A friend recommended this store and Im glad I checked them out, the only place I found that havent gouged people on prices and are always friendly! I know a few places that definitely are not and these people are awesome. Always answer your question and super easy to work with. Getting me a sun conure and they had some babys available and I get to bring mine home soon!! I love the selection they have. Coolest little bird place Ive seen. I recommend everyone to go there and my neighbor is going to get a bird from them also. I really like this place!

Run by wonderful people, selling the sweetest birds!!Handfed, hand tamed, loving, companion birds. If you are looking for a bird, THIS is the spot!! They know how old the birds are, down to the day! Workers are also capable of telling you the gender of your new friend as well!A layaway program is also available and they allow you to visit your bird whenever theyre open, and quite encourage it as well. They are also on a first name basis with their clients and there is a very welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in!You can also purchase excellent cages, toys, treats, food, grooming equipment, etc all on site as well! I HIGHLY recommend this bird store! I drove over an hour to get there and would happily do it again, should I purchase another bird.

I personally know someone who had a very good experience with Bird Walk, which is the reason we went there when my teenage daughter was considering buying a bird. Unfortunately because of our experience the last time we were there, I will not be setting foot in that store ever again. The lady who works there (didn’t get her name) is always helpful and patient, explaining the differences and temperaments of the various birds which we appreciated since my daughter was still in the deciding phase of which type of bird she wanted. However on our last visit, there was a man there along with the woman, who made a comment along the lines of ‘they’ll be here all day, treating this place like a zoo and never buying anything’. I was standing right there. Regardless of whether or not he was referring to us, I felt it very poor taste to say that in earshot of a potential customer.

Great place to shop for and spoil my Green Cheeked conure. We recently bought a bugie and an english budgie from the birdwalk. They have been well fed and cared for. My wife was even able to visit and bond with her baby bird while wheening off of formula. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Offering a wide variety of toys, food, live birds, and other services as well. 5 stars really is an understatement. I would rate 6 out of 5 stars.

They have such a wide variety of birds and great bird toys they raise there babies from hand to make sure none of them are aggressive they give the best information as they can and I will be getting a bird from there I would only go there for a bird. When you are shopping for a bird she/he (whoever is working there at the time) place’s a bird on your arm to make sure you are comfortable and not scared of a bird they are very comforting And I will only and always go there for a bird and bird Products!

Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! Went to the store looking for my first parrot, they helped me narrow down what species would work best for me and I got the sweetest Green Cheek. He is a very healthy, happy boy and I will definitely return for all of his perch and toy needs! Would also return for any additions to our little flock!

This is wonderful locally owned bird store on Liberty Street in Painesville. A one-stop shop for all kinds of exotic birds and bird supplies. It is also a great place to board your bird if you go out of town for a few days or weeks. They take the same great care of your bird that they take with their own. There prices are very reasonable for boarding, for supplies, and for birds raised from eggs to feel comfortable around people. I highly recommend supporting this locally owned treasure.

Never saw a place that sold ostriches before! I like the bald eagles that they have for sale there but $20k is a bit steep. Be sure not to wear sandals or else the 30 chickens running around there will peck your toes bloody. I LOVE THIS PLACE! 😁

Two years ago I drove from Akron to purchase a rosey Bourke. After seeing so many selections I wasnt sure because it was my first bird purchase and I originally wanted something affordable and not too big or small. The lady was nice and informative. She found out my needs and said I have the perfect baby for you ! She says she fits your personality! She takes me over to the cage and this little sweet fat Quaker wobbles out of the cage. Steps up on my finger and I was hooked. I took her and her cage home! After I got her home is another story lolol! She didnt like not knowing where she was 😂. They have anything you may need to make a complete purchase. I am enjoying getting to know her. And shes still a Sweet pea 😍

From the very first step inside, I could tell this was a place full of life and healthy birds. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and you could tell they truly loved and knew a lot about the birds they were selling.

Was looking for a quaker parrot after mine passed away in december. I found this place and from the moment I walked in Frank has been so helpful. I am currently visiting my baby quaker parrot once a week until he is weened and able to come home. I am late with this review, but I feel I should share. I purchased a baby conure that was still being syringe fed so I could not take him home right away. During A visit I was informed that one of his toes was bitten off. They cauterizes the stump and started antibiotics. I can tell that the staff cares about the birds, but I was a little annoyed that my bird was hurt. I recieved a small discount for the injury and took the bird home early. It has been a year and he is a happy, healthy, and very loving bird. Overall, I am thankful to the Birdwalk for providing me with such a special bird.
