mention the eggs were overly salty over cooked and unedible. The sandwich on the left is what they sold me. The sandwich on the right is what I made after realizing that the sandwich that they gave me was unedible. I called a manager at Sub base and bagel place and was told that they would not refund me the item but would replace the sandwich if I brought them the sandwich they made. Which was impossible because I had to be to work. The sandwich was not edible and I didn’t get my money back and had a very rude impression off the manager. Won’t be returning.UPDATE: The manager is lying to try to look good. I was not offered a refund only a remake if I brought back the sandwich to them at that time. (Couldn’t I had to be to work) Very rude manager over phone. The time I ordered the egg sandwich was 8:58 am - the time I took the picture of their egg sandwich AND the one I made it was 9:34 that is 36 minutes total (including the time it takes my boyfriend to bring the sandwich back to me and for me to make my own sandwich) My boyfriend picked up that sandwich within 15 mins of me ordering it. Awful service

This lady is so nice I felt like my Mami was cooking for me back home. Crumb cake was delicious. Played The Last Episode so Id say good music too.

I rarely eat bagels so it is a treat but was I disappointed! The bagel was not fresh, it had to be from yesterday, on the harder side. The woman was not friendly, didn’t smile, sans mask, seemed almost put out, no it was not busy. Hard to believe bit DD has better bagels 😢hate to give a bad review.

Loved how cozy this place is !! We barely missed the cutoff for breakfast but the staff was kind enough to let us get some anyway. Everyone was nice and the place was very clean!!! A must visit for breakfast lovers everywhere :-)

AMAZING BAGELS! I go here just about every Sunday for breakfast. Best place in town for a Bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. Also the French toast and pan cakes are to die for. The service is always phenomenal, especially from the server Emily! If you’re looking for a nice, small town, quiet, comfy breakfast spot than Sub Base & Bagel Place is the spot to go!

Just moved down this week and wanted to get 2 dozen, cream cheese etc for everyone helping me move. The worker said I could only get 8.... disappointed as this was the first let down since moving to Palm Coast. For the record... we generally get a dozen or so every week.

Chicken parm was way over cooked and tasted like a shoe. No one even cared that I didnt eat most of it. To busy gossiping with friends. Dont wait your time.

The staff was very rude and the bagels were hard as a rock! The cream cheese was off as well. I didn’t even finish it and that’s extremely rare. We will not be back. I will order online and have them shipped instead.

Third time visiting and 3rd time being treated rudely by the staff from the get go. Walked away this time. Such a shame because the bagels are pretty good. There is no excuse for being rude to a customer that is being polite to you. We will never go back.

Ordered a pork roll and cheese, and this is the first place in palm coast who makes it decent. Ever since I left jersey, I’ve been craving this sandwich

Normally an awesome place for a home cooked style breakfast. I think the kitchen had an off day today though. Pancakes were a little on the burnt side, as well as my husbands bacon and toast. All in all the food was very good. Wait staff ALWAYS KIND AND SWEET.

Bagels were raw and doughy. French toast had a huge pile of raw cinnamon just dumped on. Omelette was just scrambled eggs with ingredients just thrown on top. I have given this place two chances on both times food went in the trash.

The bagels looked AMAZING, but unfortunately we were unable to enjoy any of them because there were no vegan schmear options. I’d been hoping for hummus, peanut butter or other nut butter, almond cheese, or any kind of non-dairy spread. :( Hopefully they’ll consider adding some of these, because I would LOVE for this to become my new favorite place. I could bring my writers group!

They were unaware as to what a chicken cutlet is, and the sandwiches are about as bad as I have ever eaten.

I have been to this place at least half a dozen times and each time had a very pleasant experience. You definitely get the best bang for your buck and leave satisfied. The staff is very friendly and take care of every customer. Its a small place with a great vibe. Their food is superb :)

Both the breakfast and service were excellent. I recommend and will return.

To start off the wait of the food took way too long. I went with two other people and someone who came in before us we served before we were. Then on top of that, the place is not clean and people walk in and out of the back door as the choose (very unprofessional). Then the food terrible. The bread was dry and the grits was watery, and then the pancakes were not fresh, it tasted like it was pre made and frozen. I would never and could never go back. The lady who asked us what we wanted to drink had a very nasty attitude as well. The eggs were not terrible but they needed some work. The only good part about this restaurant was the attitude from the waitresses.

Excellent bagels and chicken salad! Upon leaving though, a trip to the extremely dirty bathroom made me questioning whether their kitchen would have looked the same. Very friendly staff though and again, great bagels and chicken salad.

The food and service were good, but nobody mentioned the breakfast special on Thursday morning when we went. It wasnt noticed until the bill was paid. Unfortunate, because we would have purchased it.

For a pizza bagel and fries which was good bit over a 11.00 dollars a little pricey.

Excellent food selections. All Boars Head cold cut Sub Sandwiches. Home made hot soups. Fresh delicious salads. All fresh breakfast bagels, muffins, apple turnovers, and more. Eggs cooked any style, breakfast meats, pancakes and more.

Went in to pick up a to go order, girl at the counter was beyond pretentious and had a nasty attitude. Would’ve considered going back, but she ruined my first impression. Take note, management; if you’re going to hire people in the customer service industry, it would behoove you to hire people that are friendly, and don’t give snarky remarks to innocent questions.

Worst sub I ever had. Got a cheese steak 12 cost $10.38 value = overpriced by $10.28I ordered a simple steak and cheese w/ mayo,lettuce and tomatoes.Steak was fatty and chewy, tomatoes soggy lettuce wilted roll was awful.Never eat there again.Not good

Great breakfast spot for bagels or traditional breakfast items. You gotta try and make it obvious when you enter as it is a seat yourself establishment.

They only had 2 waitresses on and they couldnt handle it and had to ask several times for silverware and both orders were wrong also they waited on a table that came in after us. Waitresses werent very nice. I probably wont be coming back to this place I can get a better breakfast at the Golden corral... I dont know who ree hud is but she is full of you know what yes it was after the hurricane but the first waitress was very nasty and BOTH orders were wrong. There is no reason for bad customer service

Not sure on food but drove 20 min. off the path got there at 10 min. til 3 on Sunday and they were closed.

Love going there for the subs......on a half sub the amount of meat would do six subway 12 inchers.....and they taste so good....do yourself a favor.....stop and try !!!!

Some of the worst bagels I have ever had. Greasy, flavorless—I cant imagine why this place has a good rating. The shop itself is tiny and dirty. I ordered bagels, cream cheese, and two breakfast sandwiches for a group, and we all thought they were terrible.I specifically asked for the eggs in the breakfast sandwiches to be cooked over hard, and in both cases, the eggs were only about halfway cooked. I specifically asked for toasted bagels for the sandwiches to cut down on grease, and in both cases, they were horribly greasy. The bacon had no flavor, was all fat, and had no crispiness at all. The cheese tasted like garbage processed cheese. And the cream cheese had about as much flavor as the bagels (none).I am really into bagels, but its not just me. No one in my group thought these were even halfway edible. We threw most of it out. Go to Kendalls Bagels & More for bagels in Palm Coast. This place is atrocious.
