Paul at this location is wonderful I recommend him and the team itself is amazing. My dad who owned a dealership passed away suddenly from a tragic incident and I was left with no car in my name and needed help. Paul and his team worked together to help me. They did what it took to get me financed and to me I don’t know what could make a better business than that. Another great experience at Bergstrom today. I bought a car from Bergstrom back in 2017, and I came back this week to buy another car from them because of the positive experience I had last time. I feel that I was treated with respect and honesty...I was never pressured about anything. Everyone was friendly and professional, and I felt listened to by the sales team. They truly tried to find the used car/features/mileage that I was looking for, and they matched me up with several options that met my criteria. There is a good customer service culture there. I will definitely go back again in the future.

I have had nothing but issues from Bergstrom. I have had several coolant issues, had all of them fixed here and it continues to leak every single time. Their answer for me: “well they are notorious for having coolant issues.” I had to replace my engine due to these issues. I come in today to pick it up, due to cracked hoses?? They state they did a full inspection, but I drive a quarter mile down the road and the Low engine fuel notifications comes on the dash. Hmm, funny because the paperwork says you checked it. The technician tells me when I come back that they said it was really tight so they didn’t want to break it. I find it quite concerning that they continue to check off boxes, say things are fixed, but then push old age and mileage as the primary factors. When instead it should be incompetence. Bergstrom is the perfect place if you want to be lied to, and have empty pockets.

Made an appointment for 3pm. Got there a few minutes early and was asked to wait. No problem. An hour and a half later I finally asked what was going on and was told they just finished. What is the point of making an appointment if you are actually operating first come first serve?! No updates along the way as well with several employees looking bored. Came in with tire pressure light on and no one mentioned it to me and marked that part of the service sheet off tnag everything is fine. Hmmm...

2 consecutive visits and its been a big problem. This time I was told Ill have to wait 2 hrs for an oil change and its going on 2 1/2 with my car nowhere in sight. Top it off one of their mechanics stripped my drain plug. They made no effort to keep me updated and have offered no apology. This will be my last visit.

If you want to go in and agree to everything they want, sure you’ll walk out with a car. They seem to have no interest in “winning” the customer over as a sales person should do. Couldn’t tell me much about the car, couldn’t tell me how the remote start worked. Salesman didn’t even try to carry a conversation with me. I’ve had nothing but the worst experience at more than one Bergstrom location. Even banned from one due to leaving a bad review on an oil change/tire rotation that took 3 days.

Bergstrom has caused alot of issues for me with my vehicle. Last month they serviced my Chevy 2500hd duramax. Upon recieving it back the check engine light soon came on. As it was a Saturday and observed holiday on Monday, DEF system code pulled from OBD from personnel code reader.This had already been in Dealership for a DEF sensor and module replacement in Paris Texas. Chalked it up for bad module and or sensor.Had to be back in Texas,Paris Chevrolet takes it in for diagnostic and finds (GAS) in with the DEF tank...If there was a zero I would select it...they have not been responsive or admit to causing this.Im just getting to Oshkosh and people off the community resonate what Ive found out very quickly. They take your money, as in overpriced, and the quality is not there. They donate to causes and are convenient being in town so my opinion is they are tolerated.There is a reason my truck wasnt purchased from their dealership. A lifelong customer will be lost due to their approach and business practices.

I received an alignment in June from getting tie rods fixed. Was sent on my way afterwards saying everything was good to go. After a couple of days Ive noticed my alignment is off, I called back to news that they failed to mention face to face and on my report. My arm control is broken and they cannot do anything about fixing my car after paying to get the full inspection done on top of an alignment. Asked to speak with a manager with no call back.

On 3/13 I took my truck in for an oil change and a tire rotation. I thought all went well until about 2 weeks ago when I had my front tires turned and noticed the inside of the tires were bald. The back tired were showing some wear so I figured its out of alignment. But my concern is that there was no mention of the excessive wear on my tires. Then I started thinking if they didnt didnt say anything about my tires what else did they not do or didnt tell if something else may have been wrong. I have always trusted Bergstroms with my vehicles but not so sure anymore. 👎😔

Really frustrating experience with Allan in service. I needed a simple alignment for my vehicle. Called and was told alignment would take no longer than 90 minutes. After explaining I needed the vehicle by noon and being assured a 10 am appointment time they would be able to have it done by about noon, I opted to have the earlier 7:50 am appointment just to be sure.While there in the morning, Allan asked me if there was anything else to be checked out which I mentioned there was a service suspension system warning. He then told me they would run diagnostics and contact me with what needed to be fixed.11:30 am - still did not receive any word about the car being done or what diagnostics came up with. Called and was told Allan went to lunch but would be back within a half hour and would call me then.1:50 pm - still no call back. Called again at the front and was put on hold to try and connect to Allan. Did not have time to wait on hold so I figured at least he would try and call back and leave a message or something.2:30 pm - Finally called back and connected with Allan who told me diagnostics have been ran but the alignment had not yet been done. Pretty frustrated at this point I told Allan that I had to have the car back by noon because I had other appointments to get to and needed my car. He blamed the front desk girls by saying that 90 minutes is incorrect, and instead said it takes 60 minutes for the diagnostics and 60 minutes for alignment. Mind you at this point it is going on 7 hours from my 7:50 am appointment. After explaining I just wanted the alignment to be finished asap he said no problem and said he would send me the bill that I could pay online and then they would drop the car off. I told him I get done with work at 5:30 pm and he said no problem and that they would leave the keys in the car and text me when they had dropped off the vehicle.5:45 pm- 10 hours at this point! Still no text about the car, no bill sent, nothing. Called back and was told Allan had left for the day! Now I am stuck without a car after work with no way to get home. I talked then to a Kevin who had to go and find my bill sitting on Allans desk (his words) and he processed my payment and delivered the car with a sorry about that (at least for the first time there was some sort of apology which I appreciated from Kevin.)

They were friendly there and the customer service was fine, but do they ever screw you over on labor. Only reason I went is because they were the only ones open. They worked on my truck for maybe 2 hours (front brakes and a new hub) and charged me over $450 just for labor. Dont waste your time or money and take your vehicle to someone who wont screw you over on price.

Buying experience here is good but the service center leaves something to be desired. After having 2 oil changes done here and having an inspection that said everything was good(cabin filter had not been marked as checked) my truck started to smell when the heat was on. Found my cabin air filter and it was plugged full of dead lake flies. not sure how any air at all got through but I am sure that it had not been checked which makes me wonder what else hadnt been checked... and they broke the cover for my engine air cleaner I will just have it replaced somewhere else.

Canceled the deal requested refund could only get refund after personally returning to dealership and only after providing receipt and drivers license some 20-30 minutes did I receive paper check. Randy in service is BEST MECHANIC EVER!!!We were in town for the airshow and our car lost power steering. We strong-armed the steering wheel to get to the dealership - right at closing time on Friday evening. Randy came out with a positive attitude, quickly determined the problem - and fixed it on the spot!We really appreciate Randy - helpful, knowledgeable, and polite. Friendly staff, feel like they come off having great service. But I was lied to and I dont take that lightly. There has been several times I utilized their shuttle service which I appreciate to have when my vehicle has been serviced during an appointment made days before; however the last two times I made a morning appointment, I had to call after 3pm to ask where my vehicle was come to find that when I got there, it still wasnt finished when I was told on the phone it was. Last time I was in, it was for a recall on my truck. I decided to let them do the oil change to save some time as I have been starting to do the oil changes on my vehicles myself. The guy called me shortly later to inform me my passenger side headlight was out. I unaware, asked how much. He gave me a price and informed me they had to remove the lower bumper to get to it. He also stated the air filter needed to be changed and told me the price for that. After some discussion, I asked if they have those upgraded light bulbs wanting to have an upgraded bulb from what was previously in the vehicle and he stated no to having those bulbs. So I declined having the headlights done but told him to go ahead with the air filter. After calling past 3pm and getting there, paying for my service and then having to wait additional time for them to finish it up after being told it was done, I had left for the day. I later on purchased the light bulbs I wanted to upgrade to for my vehicles and went to go install them. Fully prepared to have to figure out how to remove the bumper to get to them, I started the project. Come to find out, you dont need to remove the bumper at all but instead remove the air filter box and then you could access the burnt out bulb. Re-cap, they had removed the air filter and replaced it. They also over torqued the screws and stripped them badly. The bolts that had been removed to change the air filter are the same ones, no additional to completely remove it to access the headlight. I additionally swapped out the other side which you could do without removing anything except the headlight cap. I am frustrated because they seem to be genuine people but then throw bogus prices out for labor that wasnt even needed to do what they said needed to be done in order to achieve higher cost and charge the customer more. Ive had family that has run into similar issues at the mini-cooper dealership and Nissan dealership in Appleton. I feel Bergstrom had gotten to big and they do not care about the customer. I have purchased two vehicles from them, had great care when buying but then when it comes to service, regardless if its Neenah or Oshkosh, it hasnt been the best of service. I am writing this to inform future customers to be careful when agreeing to have things done to your vehicle. Check around for pricing and do the more simpler things on your own in order to prevent ridiculous price gouging.

The receiving attendant could not find my previous record with Buick. I recently moved to the area and chose his location for service. When I was dismissed to the waiting room, I had to ask where to go. I was then given the tour. When my service was completed, I was escorted to the cashier, after payment was told my car was ready. I waited a few seconds, looked around, did not see my car in the immediate area, then asked where it was. The cashier pointed to my car outside. Upon arrival, the driver window was down, the cabin was freezing cold and the car was not washed. I have a 3 year lease on a 2016 Enclave. As I said, I just recently moved to the area. Bergstrom Oshkosh just taught me a valuable money saving lesson. Dont do business with them in the future. If you are from out of town, you are not welcome. PS... I looked around the show room, said hello to a couple salespeople, no one acknowledged me... hello! I am a current customer... hello again... I am getting service because I am a current customer. Bergstrom Oshkosh. ... Shame on you!

Worst service department I have had. The retracting running board on my 2015 Yukon XL stopped working on the passage side. This dealership had the vehicle on Sept. 3th, 2019 and quoted me $1,290.00, plus tax, to replace motor and hinges. Today I had a second opinion at a different auto service center and they cleaned and lubed the hinges for $98.00 and the running is working perfect. They also told me the front brake pads only had 5mm left. The service center that fixed it today stated front pads still had half left, another 30,000 miles. This not first time I have had incompetent work at this dealership. It will be the last time. Once they mounted and balanced directional tires for a car of mine and put the tires on backwards!

If I have any advice for people looking for a job in Automotive dont I repeat dont go to Bergstrom Automotive!! Service nor job looking, I worked there thinking it was going to be great but working there was a nightmare! At first it was okay meh but then my nightmare came true. They let there employees say RACIAL SLURS and profile other races! They targeted Hispanics and Blacks. As Im Hispanic it was very uncomfortable to work there and what made things worse was that the managers let the slurs and profiling happen like it was a good thing. Ive never ever worked somewhere where they do that. I even went to the COO and what they do, they just move me instead of fixing it there and let me keep working, nope. Im never working at Bergstrom nor buying for a car nor bringing my car into a company that lets this happen. Further more they dont do OVERTIME! You go over your 40 hours and they yell at you. If you keep going over week after week you get your hours cut so you dont make overtime. Isnt that just pathetic? How are employees suppose to make money if you dont make overtime then they dont pay you well then your paychecks SUFFER! Like I said before dont WORK HERE! Nor service your car here! If they let racism take place in the workplace and let them make fun of disable people and profile Hispanics and Blacks, what do you think is going to happen to your vehicle! Boycott this place. Wisconsin people need to know that these people the company dont care about there employees!

My wife had troubles with her key stuck in the ignition. Called Jay at bergstrom who promptly sent out roadside assistance to help me out. Trevor was there in like 5 min and got it unstuck. Followed him to dealership ran a few tests, got battery replaced and boom! Back on the road. Awesome job guys. Best service ive ever had from any dealership! Keep it up!

I enjoy leaving 5 star ratings, however in less than 24 hours I was told that I should be covered under warranty for issues, then told power steering is the only thing covered. Its stressful enough having issues with my vehicle and then to get a runaround of chaos thrown into the equation just makes it worse. Two different answers, no good results, and at a loss for positivity in a company.

I have purchased my last 3 vehicles through Bergstrom dealers. When I arrived in the Fox Valley 9 years ago, my perception was that Bergstrom was a model of professionalism and efficiency. Things have changed.My purchase experiences were average, however service has been poor. Two instances stick out: on one occasion I brought my truck in for an oil change. As usual there was yet another recall on my truck. When service was finished I asked if they had checked on the recall issues and I was told no, that I needed a separate appointment to have that done. It is troublesome to think that checking for recalls is not standard operating procedure and even worse that they wouldnt do the check even after I asked. There could have been a major safety issue with my vehicle but apparently that isnt a priority to the people working there.The other instance was today. I made an appointment to have my truck serviced last week. Confirmation email was received and I was all set to go. Dropped it off this morning before business hours, as instructed. Came back this afternoon and nobody knew anything about my truck or appointment. My truck had been moved from where I parked it that morning so clearly somebody knew about it but didnt take the time to figure out why I left my truck and my keys there this morning. Long story short, they finally found my truck but hadnt bothered to service it!!!!I have also been treated unprofessionally by one of the service reps and also brought my truck in for repairs and been told nothing was wrong, only to find out later a simple fuse was the issue (should have figured it out myself I guess!).Bergstroms business model now seems to rely on monopoly instead of good prices and excellent service. I simply cannot do business with Bergstrom any longer and I cannot in good conscience recommend them to anyone else.

6/13/2014 My daughter made an appointment for accident assessment damage. She waited the required week for an appointment, and then brought the vehicle in. She had hit a tail gate which flew off a truck on HWY 41 which then smashed her rim and made her tire go flat. She did not know what else might have gotten damaged because of the hit.Andrew stood near the car and said that the rim was bad and the tire was flat. He didnt even look underneath the car. And that was that.What if something else like the control arm would have been just hanging there with a prayer....Andrew would not have know that....nor would my daughter. The car would be a risk on the road.Bergstrom is not a care repair establishment. It is ONLY a car sales place. You purchase a car and give them your money and that is that. Anything else....dont bother with them because there isnt any kind of real servicing. The servicing is a charade and a total joke. (One star is too many. It should be NO STARS. )

All the staff were amazing and very nice. We worked specifically with Cody. We went to the Appleton Chevy bergstrom and they didnt have the traverse we wanted to look at. But there was one down in oshkosh. Since it was already late they called ahead and cody had the traverse inside and ready for us to see when we got down there. He was very knowledgable and friendly to work with. We bought the traverse. Cody and the lady doing our financing stayed 2 hours past their closing time to help complete the sale. Si center it was late Cody offered to come to my work to go over things that we didnt get a chance to that night. Wonderful experience and I will recommend Bergstrom and their service going forward.

The ignition lock broke on our 20-year-old GMC Pickup, fortunately while the truck was actually running. We would have preferred to have it fixed the same day, but 24-hours turn-around didnt put us too much behind schedule in moving my father from Oshkosh to Montana. The work itself was excellent quality and the truck was clean when it was returned to us. Were from Wyoming, but if we were in the area and needed work done again, we would come back to Bergstroms. Their auto service is excellent!

My STS Cadillac was recently brought in to Bergstoms of Oshkosh for new Michelin tires. The quote was lower in price than the tire store that I normally frequent by a considerable amount. The price included alignment, balancing, and Bergstroms famous complimentary car wash. The tires run very smoothly and Im very satisfied. More importantly, I know that if I had a concern or problem, the Bergstrom Service Team would make it right.

As a first-time car buyer I was hesitant in all aspects in the car-buying process but PAUL HENNELL made my first-time buying a car an EXCELLENT experience! He was very professional but still down-to-earth. He answered all of my questions quickly and direct. PAUL HENNELL IS THE EPITOME OF CUSTOMER SERVICE and if you are thinking about buying a car from this Bergstrom location I would highly recommended Paul. Since I did not have car insurance walking into the dealership Paul even let me use his own computer to allow me search for the lowest rate, use his printer, and put me in contact with an insurance agent who provided me with information on the amount of coverage I would need despite the fact that I did not even buy coverage from that agent. Overall, Paul made my first experience of buying a car a rewarding experience and post-purchase I am more than happy with my decision to buy from Bergstrom. On financing: Steve Sauer was extremely helpful and knowledgable. He explained all contracts and documents in laymans terms while maintaining a professional tone. Steve explained every signature and financial figure in the documents/contracts and answered any additional questions thoroughly. It was clear that Steve was very busy that day but he did not rush the process and made me feel like I was his number one priority with my best interests in mind that day. So cheers to Paul and Steve and their great customer service!
