BEWARE !!! I needed to sell what was left of Granmas sterling silver flatware. The guy weighs it and offers me $400. I am surprised (it seems low) and I ask what they are paying per ounce. Instead of answering, he says, well, maybe I can do a little better than that. I will put it on the GOOD scale. The good scale and a recalculation achieves an offer of $638. That is a 60% increase- HUGE DIFFERENCE! So, not only did he sketchily avoid telling me what they are paying per ounce, but they have TWO SCALES - One for customers that look easily duped, and a good one that, apparently, is more accurate. SCAM.

I really wish there was a zero star option because that is what I would have selected. Today I took my 18kt gold Rolex in to be appraised to possibly sell. (Hard times due to covid) Previous Metals told me my 75,000 dollar watch was a counterfeit, claiming that the band that is stamped 750 (the stamp for 18kt) was really stainless steel and not gold. They also said the serial numbers didnt match the watch. I left hurt and upset. I stopped by a Reputable jeweler that was able to acid test the metal to confirm what precious metals had told me. It was confirmed indeed the watch was 18kt gold. They also said that Rolex had changed the way they serialized due to counterfeiting. This place was able to mistake gold for steel and frankly does not belong in the business. Please do not do business here you might end up with steel at gold prices this establishment can not be trusted.

The place was pretty cool looking! The service was friendly. But if you are like myself and hunt for raw material in nature then you might need a second look after here if you are not fully confident in what they believe it is. Turns out I have a very large beautiful chunk of blue jasper with thicker gold layers and veins. Very valuable raw piece, pure luck finding it lol. But very nice jewelry selection though!

Got my watch links sized quickly. This Seiko watch band is very hard to adjust but they took their time and got it :) Cheers

I took some coins in that would be considered mint state red and the guy told me that they were only worth a penny he wouldnt look at them is very rude and disrespectful. I wouldnt take any coin there again or anything else

Carlos did a fantastic job completing appraisals on my jewelry. Very reasonable with thorough descriptions and value of items. Even provided a signed copy for insurance. Plus I was able to find a beautifully unique bracelet and other items I couldn’t live without. I would highly recommend them.

I like this place a lot. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and take their time to explain things to me. On my last trip there I sold a few pieces of gold that I had gathered from around my house, a couple of class rings. I couldn’t believe how much I got!

Went in to do some business. Looked at trading and I made an offer. He said if that will get the deal done so I can go sit back down at my desk. I was appalled. I was really looking at doing more business with them. Never going back. Very rude to me and the customer before me. I should have left when I heard them being rude to the lady before me but I wanted to give them a chance. NEVER AGAIN.

I have done business with these folks for about 14 years. I have found them to be very friendly and more importantly fair. Ive done some occasional business with their competitors and always come back to precious metals and jems. For me there is no comparison.

I have used them to give me insurance appraisals, fix a watch of mine and bought silver as an investment. I love going in there and looking at the jewelry. Its a great place to buy too. Why pay retail when you can buy from a locally owned business! They are fair and very helpful!

They took great care of my ring when I needed it repaired, and charged me way less than the other two shops I priced. They also were very prompt in letting me know as soon as it was done, all with very friendly service. I will definitely be bringing my business back here!

I would not recommend this shop to anybody. I walked in with $300+ worth of coins and the guy I talked to didnt weigh anything out like they are supposed to do. He didnt even look up most of the coins that were from 1890 to 1950. The coins were from different countries but very old. I had 30 or more coins with me. And he didnt look at half of them. He offered 20 for everything...

Customer service very poor!

They were very polite and helpful on my visit. I simply mentioned that I needed a replacement screw for one of my watches and they immediately pulled out a bag and started looking through it with me. I wouldnt expect most places to do that.

I dont usually write reviews.. BUT PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! I had a piece that I was looking to get rid of and I KNEW it was was valuable, but not 100% how valuable. I emailed first, then followed up with a call and then a visit into the store. Email was short conversations, but the call was more detailed and informative (so I thought). I went for the visit, and first thing I asked was if the person remembered my call, and they confirmed. I showed them the piece, that we had already discussed in detail, and ALL OF A SUDDEN my piece was a not a good piece.ALL of a sudden there were a million reasons why this piece was not as valuable as I wanted it to be - so the guy kept telling me. After telling me, for two days, he was a fair guy and would offer me a fair offer - he initially offered over $400... when I asked if that was his best offer, he paused, and offered me $250. From there he made it a point to keep telling me just to take the cash and put it toward something else. I explained that I KNEW the gold itself was worth more than that and I am basically giving you the diamonds for free (after being shorted on the value of the gold already). He kept telling me just to take the cash and let the bracelet go... it wasnt valuable. I told him I wanted to get an appraisal and of course he said youll be wasting your money. WHAT??? Anybody in their right mind would know that you need to know the value of your product before you can negotiate - so for him to say an appraisal was a waste, and hes a jeweler, didnt sit well with me. I explained to this guy, Carlos, that I wasnt hard up for money so I wasnt in a rush to just sell my piece - especially not for something so insulting. After I left there I went straight to another private gemologist except this time I only asked for an appraisal. GOT my piece back today, with the completed appraisal, and my instinct was accurate - Carlos was trying his hardest to get this piece for a reason... the appraisal value was close to $10k... I felt like they were trying to befriend me just to gain my trust so the scam was easier for them... that isnt right!

This has to be the weirdest place I have ever been to. I went to sell my gold ring and the offer was a fraction of the gold value. Not to mention, the staff look at you like you are crazy and dont seem to care whether or not you do business there. I am never going back again.

I sold some scrap silver to them, I did my homework on silver prices and scrap values and was able to get from then a considerable amount over their first offer, so they are willing to pay a fair value but its not their first offer.They are friendly and professional enough but I withhold one star beause I believe they should offer a fair price the first time instead instead of only after they learn you know the value
