It’s been awhile since I have worked here, it was my first job ever, looking back at the job made me realize just how awful that place really was! We weren’t allowed to talk to each other, we weren’t even allowed to eat. When my family showed up to paint… I wasn’t allowed to talk to them. When you have no idea how a workplace is supposed to run, it’s easy to not see any red flags 🚩. After working my way up to management and at multiple jobs it really makes me wonder just how miserable the owner might be.. (Debbie). If you’re coming here to paint, sure! If you think this might be a good place to work… you should go literally anywhere else. I look forward to seeing a response from the owner! Debbie, you should be very grateful you don’t have reputation on Glassdoor, it would make a drastic impact at your company, sweetie.REPLY TO OWNER: The way you are handling this is very unprofessional of you. But that sounds about right for you guys. Again we weren’t allowed to talk to each other or even eat, when you work open to close 😂 they even made me make, and serve someone a coffee. When I didn’t even know how to use the equipment. Then refused to train me, and yelled at me when I asked to be trained. No I will not be taking down my review. Especially because you asked me to. That right there, just goes to show that y’all have a lot to hide. I was threatened to be fired before, because my family wanted to come in and check it out, and paint once. Please kindly do better. Especially when y’all are supposed to be “Christian owned” y’all should be nicer to the people who choose to work that job for you.

We have been going to PG&F for Christmas time for years, have done a number of birthdays there as well. We have also done some of the summer camps and single day events. Which is just to say... There are lots of things you can do here.Painting, by itself, is more than worth the fee. Relaxing and enjoyable, without getting anything out of it. Then your get to keep the stuff you painted, and no matter what your skill level, having something that you created feels good. The staff is super nice and helpful, never had a bad experience. Do yourself a favor and stop by sometime, you dont be sorry.

We went here for the first time for the story time/painting class they have every other Friday. My daughter is 3 and it was a fun and affordable activity for us to do! She loved it and I loved that they have the coffee bar/smoothies - coffee was tasty! Staff was friendly also. We will definitely be back!

The ladies here were amazing! I brought my 4 kids here to make sculptures using clay. Paint Glaze & Fire not only provided the materials, but also have us instruction. They went above and beyond to help us learn techniques that I as a homeschooling mom did not know. The price was reasonable & we had so much fun!! We cant recommend them enough!

Great for children and families to artistically express themselves. It can be a bit pricey for some of the ceramics, great bonding time. Although you can walk in I strongly suggest reserving a table. It can get pretty busy fast and you will have to wait on a table to become available, which could take a few hours.

We’ve always had a great time at Paint, Glaze, and Fire, but we won’t be going back until at least after the pandemic is over. My son and I were there in the middle of painting with 3 other tables of 2 all wearing masks when a party of 10 walked in with only 1/2 wearing masks and none of them over their nose. I asked one of the staff about our options since we had already started ours and they weren’t enforcing the mask mandate that they have posted and basically we were given the option of Sunday morning or Wednesday and not one of the staff asked the large party to wear their masks appropriately. This large party walked around to decide on pottery and then stood next to our table deciding on paint with either no masks or masks on their chin (gross!). Not only are they putting other customers at risk, but also their staff. It was handled very poorly.

Super fun! You choose a piece to paint and they glaze it for you. They say the average is $12, but that is for very small items. Mugs are $12-$18 and plates were $22+. We spent about 2 1/2 hours there and it takes a couple of weeks to get it back. Recommend it for a fun dayr or family day!

We showed up for our double date that we called and made a reservation over 2 weeks ago and was immediately turned away. The place was COMPLETELY empty and the person behind the counter just kept repeating that they didn’t have anyone on their reservations and that they were closing early. We arrived at 6 pm and they even stated that they close at 8 pm. We told them we drove over 45 minutes to be here and that we were really excited about it. Both employees were very dismissive and rude. Will definitely look for a more friendly and reasonable business.

My sister & mom came in for a girls day, and we chose to try PG&F out. What a gem of a ceramic studio! We had a great time! Even though they were busy and working a birthday party as well, their young staff members were very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a couple of delicious smoothies while we finished our pieces. This is definitely a place we will revisit and I also look forward to taking my kids to make their own pieces! Thanks for a fun experience!

I’ve been to several pottery places from Kansas to colorado where I grew up and I love doing it. this place really threw me off when it came to doing it for fun as a young adult. I asked basic questions but one question I asked was about having a sponge to wet my pieces but they didn’t like the idea of that because the paint was “thin enough” So I decide to not wet My piece only to find out the paints were normal glazed paint and not watered down or thinned and I struggled because wetting it down helps the paint settle and it glides over smoothly, the girl did get a sponge for me when I asked but she said it was only used for special designs and hardly got it wet so I went back to wet it. They also Told me you absolutely have to do three coats, three coats to me is the darkest pigment you can get with it the more coats the darker it will turn out. I know every place is different I just wanna know I’m not getting ripped off or not able to do the work to my best ability because I go in there hoping to learn new things and try them out. also I did some research on where you order the pottery off of and they are definitely over pricing you with throwing in kennel fee they are making enough money off of the coffee and the work on the shelves that it made me upset that I paid almost $80.00 for 3 pieces of art when I’ve gone to others and done 6 for $100.00 and they weren’t small pieces. Over all there is good I think it’s a very swell place and it’s a great idea with the coffee was amazing and it was there own style. I enjoyed the experience and for it not having a lot of instructions I think it’s good for younger kids who tend to do stuff really quickly and move on to the next thing it’s a very in and out store. It was clean comfortable. They had very generous workers specially if something was broke by accident. I enjoyed my experience and always glad I tried it.

The place was definitely over priced. There were lots of paint options and supplies. The staff was friendly but they are a bit disorganized. While painting, there were two customers that came in and the staff took a while to find their pieces. In addition, I did not receive a call telling me my piece was ready. Instead I had to call them and inquire.

If you take kids here, make sure theyre old enough to be very gentle and navigate a small space with lots of breakable objects around. The cheapest thing to paint is $5 plus the sitting fee. There is nothing unbreakable for a toddler to paint or any area set aside for little kids to explore more freely with paint. For our needs, this was terrible. But if you want a quiet place to drink coffee and paint something pretty for hours, thats the goal of this place.

Small with a nice atmosphere. Very chill. There is a wide variety of premade pottery to paint ranging from your traditional mugs and bowls to dragon statues, Xbox controllers, and pineapple salt and pepper shakers (why not?). They also have tiles with all of the colors post-kiln so you can see what each color will end up looking like before you select it.The glazing and firing is done by the staff and it takes about a week and a half to 2 weeks after you finish to receive your piece. The staff is very helpful and assisted me with babys footprints on a Fathers day mugs (great for Mothers/ Fathers day gift ideas). They also offer drinks and snacks of which I did not partake, but I noticed there are vegan Alternate Baking Co. cookies at this place.

We showed up at 4pm today, having no idea that we should make ‘reservations’. I would bet 3 of the 10 tables were the only ones being used. I was told that due to people coming with reservations, they couldn’t take us today. Wow- okay. But then someone finishing up offered the cashier for us to take their reservation which was until 5:45. Which was 1 hr and 45 mins left. They were told no.We were given a voucher for a free studio fee to come back another time.My husband showed up 20 minutes later because he was supposed to meet us there and didn’t get my message. He sat there for 15 more minutes. He said there was hardly anyone there.Seems to me that they are turning away customers when it’s unnecessary.I’ll go to the local competitor- I’ve never had this issue there and they are much more friendly.

Ceramics and paint supplies provided were good and our kids enjoyed painting a ceramic animal. The main problem we had was in regards to seating. We went for a paint event pre-registered through BVREC and they did not have any reserved seating atleast for kids registered for the event. We had to wait almost 30mins to find seating for the kids and many of the parents had to remain standing for over an hour as they were already busy and full with their regular customer flow. They should plan for an event in a better fashion by reserving seats ahead and putting up a board to let regular customers know about the event to prepare everyone accordingly. If you plan on dropping in, call ahead and make sure they are not too busy so that you can sit with your kids and enjoy the visit. Staff were very friendly and accomodating.

Extremely disappointed in this place. I took 5 kids here for a birthday party, spent over $200 and Unfortunately we had a house fire so I decided to wait to pick up the items. I received ONE call that they were ready never a second call to tell me they had to be picked up or they would be discarded. Sure it is in the small print that is almost illegible when you sign the receipt but I would think they could call at least a second time to remind you to pick them up. Will never return again.

It was expensive. I knew it was going to be bad, but I didnt expect to spend $20 on a figurine I could have bought at Michaels for less than $5. Plus, we didnt get to walk out with our items. We had to wait a week. Its really crowded in the whole store ie its hard to look at items to paint when there are people sitting at tables. Plus, the area the paints are stored is very small - its only comfortable for a max of three people to be looking at colors at once. The Clay Cafe at the Great Plains Mall was 10x better. I wont be going back to Paint Glaze and Fire unless I find a really good coupon.
