First time here since they opened the new store. Just went to get our booster shots at the pharmacy. It was great to see all the employees wearing masks. We felt pretty safe and were in and done in about 10mins. The store looks good.

One of Publix newest grocery stores in our area. I love the deli layout. Lots of wonderful items including spinach and tomato quiche, one of my favorites. Love the choices in produce. I recently found out that I could make my own small bag of grapes instead of buying the large one displayed. All I needed to do was ask but I never had until now. If you want more choices but in smaller quantities, check with the produce people.Check out the other aisles to see more wonderful choices available in a new store.

This was my first shopping at this public since it had been redone. I was impressed with how easy it was to find what I needed. The cashier was extremely helpful and nice. I was in and out within 20 minutes. This Publix is very close to my home and I will probably shop there more often.

Ultra modern design packed inside this conservative store. Everything you need including a sushi 🍣 chef on site. Ordered ahead online and it still took over 30 minutes to get a sub made that looked more like Jimmy Johns than a PubSub. Very little meat for a $9 sub, will order subs from the Italian place for that cost..

They had the Trinity chocolate ice cream that my son-in-law wanted along with buy one get one so I picked up Publix strawberry and it was delicious

You cant be unhappy shopping here. Every person who works here greets you with a smile and asks how you are doing!

Great lunch spot on upper lever. Not sure why bldg has to be so tall over all.

I absolutely LOVE it there. My mom works there, my brothers going to work there, and In 2 years, so am I. Its bob even mash potatos are phenomenal. My mom works so hard in the kitchen and she makes it look so good. I would make her manager if I was the owner. Oh, and if you wanted to know, her name is Jenn Manley.

Clean, not too crowded and reasonable prices but I still prefer Aldi

The renovations are wonderful! Wide aisles everything clean and shiny! The deli and produce departments are huge! Great selections..the fresh meat department is much smaller than one would expect in a store this size.

I didnt see a bicycle rack, but there are a few rails you can chain your bike to. Frozen unprepared chicken was along the bottom row in aisle 8 but isnt listed on the sign. Its several aisles from the meat department if you too get lost like I did. The lot of produce is too perfect and shipped long distances, it was cool to see a few local items. Cheese counter was impressive. They still have an antiquated style of coin counter that does not dispense giftcards instead of a coinstar, the fee is quite high. Catch methods of fish arent listed so the sustainability claim is likely just greenwashing. Its a typical publix. Quite spacious.

Its a Publix! Friendly people, clean store and bathrooms, good selection of groceries to choose from.

They just did a major remodel so its a nice and clean store. Prices are a bit high but, that is the price you pay for a nice, clean organized store. The deli is pretty good but, the value of their products have diminished thanks to inflation and the Im not ready to go back to work syndrome. As you know, its like that everywhere. Other than that, the store is very much in line with the rest of their stores.

Food is always fresh. Staff is always helpful. I have shopped in person and ordered with curbside pickup.

Talk about a great experience at a supermarket. We all wondered why they tore down the old Publix. Now we know that this Publix is much grander than all the rest. All the cold food, all the freezer food everything is under glass.If you can imagine even more professional than any other Publix. They also have i an inventory of different products than the other storesSome of the products are higher priced than the other stores but they also have better quality of merchandise

Clean store, great selection, fresh vegetables, fish, meats. The Ramen bowl is delicious! Deli counter is full of speciality items.

The remodel of this store looks amazing! Compared to the previous layout, its much more open and visually appealing. The employees are friendly, but some of the customers Ive seen here at night are not someone Id want to interact with.

I dont think I am going to be shopping here anymore. Since they reopened their prices are absolutely astronimical. $2.00 PER apple, non organic and in season?!?!? I ended up spending $17 to buy 8 apples to make ONE pie. Not cool. I hate Walmart more, but I guess I will be shopping there from now on.

Finally made it to the new Publix! Very helpful and friendly staff. They have a plethora of items to choose from. Absolutely clean environment and I was very impressed. Highly recommend the store and ask for something you cant find they can get it for you you just have to ask and they will order it for you if theyre able to.

Publix has always been my favorite. Even when I can find some things cheaper elsewhere. There is very little hassle there. The employees are all courteous and friendly with an honest effort to help you when needed. I try to make it my 1 stop shopping place. Could take time to go elsewhere too, but why stress myself. Top quality food, very clean store at all times, and just a great store.

I love to shop at Publix for a lot of reasons and Ormond Towne Square is my first choice. Its brighter sunnier and more friendly to me. Finding parking at The Trails store is miserable. Ive tried shopping there a half dozen times and Im done. Its just not the same. Dimly lit and the atmosphere isnt conducive to a nice shopping experience for me. Its around the corner from me but Ill make the short run up 40 in traffic to shop where Im happy doing it. Im sticking to what I like.

I rather shop at Winn Dixie customer service much nicer than Publix 🤬 Publix are crooks and not friendly at all 🤮🤮🤮🤮 moving on👀

Update: Publix customer service reached out in reference to my previous review and the pharmacy contacted Good Rx about the pricing differences. They refunded most of the difference and it looks like there is only one way to secure the coupon price or to know the price you will pay. Ask the Publix pharmacy to call Good Rx while you are there and secure the price youll pay. That way there will be no surprise when you come back to pick up your prescription. I commend Publix for their concern and for working to resolve any future issues.Publix pharmacy does not honor Good Rx pricing. This is the second time, with a different Publix pharmacy, we were charged over ten dollars more (about 25% over each time) than the Good Rx coupon stated. The first time we were told the Good Rx price had changed, but checking the web site right afterwards it hadnt. The second time, different store, we were told it doesnt matter what the Good Rx coupon says, Publix will charge what they want to. Of course this is after we were told theyd honor the coupon.

Staff at deli section here are very new and deli manager does not really know much about customer service. Purchased a sub on sale. Asked for no cheese, was upcharged $1 since it was a different sub without cheese added.Store is rebuilt and nice, but staff arent trained on customer service or treating people right.

Nice clean store but if you dont take advantage of the buy 1 get ones then your paying wayyyyyyyyyy to much 28 oz Gatorade for 1.28 is like paying gas station prices

Store is great but the deli is too slow and out of the spicy wings every time I am there. Was told they would be ready in 20 minutes. In 20 minutes they brought out wings but they were not spicy told I could wait till they put some on. I told them no thanks that I had already waited too long. So I havent gone back to the deli

Brand new building, a much needed improvement from the Publix previous. Hot food bar, subs, Ramen, and sushi are good. There is a second story where you can sit and eat your food.

I always find what Im looking for and all the employees are helpful and interested in your shopping experience. I really like their grab and go selections.

Publix in general is one of the best grocery stores I have ever been to. This one is no different.

What a Publix! Great selection! Not the standard Publix, since you could get items not found in most Publjx.

The store is nice & clean. It has less variety in some items compared to the one in Ormond-by-the-Sea. Employees are nice. Prices have gone up. You can not buy loose green beans, only pre-bagged. Onions are always on their last day & sad looking.

Donald, the Deli Manager at Trails, formerly at the Granada store, is so courteous and always helpful? He goes above and beyond helping you, even if its not in his area! Im from GA and had been going every morning for chicken wings and, even though theyre not ready early, he makes sure I get some! Great customer service, great person!

Clean, friendly, freshly remodeled and absolutely huge, this publix is almost big enough to go toe to toe with a walmart, this publix has just about everything and anything you can think of, if you want some ramen their deli makes some in store!!!!!!!!, the subs are widely regarded as subway killers for being so delicious but they have a huge assortment of foods at this deli in publix, Shoppings always a pleasure here even the pharmacy has a huge assortment of products. the higher price is worth the peaceful experience.

The Staff in Sub/Deli Area was slow I stood in line for 15 minutes and there were twenty people behind the counter they kept saying someone would be with you while they all act busy to service me I dont think I would revisit that department on the other hand the fruit was fresh I bought watermelon and a fruit bowl also a salad 🥗 everything else seems to be perfect even the cashiers was professional

I have been there 2 times. First it was a beautiful sight. I do wonder if it was necessary to demolish and rebuild. I bought cube steaks and they were dated the 21st this was the 18th. They were browning and smell old when I opened them....days later I got some fried shrimp from the counter daughter ate them for dinner and got violently ill. Not a great start. Im sure things will improve.

I am very impressed with the public store in Ormand trails but when I went to get a sub yesterday the man behind the counter is not wearing a mask and I really feel uncomfortable having a person standing over my sandwich with no mask having to Loudly speak in order to hear through the glass I think people who are preparing fresh food and/or sandwiches should be required to wear a mask if for no other reason than cleanliness

New Deli is amazing.

The store is well structured in its layout, and has some features which set it apart from other stores in the region. My previous local Publix in New Smyrna, for example, folded the bakery in with the deli, produce and ready-to-rock quick grabs. In this Publix, the Bakery is across the store. I’ll be honest— the carbs being way over there helps my “disciprine!” Lol. They also have a neat up high sitting area, and a reliable supply of Bang Energy. Alcohol is competitively priced for the area.Overall the store is clean, and the aisle content is laid out intuitively. It surely helps to walk everything once or twice a week so as not to miss promotional pricing; that discount this week might introduce you to a new favorite! One axe I always grind as a fussy sushi eater is the prevalence of so much mayo and aioli type stuff on rolls. That is a thing here too. To be fair many customers like it. I miss ready-to-go unagi with avocado, and eel sauce garnished with sesame. Best! Perhaps they’ll make it if you want it, but used to be, they’d always have a couple ready.All in all, the consistent quality that sets Publix apart from competitors is here. For everything but staples, Publix is my happy place!
