The visit was ok until we got to the check out and Monica the cashier was scanning my things and I noticed that the life jacket for my 3 year old was wrung up wrong well what I thought was wrong because of where it was setting it was setting in a PUDDLE JUMPER BOX ON MENARDS SHELF FOR 19.99 WHEN SHE RANG IT UP IT RANG UP FOR 34.99. MONICA WOULD NOT CHANGE THE PRICE OR EVEN MARK IT DOWN, I made it known to her I didnt know I was going to have to do her job and read there tags.

Was there over the weekend. Looking at showers. We are completely Redoing our bathroom. 2 employees in the area and not one asked if they could help. Went to Lowes and the gentleman was very helpful. We purchased part and will go back to were we got help.

You have to go find someone if you need help. Low stock. Check out people nice. Wont shop here unless I have to.

It is easy to find the items you are looking for check out staff is polite and courteous

They have a lot of good products available for pretty much anything. Its a bit hard to navigate the store items but staff was helpful. Prices are good also.

This isn’t a store we go to often, so I asked more than one associate where a few things were. I got a vague description of where the items might be, no one offered to show me or at least look up the aisle… we ended up just leaving the store after walking to the general areas we were told and not finding what we were looking for….Frustrating to say the least.

A magically large place you can get lost in.... literally its huge maybe too huge but it does help with social distancing took me 20 minutes to get a lawnmower 16 minutes of it was walking across the store lol. My cashier was friendly and s good selection of products.Edit* was not the end still Trying to find my way out send help. I think the workers have turned on me Ive hunkered down into one of the display playground buildings for safety. Ive survived on what food they have here. I know they are looking for me and grow suspicious more and more with each passing day. Its like a zombie outbreak

I absolutely love menards! It is one of the few stores that I can go in for one thing and 2 hours later my better half is having to drag me out by my ears! Typically good sales and the people that work there are extremely knowledgable & helpful... Keep up the great work you all!

It is best to order on line and pick up your order at the store, because its a big store and the items on your shopping list maybe located far apart calling for lots of walking. The store associates are helpful and I had to ask where to find several items on my shopping list.

Always great prices and better service. Returns are a breeze here and they have remained one of the safest stores throughout the pandemic and have released restrictions appropriately.

Went to get indoor outdoor carpet and the young man that was waiting on us was not friendly and was inadequate on helping us. When we went to report about our ordeal the ladies at the service desk were not friendly or helpful at all. Overall very dissatisfied.

Went to the store and picked up four gallons of paint. They all had the same code on the lid but two were a different color. Went back this morning to exchange one gallon of the wrong paint and they tried to charge me $10 for the exchange. Painted half the room and its still the wrong color. I dont know whatbthe issue is or why they are having this problem. Ive painted a room three times and I now have to go somewhere else and totally start over. Menards is a waste of time. Even their color scanning computer cant match paint. (Shame i cant add pictures to this review. I now have a room that is three shades of the wrong color.)

The place has pretty much anything a person could need and their store is always clean. But.... the way you have to buy lumber is ridiculous. Having to enter a building walk to the back to order and pay, go back to your vehicle drive around and pick out your lumber. If you realize you need to add something you have to repeat the process. If they would put registers at the inspection station (thats another complaint) the place would be perfect.

Lowes and Home Depot still have no chest freezers after 10 months of saying out of stock except the small 5 c. foot. Menards has the 13+ c. ft. in stocks and since our oven went out today, they got a sale of a range and deep freezer. Super fast service as well.

Visited the store on a Saturday in the am hours. Store was well stocked and staff was accommodating. The store appeared to be clean and is well lit. Wide array of products and options.

Walked into the store today to purchase materials for a new floor project for my wife, was stopped for not wearing a mask, was asked to leave. I can not wear a mask due to medical issues but that apparently doesn’t matter even with medical cards as proof that by law you ARE NOT obligated to show.Half of the customers and staff were not wearing a mask but I’m the issue? Will not return to this joke of a store. Called management over the situation and corporate, waste of time. Only store I’ve ever had any issue with. Very unprofessional and rude.

Menards in store never disappoints. One of my favorite stores by far. In the lumber yard however sometimes the setup is a bit inconvenient. For example we purchased (2) 2x12x12 boards and they were located upstairs. Pain to find first of all, and then get down. Nevertheless, I still will always choose Menards as my hardware store. (Really be nice if you offered a Veterans discount as well like Lowes)

I go here for the 11% rebate. The weedeater I bought was 199.99 plus shipping on Amazon. It was also $199.99 plus I get 11% back. No brainer. Compare prices to Amazon (Prime is worth it lol)

Had everything I needed for my home repair projects.

I purchased two tool boxes on line. They shipped them very quickly and they arrived in two days. The only problem is that they shipped it to the wrong address. Completely on the other side of town, wrong number, wrong street, wrong zip code. I called customer service and guess what. it has to be on e-mail. Days later they sent me a response. i was charged the delivery and processing fee of $35.00 because they said it was my mistake. They told me i had only entered the city with no address. I guess their system picked a random address to ship it to. Its their software. $35.00 is cheap for a good lesson. Never buy from them again!

I was not greeted when I entered the store. Not a soul was attending to the lawn and garden area to help customers. A guy in a different department helped me the best he could so if I could rate only him itd be 5 stars. The cashier was very nice and helpful and she would get 5 stars alone. The 2 employees who helped me is why I give 2 starsI still dont think I purchased everything I need.

Ive been shopping at Menards for over 25 years & have been in more than a dozen different stores.Ive always found the staff courteous & many times, go out of their way to help.Ive had managers stop what they were doing, to try & resolve a problem that haf come up with an order &/or a load of goods that I had ordered &/or received.I personally, prefer them over the other large retail lumber companies.

On 8/15/2020, my husband and I traveled to the Owensboro Menard’s location. To our surprise we found a recliner we loved! Great price! We immediately purchased and asked them to hold it until we could come back with another vehicle large enough to transport.We arrived 8/15/2020 to the pickup area. We waited for 20 minutes and were told they forgot to pull the item and it was sold to someone else.We were refunded and told, “I’m sorry.” I’m so disappointed. If there is a next time, we’ll be prepared to haul that day.

Great store just to strict on the mask.

BEWARE!!! Online order customer service is horrible. I waited over a month for a flashlight, then when it arrived I was only given a few days to pick up before it was resold. The item was paid for at time of order and this is not the first time I was disappointed. I waited over 6 weeks for a common dryer vent that happen to come across at a Ace hardware. At that point I purchased the one from Ace and then had to wait over 2 weeks for the refund.

Finding help isnt easy but once you do, they give you their full attention and help you figure out what you need.Best price on bird seed in town.Plus its nice to get ideas on next remodel job.

Love the store and the prices but the people at the check out are rude. The floor staff has been awesome but be prepared for when you check out to get attitude.

I drove 3 hours 1-way to pick up an order today. Menards had indicated the order was completely ready but when I got there, only half of the order was loaded into my truck from the contactless pickup. It was only when I got home that I realized the oversized boxes only included half of the order.I called Menards and explained the situation, how I drove 6 hours today (the definition of the extra mile) and that only half of the order was loaded, and the employee eventually found the other half of my order in their warehouse. No apologies, no consolations.After reaching out to customer service to remove the forgotten items off my bill, they were at least able to remove those items promptly.I will not be shopping at Menards in the near future to say the least..

Like Menards, they have a wider selection of in store items. Seems like when I cant find the part that I need, they have it.

Needed 85 deck boards but due to daily spending limit on our bank card could only order and pay for 54 boards over the phone, was told they had plenty and we could purchase the remaining boards with cash at the store, they also said the order would be picked and ready when we got there. Drove 2 hours to pick up the lumber and was greeted with a very rude gate attendant, and chaos. The order was not pulled and no one seemed to know what was going on. Finally got the ticket and 54 boards loaded (with my husband helping) but when we tried to purchase the remaining boards we were told they didn’t have them to sell. The guy loading the lumber even said there was plenty. Ryan at the building materials desk was extremely rude and told me they had oversold the lumber and shouldn’t have even sold us the 54 boards over the phone and he was not selling us anymore. I understand communication errors and was very patient with the people there, we just wanted an explanation why we couldn’t purchase the remaining lumber we needed after being told we could over the phone. No reason to be rude and hateful to a customer that drove that far to make a purchase. Shame on you Ryan and Menards. Never again, Home Depot will always get my business from now on.

Joe employed in lighting avoided helping customers, preferring to sweep the floor instead. Got angry when I took my problem to him.Spoke to a member of management who did nothing. Reported problem to corporate in Eau Clair, they dont take customer calls. Sad excuse for home improvement store. We need quality vendors.

Lumber is outrageous at the moment but thats not the stores fault.

No military discount, horrible return policy. Employees are not helpful....if you manage to find one. Update for 2020....1$ for a mask? Just to enter the store! You should be giving them away, or selling them at cost.

I really like this store. Large selection great prices. I was looking for a rug 7.5 ft by 10ft. They had many options under $100, and had the option to buy the matching smaller one.

Has become one of the most customer-unfriendly places in town during this Covid-19 over-reaction.No children allowed.Closes at 8:00.And now, you must wear a mask.No symptom testing. No science to support the directive. Just everyone must wear a mask.Menards has become my go-to hardware store since they opened on the east side a few years ago, but after this latest hostility toward their loyal customers, Im taking my business back to Lowes. I dont care if its 10 minutes further away. Im tired of the Menards hassle.

Writing review from an online order because there is no where else to put it. Purchased an edge trimmer for Fathers day on 6/6/20. The delivery came with a couple of the ordered items,but the box was completely opened and packaged horribly with two different sized boxes sort of taped together to make a taller box! But they werent even the same sized boxes, so its no surprise there was a gaping whole when UPS carried it to the door, which we have video of. I submitted a ticket to customer service the moment I got the box. It is now 7/4/20 and we still have not gotten an UPDATE, REFUND, or the ITEM! I ALSO called this location because it is the closest to us and they said the only thing to do is submit a ticket. I called corporate and they transferred me to a voicemail. This is horribly unprofessional and my husband still does not have his fathers day gift!
