Warning…Think twice before you take your car here. I been to this Midas about 3 times now and I always leave with a new quote for some new work to be done to my car. Seems like they have new mechanics. They rushed to fixed my car and when I got it back screws and caps were missing, they gave me my car back sloppy. My car is a good running 2013 nissan and never had problems until I brought it to this Midas. The manager doesn’t not care and is rude! He doesn’t talk directly to you he has to talk through other worker that’s how much he cares and likes to talk over you which is very disrespectful! Believe the reviews when more than one person says it. It’s true! They are not getting me to play into the always fix and keep paying them money! I will be going somewhere else. I will never do business with them again!

They scheduled me for a 10:00am appointment, but didnt start the oil change until at least an hour later. They did a good job, but if you are in a hurry, do not schedule with them!!!

I just the Midas location on Orange Avenue and several customers didnt have a mask on even though theres a sign on the door saying masks are mandatory.... Needless to say I immediately turned around considering todays current state of affairs dealing with this pandemic

The manager Dan was rude and do not respect women. The service was quick. I would never go there again . He also over charged for my Oil change .

Got a quote for 4 Cooper AT3 XLT 275/55/20 tires online (buy 3 get 1 free) for $823, when I got there they they failed to tell me that they ordered different (CHEAPER) tires because the ones I ordered were not in stock. Then they tried to charge me a lot more than their online price for the tires they actually received. They tried to charge me $255 per tire for a tire that is $211 on their website (Cooper AT3 4S), and they acted like that was a deal. My online quote for 4 Cooper AT3 XLT tires was $823 installed. They tried to charge me $1100 for AT3 4S tires. When I confronted them about not being the correct tires they dropped the price to $1000 with an alignment. Still higher than what my original quote would have been with an alignment (roughly $900) for more expensive tires. I guess they didnt think Id verify before they started installing. Needless to say I left without a set of new tires. Very disappointed with their service. I will never do business at this Midas location.

Service was quick, but the manager and the mechanic were rude! The mechanic backed our car into the handicap spot out front and hit the pole. His excuse was the pole is black and I couldnt see it. I am short and even I could see the pole in my rear view mirror🙄. They were rude about the whole situation. Will not return to this location!

This place is fantastic. I’ve never had to wait an absurd amount of time to get taken care of. Their prices are extremely reasonable. Dan made sure I understood everything that was happening and that I was well taken care of. He’s great! I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else for as long as he’s there!

Came in for an appointment, front desk ignored me for 10 minutes while i was standing in front of them, they didn’t even bother saying, “we’ll be right with you” or anything . Mind you there are two employees at the front desk. I sat down, then another person comes as a “walk in”, and they took him in before me. They didn’t even acknowledge or apologized for the wait, they just brushed it off. I was a frequent customer and every visit it’s a different problem, this will be the last time i visit this location. I do not recommend at all.

If I could click off all the great things about this company I would. I absolutely love John. And Dan. I’ve been a long-time customer of this company and I’ve gotten great service. I love this place. Whenever I go there I always interact with the owner and his manager. I feel happy and safe inside my vehicle whenever I leave.

Worst shop I’ve ever had the experience to deal with if your looking for a shop to misdiagnosis your car this is it, not to mention the lack of customer service here or lack of ownership, waited 20 minutes only to be greeted by the “shop manager” who smelled as if he had been drinking. Needless to say avoid at all cost, you will be grateful you did !Good luck, keep a good eye out for those backyard mechanics like them ! You shouldn’t trust just anybody to work on your car

The professionalism of this business was not there. I went with a problem and they didnt seem interested in giving me solutions. They are the mechanics and knowledgable people that failed. Only in interested in doing my oil change. And allowed a customer to but into my business. Wont return here again. (Midas OBT is better at least).

This is a great Midas location. I had a brake fluid flush on my B-class at a reasonable price compared to others Midas shops . It was a quick in and out.

Guys were great. I would suggest you do a little research on brakes - brakes start at $xx but you need to make sure youre looking YOUR vehicles make and model. Its not super complicated-you can educate yourself with 15 minutes and a google search. The guys bent over backwards for us to help get brakes and tried to get us closer to our budget. Will for sure go back.

On Oct 19 I brought my car in for alternator issues. I was quoted about $400 for the cost of replacing the alternator + labor. After inspection I was told the battery had gone bad and would need to be replaced (about $200), which brought the total to about $600. I said okay, do what needs to be done.After a few hours, when picking up the car, I asked to get the old battery, because it was under warranty with Advance Auto Parts and I wanted to claim it. I took the old battery to Advance Auto Parts, where they charged the battery for 20 mins, and then tested it right in front of me. The test printed that the battery was good, no defects, just needed charging.This means I never needed a new battery, and the guys at Midas should have known this.Today, Oct 22 I went back to refund the new battery. The mechanic on my car, David, and the owner, John, both affirmed that the battery was tested to be bad and I should just keep the new battery.I refused, and claimed I wanted a refund, and my old battery put back in. John refunded me $170.39 for the battery, but refused to refund me the labor, even though I never needed the new battery OR the labor to install it in the first place. Installing a battery is also a process which takes less than 5 minutes. Its not labor intensive at all.They put in my old battery and Ive been driving fine, with no issues. Im obviously fine with having paid the labor and parts for the alternator, but I should not have had to pay $24+tax on labor that I never needed in the first place.The fact that they tried to take advantage of a customer that wouldnt know better is disgusting. Im incredibly glad I asked for the old battery so I could get it tested myself, otherwise I wouldnt have known, and would be out the full $200.Ive been at midas plenty of times before this, and had a good experience each time. This first time at this location was not a good one, and Im sorry to say this makes me not want to go to midas anymore.

They are either very good or very shady. How can you tell the brakes rotors need resurfacing without taking the wheels off. Took my truck in for preventive maintenance, no braking issues or noises of any kind.

I had a great experience with the guys here at Midas. I was having issues one of my run flat tires. I took it to another place who just told me it was a bad tire and needs to be replaced (even though it was relatively new and had high thread). I brought it here, they were thorough. They found the problem and explained it to me at no charge. When I was seeing about ordering a tire through them, they didnt care my specific type of tire, but recommend places who did. I mean, if thats not service, I do not what is. This is really the only way I think I could show my appreciation for how courteous and helpful they were. Give them a shot, Ill be recommending them.

First of all they dont know how to do diagnosing and dont know how to fix, if they do, they fix the wrong things and take your money.If you ask them to fix your problem they dont fix it and they say we fixed the main problem and they will not fix the problem you asked and if you ask them to fix it again they will take your car to different shop and tell you to take it there after you wait a while. They are very smart to take your money.Also if theyve offered you a discount at the and they will not finish their job and take away the discount as well!! I recommend you to not go there!! (Example: if you ask them to fix you engine they will fix the wheels and if you tell them that engine is not running and than they will tell you my computer system is not showing problem on your engine! they excuse for everything!) IF YOU TELL THEM YOUR CAR IS NOT FIXED THEY WILL GET MAD!!!AND WE ARE DISPLEASED FOR THE MONEY WE PAID!!!!!!!

I have a 2008 Hyundai Sonata GLS, I have had my exhaust manifold to front catalytic converter replaced twice each by midas. On Tuesday or Wednesday of last week I was told to bring my car in and they took a look at it. Come to find out there assement of my manifold was completely wrong. They said it was fine and I have a non responsive car with a crack about 270 degrees around my manifold on the first pipe from the drivers side of the vehicle rendering it useless to go to work or my dentist appointment that I needed to go to. I am very unhappy with there evaluation of my vehicle. In stead of finding my issue and possibly welding it and fixing it. I was told the problem was my flex pipe. I had to disassemble 4 different vehicles at an auto salvage yard over this past week and replaced it to find out that there diagnosis of my manifold was wrong and I was right about it. Only thing they were right on was the flex pipe, however that wouldnt make my car non drivable as Ive been told by countless people. Very disappointed with the orange Ave location. Now if it doesnt get fixed Im probably going to lose employment due to a lack of a functional vehicle that could have been repaired last week by them. If you depend on your vehicle to help provide for your family I would not recommend using this location.

I would have given no stars if possible. My 71 yr old father came to this shop to get an oil leaked checked out. It’s been 3 weeks now, 600 hundred dollars later and a couple more visits in between, and the problem is still there. In addition, the car shakes a little when stopped at at stop light, which it did not do before. This Midas is terrible!!

They tried to rip me off for $1,600. Said I needed to repair something that was making a noise. Said it was urgent. What they didnt know is my vehicle has been making that noise for 14 years.I know what causes it and there is certainly nothing urgent about it.

Midas strives to be your trusted local automobile repair and tire center. I have owned this shop since September 2012. I will address some of the negative reviews here personally.Arion Mershon called our shop asking for a quote to install brake pads on her vehicle, a Honda Civic. She was told that the price for doing this STARTS AT $89.00 per axle. She showed up at our store a few days later, as a walk in customer, and was quoted the correct price to do her vehicle with OEM pads and labor. Her vehicle uses ceramic brake pads and the labor to install them takes 1 hour. Our shop rate is $99 per hour. It was explained to her that we could install semi-metallic pads and give her a break on the labor and still do the job for $89, but this would not include the resurfacing of her rotors, which she needed, nor could we warranty the parts if she didnt do this. If she wanted to do the resurfacing of the rotors it would cost $54 on top of the $89.The customer wanted the ceramic pads installed, her rotors resurfaced and insisted that we do all of this for $89, because that is what she understood the phone quote included. I guess she didnt hear or completely ignored the STARTS AT part of that phone quote. We cannot sell her that work and parts at that price. Since we could not reach an agreement with her we suggested that she go to any other repair shop and see if they could do what she wanted for that price. The customer left in a huff and started writing negative reviews about our store all over the internet. The customer does not dictate our prices and most vehicles require an inspection for a proper and accurate quote to be given to them. A phone quote is just a guide to give the customer an idea of what to expect as a starting price.Mirsaid Mirkodirov. This customer brought in a Mini Cooper that had the wiring harness all hacked up and spliced together. The vehicle was barely running and would require that we first fix the wiring harness before we could even begin the actual diagnostic procedure on their vehicle. A repair like this takes many steps and the costs go up as the next problem gets discovered during the diagnostics and repairs. We tried to explain this to the customer but because of a language barrier it seems he didnt understand this. We ended up replacing his wiring harness, which wasnt cheap, so we could diagnose the other running problems his vehicle has. The customer only wanted to pay for this repair and decide to take his vehicle because of the mounting costs. Since he chose to do this, we could not complete the repairs his vehicle needed, so now we are the bad guys and the customer is dissatisfied.David Lewis. All of our work is warrantied. Our brake pads and shoes carry a nationwide lifetime guarantee against defects. We only perform the work our customers authorize us to do on their vehicles. If your vehicle required any additional work, other than the authorized work, we would need to charge for this. If you are not satisfied with the work performed on your vehicle come in and discuss this with us. We would like to iron out and misunderstandings you might have.

The most horrible experience ever!!! It’s been almost two full months and my issue is yet to be resolved! Avoid this place if your trying to get something actually fixed. If you want your broken and for someone not to take ownership, this is your place!!!
