Regarding the service department, very disappointed in the quality of professionalism compared to other Acura dealerships. My service advisor har no knowledge of why my cat was being serviced even though the maintenance code and appointment details provided the information. The lounge did not feel like the luxury experience that is associated with the Acura brand.

Please don’t ever take your care service there. Their staff are very unprofessional. The service is suck. I am very disappointed on how Acura is a luxury brand but they are treating their customer very rudely. Lesson learn, this will be the last Acura that I will be buying for a quite sometime. Lexus service are way better than all this unprofessional individuals who work there. You went there to bring your concerns to the services manager. He is trying to defend his customer service representative for being unprofessional. All they wanted to do is charging you, beyond that they don’t care about there customer.

We were in KC from out of town and our Acura (that we didn’t buy from Jay Wolfe) would not start. After AAA failed to be able to provide tow service. The staff at Jay Wolfe recommended a company that was there within 90 minutes. Jay Wolfe had my car fixed same day, they were attentive, and went above and beyond. This dealership is top notch!

Have had an extremely poor experience shopping for a vehicle! Noone will return my phone calls, when I did speak with someone and he said he would call me back within the hour it has now been almost 24 hrs with no call... Really wanted to purchase a vehicle from them but they have lost my business due to their poor customer service skills.I had an Acura prior and this is the dealership I had to take it to for the manufacturer recalls to be fixed and I had such a good experience with them that I thought this would be an ideal place to return to and purchase a new Acura since I loved my other one so much.Cant get the salesman to call me back I also left a message on one of the finance guys voice-mail he hasnt called me back either.. I even spoke to another salesman who said he would call me back as well and still has not. Guess they dont wanna sell a vehicle that bad.Also was told yesterday when I finally got someone on the phone that there was someone on a test drive in the vehicle I was waiting to hear back on.Perhaps the salesmen and finance guys should go through some training on professionalism and customer service.

DO NOT GO THERE! Price increase and poor customer service/quality. I took my car for an oil change and the technician did NOT fill all the fluids like promised. My coolant was so low that I had to go buy coolant from the store. They did not check my tire pressure like promised either. Service advisor was unhelpful and unknowledgeable.

Eldon came in, and EARLY, on his day off to deal with us crazy people trying to get into a car my son really wanted, and stayed until the process was done. Reasons on our end, it took a bit, (hours) and a couple of trips in, but, my son drove home happily in his new car. It was a very painless experience. We recommend Jay Wolfe Acura!

Put a deposit on a new MDX that I was told had a two week delivery date (estimated April 30th). We were the third customers in line to receive a particular color. On the 27th we received word that the vehicle had arrived early and were sent pictures of it. Made arrangements to meet later in the week for pickup. Dealer told us to make sure that it was on the 30th or before because it was the last of the month. On the 30th, while on our way to the dealership, an hour away, we found that the vehicle had been sold out from underneath us. The dealer tried to tell me he had made a mistake and the photos that were sent were not of the right vehicle. It was apparent that they did not think that we would be in to complete the deal before the end of the month and they sold our vehicle to another costumer. Upon our arrival to the dealership we were offered a halfhearted apology and given the opportunity to purchase a vehicle from the loaner fleet. Something that we had explored two weeks prior and were told that they couldn’t sell them. I was able to get our deposit check back and left the dealership. We now love our new Sequoia from Tony L. at Molle Toyota.

One of the best dealerships in the greater KC area. The sales team is courteous and knowledgeable. Transparent and had a smooth car buying experience. Always offers service specials and never said no to a loaner request. Waiting area is upscale and snack bar is always full. Service area is clean and attentive staff.

I walked in with knowing the car I wanted and it was at a different Jay Wolf dealer, I was greeted by Manny Shaffie who is a fellow car Enthusiast, told him what I was wanting and that I was on a extreme time frame to get my paper work done because my wife did not know I was buying a car, we went threw the numbers phone calls were made down payment was made and I was in and out with in a hour, I know this was a sales mans dream sale but Manny came threw for me and still stays in contact to make sure every thing is good with the car

I found this 2010 TSX on Acura Of Overland Parks website, over a week ago. Called the number and got Don Smith. Don was extremely helpful and willing to do whatever it took for us. He made the purchasing decision so much easier. He was able to send me all the service records (at my request), he went over and above to send me images of some areas of question. Ultimately we (my wife and I) decided to make the 3 hour trip to view the car. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. We also dealt with Tim Griffith on the financing side. Both Don and Tim were wonderful to deal with. Would not hesitate to drive again to purchase another car in the future. In fact, when do decide to buy again, it is without a doubt where we will look first. The knowledgeable staff and easy going nature of the salesman are what drew us to this dealer. We looked local, and were not pleased with the salesman at a dealer locally. Overall experience I would rate Acura of Overland Park 10/10, and Don a 11/10. This is how car buying should be. From the professionalism, quality of the vehicle, willingness of the staff hands down the best experience weve ever had.

I took the car in for two minor issues. One with rear brakes and the other with the A/C not blowing cold on the passenger side. The brake issue was easily fixed. I was told the A/C was fixed by topping off the refrigerant. However, its not fixed and still blows warm out the passenger vent once the vehicle has been driven more than 10 minutes.

She set our appointment and she was so polite and helpful. When we arrived, we were greeted very quickly by Jess in sales. He was very pleasant and very knowledgeable in every step. THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD SINCE I QUIT BEING A MECHANIC AT A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP.I DROPPED MY CAR OFF ON THE 8TH SCOTT WAS THE SERVICE WRITER. HE CALLS ME BACK ABOUT 28 MINUTES AFTER I DROPPED IT OFF. AND SAID IT NEEDED A VALVE ADJUSTMENT SOME SORT OF ENGINE FLUSH THAT REMOVES CARBON A TIMING BELT WATER PUMP BELT TENSIONER.I RELUCTANTLY TOLD HIM LETS DO IT BECAUSE AFTER ASKING HIM MULTIPLE TIMES WOULD THE $2,300 FIX THE CAR WOULD THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS BE OFF? WOULD IT GET BETTER GAS MILEAGE? AND HE ASSURED ME 4 TIMES IT WOULD. THE FIRST RED FLAG WAS. HE CALLED ME BACK WITHIN 30 SECONDS OF HANGING UP AND SAID IT NEEDED $600 WORTH OF BRAKES WHICH I NEVER ASKED THEM TO LOOK AT.I SAID LETS JUST WORRY ABOUT GETTING IT RUNNING FIRST I DONT WANT TO INVEST MORE THAN ITS WORTH. I miss the Hendrick Acura I once new.I pulled into the service department just like I used to all the time when this dealership was owned by Hendrick. There was nobody there to answer my questions or assist me. I waited until a staff member stared at me as if I wasnt supposed to be there. I asked if they still offered the drive in service, he said that they usually dont on weekends, it depends on what I needed. I wanted a simple oil change, I asked if prices on it had changed. He was unsure and told me to wait in the waiting room. I waited for almost 20 minutes before someone spoke to me, I didnt know prices or if they could fit me in. A gentleman asked if I had been helped, I explained the situation. They were disorganized, the left hand didnt know what the right hand was doing. The prices for a oil and filter change went up too, and the wait time was an hour or two. Additionally, on Saturdays they dont offer the shuttle service either. The staff was busy, they werent very welcoming and could use some customer service coaching. The techs they had on staff were limited too apparently. Hendrick used to do a free vehicle inspection and wash my car after every oil change at a lower price with better customer service and extremely fast turn around times. They used to shuttle me home until my car was ready to be picked up too!!!What on earth happened to this dealership. Ive owned 3 Acuras and Ive always come here. This was my first experience with Jay Wolfe, and it will be the last. I understand that it is likely difficult to meet the high standards Hendrick set, but there are some basic things you guys should be doing so you dont lose the entire Hendrick client database like you have with me. When I pulled in, someone should have been there ready to help and possibly even ask if I was a previous Hendrick customer, if so then explain some of the things that have changed. How am I supposed to know they dont take walk ins? I surely never saw any emails welcoming me to the new Jay Wolfe Acura in town and covering some of the new changes so I could be informed for my next visit. And taking away many of the services that made me a loyal customer and hiking prices? What on earth are you guys thinking. If you want previous Hendrick client retention you seriously need to revamp your client experience here.Go find a Hendrick dealership, they will treat you like royalty at a better price point. You could just tell that the people here dont genuinely care like the old staff used to.Also. Pro tip, if you go to any Honda dealership in town the prices are usually half priced and you still get OEM parts and experienced mechanics.I am a business consultant, any legitimate business knows that you should respond to your client reviews. If you read previous reviews, youll notice Jaw Wolfe doesnt care enough to respond to them. The older reviews that do have responses were before Jay Wolfe took over. Notice the last reply to a review was signed by Hendrick. Also notice most of the reviews complain about horrendous wait times or being cheated on/no gas in purchased cars, low fluids, they just cut corners where they can. It shows. Go read the reviews yourself. Hopefully these get to the right person who will actually DO something about it.

Much improved service from the first time I came in for an oil change after you acquired the business. Id love Hendricks service guys, but my first experience under your brand sucked. This service rep was great.Id still encourage you to update your website appointment tool. I went to make an appointment and was excited to see lots of available options. Then I saw the text saying a service person would need to call you to let you know if the appointment REALLY was made. Thats not going to fly! So I just showed up.

Bait and Switch is what I felt happened to me recently at Jay Wolfe Acura of Overland Park The salesman quoted me a price for the vehicle I was purchasing, knowing I was going to use my own bank financing. When I went to sign the papers, the ‘finance manager” would not honor the price and said if I did not use Acura financing, which was about twice the bank rate, I would have to pay an additional $2,500 for the car. It felt like a scam. The salesman did apologize for which I appreciated, however, from the salesman reaction, it seemed to me that this was not the first time this has happened, although I could be wrong about that. I walked out.

My experience at Jay Wolfe in OP was nothing less than professional. I purchased a used car and was treated respectfully and didnt experience any high pressure sales attitudes. The car was ready before I was, they were flexible on pricing, and eager to go the extra mile to get me financed at a good rate. The facility is first class and my wait was very comfortable, with quality snacks and drinks. They did a great job working to earn my business. Manny and Joshua were great to work with.

I purchased a 2016 Subaru through Jay Wolfe. The price was fair so I did not haggle and the Sales rep was great to work with along with the finance partner. I live in MO and informed them I would need my title within 30 days. I was also told I could use the Jay Wolfe closer to my home for the warranty. The title was over 30 days and the lady in the title Dept does not answer her phone or return calls. I’d have to leave a message for her and then call my sales rep and Finance Dept to get updates. Since it was late I had to pay a late fee to Mo when registering. My car needed to be looked at and upon taking it to the Jay Wolfe up North, they told me after dropping it off for a day, they do not work on Subaru’s and to take it to a Subaru dealer close to me and they’d cover the cost. I informed my sales rep who then had his shop person call and asked me to bring it to them. I’d already informed them they aren’t close and it’s not convenient so back to square one. If you live close and in Kansas, I’d recommend.

We really liked Melissa, our sales representative. She answered all our questions and was very conscientious and helpful throughout the process. She even spotted something she didnt like from the detailing process and took the car back to the detail shop for a final cleanup while we were doing our paperwork.Trinidad did our paperwork and he, too, was great to deal with. They have a paperless system with a large touch-pad and stylus on the desktop for all the signing and initialing you have to do (which is a LOT - even for a cash, no trade-in deal like ours). Im sure the system would freak out non-technical buyers, but Im an I.T. guy and I loved it. I got my copies of all the paperwork on a complimentary 64G thumb drive... Good thing... otherwise Id have needed a 2-wheeler to get all the physical paper out to the car at the end of the process. :)This is a high volume dealership chain (which is why the prices are so good) - but theyve obviously had all kinds of crazies (or maybe just semi-crazies) make legal trouble for them in the past. As a result, they have instituted every lawyer-ly means they can think of to protect themselves. No doing business on a handshake and Ill write you a check here. I guess you dont sign or initial the toilet paper, but you do have to put your John Hancock on almost everything else! Im from a small town and I found this part of the process off-putting. Others might feel differently.The dealership has a no negotiation policy on price, which I actually loved. According to all the online research I did on the car and on other, similar vehicles in the area, we got a great deal on a good, solid Buick Enclave.The most negative, stereotypical car dealer kind of thing (and really the only one) I encountered was the so-called Dealer Documentary Fee or Administrative Service Fee depending on what paperwork youre looking at. I think this is nothing more than a hidden extra $700 in profit for the dealership... and one of the employees, apologetically, admitted as much to us in person. It makes their advertised price look less and I think its a misleading and unprofessional way to do business. What I think makes it misleading or unprofessional is how well hidden the fees amount is on ANY online documentation prior to purchase. Its there, but I challenge you to go find it on their web site. You wont find the amount in any AutoTrader information that I saw... which is precisely the point. Had this fee been disclosed more prominently prior to the start of my in-person visit to the dealership, you could probably remove either misleading or unprofessional from my opinion of the practice... take your pick on which one. :) I want to re-emphasize, its the practice - which comes from corporate - that I take issue with... not the people at this particular dealership. They were great. But Id love to check belt and shoe color at the next Hendrick corporate Board of Directors meeting. :)After venting a little about the well tucked away fee (I wont say hidden) - I will say that on balance, given expectations, I would do business with these folks again. My experience wasnt perfect, but the things that made it imperfect werent things under the local teams control. The local team, top to bottom, treated us well and gave us a fair deal.

Great experience, had my wrecked car towed there, I knew it looked bleak. John B worked very hard, too hard. He asked me how much I wanted to spend. I told him, and he got really close, I was very impress considering one of the many things the car needed was a new engine. Despite his efforts I decided the best option was to change vehicles. I was handed off to David B to get a different vehicle. I made it clear up front that I didnt have much to spend. He also worked hard to set me up with what I wanted in a used vehicle. I really like it. He treated me as his highest priority customer.Thanks So Much Gentlemen

Went in to see a specific pre owned vehicle. Pre approval and financing already set up. Four hours later, sat down to sign paperwork! Not willing to repair undisclosed damage found. Sales person fell short, came across unappreciative. Walked out around 8 pm to also find car needed gas! Very disappointed in whole experience.

The staff here is wonderful. I would love to give 5 stars. They charged us a $120 fee to access the front end repair, which consisted of a drive around the parking lot where the technician said, yes, I think your right. Of course they had to actually look at it, but it wasnt a $120 look, I can tell you that. And it would be different if they deducted that amount from the cost of your repair, but they dont. The quote for the repair was astronomical. I mean, I was floored. Called around to several places and all were 1/2 the price. Yes, I know all about the genuine Acura parts, but seriously. Still love my Acura, but I just cannot afford Acura repairs.

We had an overall very positive experience at Jay Wolfe Acura. It is true an Acura does a tremendous job of selling itself. And auto consumers need to do a lot of homework regarding various models, options and pricing. The sales people at Jay Wolfe did not make us feel pressured, they were helpful regarding pricing, and the costs and pricing were all made clear. We would and very likely will go back for our next car.

I had a scheduled appointment for Saturday at 7 AM right at opening. Making the appointment by phone was easy and they were able to pull up all my information and prepaid maintenance. They had the gates opened 5 minutes til opening and I was greeted promptly. Lara Varkas was my adviser and was very courteous. She confirmed the services that I had scheduled and showed us to the waiting room. In the time promised, she came back and explained the few items they had found on the inspection. Some of them due by time and mileage and others they did not have history on but wanted to confirm. All the prices of services and reasons why were all explained and in a clear manner. I approved one of the two items and she gave me an updated time and asked if I wanted the complimentary car wash. All services were completed within the time she told me and done to my satisfaction. Overall my wife and I were very happy with our experience at this dealership and their personal. We will be back soon.

I always have a good experience when I have to take my vehicle in for service. The staff is nice, the accommodations (drinks, snacks, waiting area) are welcoming, and Ill receive updates on my vehicle. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because Ive had to wait a considerable amount of time (2-4 hrs) in order for my vehicle to be done each time I have brought it in. Im not sure if that is normal or not for a service appointment.

!!!PLEASE READ!!! DOES NOT HONOR WARRANTY! MANIPULATIVE! LIES!My car was excessively burning oil (1.5-1.8 quarts/1000miles). After almost 1 year, 15-20 maintenance trips to the dealer, Jay Wolfe Acura finally conceded to trading me my malfunctioning Acura for a replacement. Though the car was under the dealer provided warranty and an extended warranty, the dealer would not continue to invest in the repair of the car. The only reason any repairs were done on the Acura was due to Honda corporate stepping up and paying for the +/-$20,000 of maintenance that was recommended by the Jay Wolfe technicians (I paid $8,991 at the original purchase). It was only later that I found out that the technicians recommended ~$20,000 worth of in-depth engine work before checking the ~$12.00 part that should have been the 1st thing checked and replaced. Since Honda corporate paid ALL the maintenance before the $12.00 part, Jay Wolfe was paid by Honda to preform a multitude of work on the car (earning them money and costing me money). Each time Jay Wolfe was paid for this work while I was adding mileage, fuel and oil at times to the car (required by the dealer) for their required oil consumption testing.Finally, Jay Wolfe told me they would no longer invest any more time or money into this car (although the issue was under warranty and NEVER fixed and still out of operational specification). In their attempt to resolve the issue, Jay Wolfe offered me $462 over the standard trade-in. If it were not for my persistence and resolve, I would have lost at least ~50% of my investment.Several times I was reassured of the knowledge base and professionalism of the technicians regardless of the fact that the car was returned to me with loose bolts and the oil level was over-filled (at least once) by +/-2 quarts (when ~4.5 quarts is required).It is beyond disturbing that my car was grossly overfilled, at least once, during oil consumption monitoring. I am unsure if it was intentional, but I cannot help but wonder why the oil was drastically over full. My suspicions can only wonder if maybe the technicians were ignorant and did not check the oil level after incorrectly guessing how much oil was added or they intentionally compensated to mask the oil consumption issue.I would not trust anything this dealer told me! And I would not trust the technicians to check my tire air pressure!As a retired US Marine, trust and honor is everything. I will NEVER return to Jay Wolfe for another purchase or service ever again.If you buy a car from Jay Wolfe, I wish you luck!!!

My wife and I and my family we all have drove Acura for many of years. I myself have drove Acura since I was in high school. My first car was the Acura vigor, then I drove the legends through college and recommended it up until this point to all my friends and family. We purchased a 2015 Acura MDX which we recently got a recall for the paint and the primer being faulty And we had numerous spots on the bumper and top of the car. Acura took our car in the body shop had it for over three weeks we got it back all they painted was the top hood in the back latch Not the bumper. Two months later We noticed an extensive amount of paint peeling from the front hood when returning back to Acura they said that was not their Responsibility.What I’m trying to understand is if they painted a car and had a recall on the paint why would the entire car not Painted. I’ve read other reviews on this white paint and others had the same problem I can’t believe Acura cannot make this right. Since this experience I’m not sure if I will be driving an Acura in the future and I’ll be sure to let Everyone know That I referred to them,how this was handled

Bought used Jeep from Jay and the next day the check enigne light came on. and basically every other day. (Jeep has a function that if two trips no errors it turns off the check engine light. Made appointment to have it checked. Service saw in the history codes P0301, P0303, P0305 all misfires on the three cylinders. Service tech remember changing plugs to resolve problem.before we bought it. Because the light was not on they could do nothing more. Now I have to wait for the check engine light to come on and not turn off Jeep and go straight to service for them to diagnoise.

Everything was fine as always, except this time, the car wash. This is the first time in over twenty years of Acura service my experience was less than a five out of five.The towels used to wipe down the car were dirty and as a result, left dirty streaks on the windshield and over most of the car. It would have looked better if it were not wiped down and showed the water spots. I realize the wash is a complimentary service however if you are going to provide the service, do it well.Update 11/25/19: contacted and issue remedied. Thank you.

They fixed my car, but they also tried to sell me a headlight washing service for $79.95, new wiper blades (even though mine are new!) for $80, some sort of weird fuel flush for $199.99, and new brake rotors for $684.32 even though the brakes have plenty of life remaining. Also the service writer was very nice but he didnt have much technical knowledge. I asked him what the warranty was on the $511.14 part I just bought from Jay Wolfe Acura and he said, It might be 1 year, 2 years, or 5 or even 10 years. It depends on the part. Oh, and they charged me a $34.99 diagnostic fee, which is typically waived by most dealerships when you actually get a service done. So that was unexpected. Also, the bill has a miscellaneous charge (seriously! it says Misc Charges) for $9.95. I guess I bought the service writer lunch as well.

I’m only giving 2 stars because of the experience buying the car was the only positive experience. When it comes to servicing you in any way outside of trying to close a deal, Jay Wolfe didn’t care to even try and fix things for me. Be wary of a “we owe” when buying a pre owned vehicle here. I was supposed to receive my “we owe” items within a couple weeks. Well it’s been over 2 months and I still haven’t received the correct items nor has the GM even managed to return my calls. I guess once you buy the vehicle, who cares if you’re satisfied right ? They already received the commission check so that’s the least of their worries. I was going to do my servicing on all my vehicles here but due to the experience, I’ll be going elsewhere...literally anywhere. Just showed up to pick up the items and they are closed 10 minutes before their actual close time, sorry I can’t make it here earlier, I have a job. Absolutely ridiculous.

I found my vehicle using a car buying service through my bank. I was a little hesitant and weary, as this was only the second time I have every purchased a car (kept my last one 11 years), and I had not stepped foot in a showroom in 11 years. Plus, I live about 200 miles away and could not get there until the weekend. I had no idea what to expect. The sales rep, Nick, got in touch with me immediately and answered all of my questions over the phone. He stayed in contact over the next five days, answering my emails and returning my phone calls immediately.My experience when I arrived was just as pleasant. Nick spent a good deal of time with me, showing me how to use the cars navigation and media system, taking a test drive, and being genuinely pleasant and engaged. The people at Hendrick are what make the dealership so great. From the Customer Service lady at the front door (sorry, I forgot her name) to the closing financial manager they are courteous, friendly, helpful, professional and low-pressure. My brother and I wanted to work a three way deal with them and our Client Advisor, Max Donahue, was able to put the deal through successfully. The entire process went very smoothly even though I am an out-of-state buyer. Hendrick is very up front on letting you know all of the details about the vehicle that you are buying and makes that information easily available online. In fact, most of the buying process can be completed online which makes the trip to the dealership fast and smooth.
