This was my first experience with Thomas Lumber and I ordered pressure treated lumber for a pergola. Delivery was on time and only $59. Dropped it off where I requested. Most of the boards were straight, a few were bowed more than I wouldve liked but not really a complaint, just a heads up. Also ordered all of the brackets and bolts. Helpful in store and were the only place in town I could find 2x2s.
Cool place with lots of variety in species of lumber. If youre looking for a piece of lumber other than your typical #1 and #2 pine (which they do carry, by the way). Cedar, oak, ash, cherry, mahogany, etc......... Even special order items are handled quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend for that person looking for something special and something beautiful off the beaten path.
INSPECT YOUR LUMBER ORDER - POOR EXCHANGE POLICYThis was our 1st experience using Thomas Lumber yard. Our contractor highly recommended them instead of the big box store.We received our lumber order on December 7th, just before the holidays. Upon inspection, over 50% of the lumber was unusable. It wouldn’t have been a problem if it were only a few bad pieces. We received lumber pieces with bows, warped twists, humps, bends, huge knots, missing edges, etc. As you can see in one of the images, theres a huge knot in the lumber. We called Thomas and asked them to exchange the bad lumber with just good, straight, and true lumber. Deanna(owner) declined our request because we inspected the order after their 6 day policy. We planned to order additional lumber for other projects; however, we will stick to other lumberyards and perhaps the BIG box stores that has a better exchange/return policy.
Second time here with the first time receiving excellence top notch friendly service. Sales woman Sean M is an obnoxious, absolutely the rudest fast talking, unknowledgable, and most unprofessional person ever. Request another salesperson as she is not worth the headache. The stockmen redeemed Thomas Lumber, otherwise I would never go back. If so with that treatment, I would request another salesperson.

Horrible customer service. Delivered faulty damaged french doors and framing, not up to standard. After repairing they just showed up at my home and wanted to drop off materials on my front porch. No scheduling or anything. They just showed up. After indicating that this was unacceptable as we needed it scheduled for our designer the opportunity to inspect the products they refused and insisted that we could either let them drop it off wherever, or they would just take it back and refund. Mind you, this was a custom piece that took 4 weeks to have manufactured and delivered. What a piece of work of a company.
Pricing seems better than at home-improvement stores. But lacking in customer service. Very rude over the phone. Not helpful when asking questions about products.

Local lumber yard-well know throughout the trades as overpriced- for todays visit, attendant tells me he “I did not have time to look through all the boards” they only had 11 in stock! Was there to purchase appearance grade Cedar at 4.50 per foot! My mistake was stopping prior shopping online. Found at Lowe’s for 1.79 per foot.My last visit prior to this was 2006-Must be the second generation running the show.
The racism experience in Orlando. If you are not white they know how to make feel bad. Redneck fat guys with bad actitud. To get a door estimated I had to be there twice for the same project. They act like gods, they do not want to talk to you if you are not white. It took them 1 week to made an estimated. Finally I got my door from Home depot better quality and better warranty. Latin people need to stay away for this redneck company.

They take advantage of good paying customers cause at the end of the day she takes no responsibility of her shops careless acts of integrity. Dont bring your money here if i could give u any experienced advice. 500$ was stolen from our family from this buisness and DEANNA has completely blind folded her eyes over the whole situation!
